Countless issues were involved, especially since it's so difficult to get parts on a 2003 Jeep. However, I've now had it completely painted. Looks like a new car and runs just as good ! Mark always gets right back with me ( and, admittedly, I can be just as high maintenance as my antique almost car!) he lets me know what's going on, good or bad. Exactly 1 week, and 3 days (5/3) after my purchase, the vehicle began experiencing serious transmission problems -- violent jerking on acceleration, grinding sounds, and failure to roll normally when shifted into Drive. When I took it to Braman Hyundai (5/4), I was told the transmission needs to be fully replaced at a cost of $8,500. They mentioned to me that it seems like the transmission was already worked on and they did a very poor job. I checked the carfax report and the one previous owner only serviced the vehicle at hyundai dealerships (nothing serious only service oil changes, and tire rotations) up until it got sold to Florida Fine Cars where they did they're own service to the vehicle. Still not labeled as anything transmission related. They seem to have known about this issue and still sold the car regardless, just not report it to the carfax report. I've seen Florida Fine Cars reply to other 1 star reviews stating they disclose all the information with the customer, and provide honest carfax reports. However, none of this issue was disclosed to me at the time of sale, and it does not appear anywhere on the Carfax report Florida Fine Cars provided me that the transmission was worked on. The only thing they stated was a small accident to the front and side bumper, all cosmetic. I would not have taken the car if the transmission was bad. To make matters worse, I texted the sales representative, Josue (apparently the "new guy") to inform him of the issue with the car HE sold me and he stated to me "bro i don't even work there anymore" Another weird red flag to add to everything. Ive called multiple times, and cant get through to anyone, they say they'll call back but don't. Its almost as if they see my number pop up and purposely not answer because i called from a different phone number and they didn't hesitate to answer, I was able to speak to Mark who was the service manager he said. Saying he'll "look into it" If you are considering purchasing a used car from them, I strongly urge you to have any vehicle independently inspected before signing anything. Do not rely solely on the Carfax they provide you even though they swear by their honest reports.

When I first met the sales owners and creditors of prime I was looking into a Nissan van very nice but when I went to turn it on there was a ticking sound that I didn't hear. I wanted this van, but the salesman had told me that he's was sorry he couldn't sell me the van in good conscience with that sound. I didn't know these people from atom at that point I had the radio blasting and really didn't even know how to shop for cars , at the time. So no if they feel theirs something not really right or even if you find something they want to make sure it's not rolling out of there just to roll back in, they want your business I know they have mine. My daughter will get her first car there I will be back for a 4th & 5th. Don't just put negative remarks because things didn't go your way and you couldn't get your vehicle for practically free, it's not right to slander someone because your acting like a little princess. By the way they will take your lower "reasonable" cash offer. But, do understand they are a business, and they're not just going to hand you a car. I…read morefound a couple cars that looked nice and drove okay but when I had a mechanic look underneath everything was practically glued together with sealant; these things could be repaired but when we offered a lower price in light of this they wouldn't budge. I was paying cash too. They are banking on poor; unsuspecting people that will finance at their 22% rate and pay full price out of desperation. No warranty on vehicles either and try to tell you Car Fax is not accurate because they don't want you running one on the vehicles.

Excellent and very informative much better faster and offer you much more for your car than CarMax…read more They explained to me that my payoff as I saw it was not my payoff if they purchased it for me it would be less as they didn't have to include taxes etc. I thought my payoff was $18k and once they logged into my finance company it was actually $16,7 They offered me $16,4 so I only had to come out of pocket $300 to get rid of a car. Amazing deal I did not end up going that route because the Cadillac dealer offered me another $100 so I walked away from the car only paying $200. If I waited to turn the car in after end of lease I would have owed one more $600 car payment plus $2800 because I was 14,000 over mileage plus a down payment for the new car. So thanks to Car Drop educating me on my options I walked away winking. . I highly recommend them.

I had to call my sales associate back to make sure we didn't forget to do something So after the PB Mitsubishi debacle, I was reminded that I know someone who works at CarMax in VA. So I went on their website and got prequalified. I found the vehicle I wanted in Orlando and then reached out to my guy to see what the next step was. This was on a Friday afternoon. My guy was off that day but jumped right in to assist me. He advised me to schedule a test drive so that the car would be reserved. He looked at what I had submitted and gave me an idea of what my payments would look like and what bank I would get the loan from. He said on Monday he would call me and we would get the process done. Over the weekend, I browsed through their inventory and found another one that I may be interested in that was in NC. Fast forward to Monday (3/17/2015), I spoke to my guy told him that I found a newer model of the vehicle I originally picked out that I wanted. Provided him with the stock number and he advised me to cancel my appointment with the one in Orlando and pay the shipping fee to have the one I wanted shipped to my nearest store. Then he submitted everything to the bank. He then told me that his goal is to make sure when I get to the dealership, I won't need to do much. The ETA for was between 3/22 and 3/27. I was notified every step of the way with the shipping of the vehicle. It arrived at the Royal Palm store on the morning of 3/22. All of my paperwork was submitted on that day and reps from the store made contact with me multiple times throughout the day. By 6:30 that evening, I was at CarMax speaking with Amanda and Brogan (I think that was his name). They were perfect and had me out of there within one hour of my arrival with my keys in my hand!!!!!! I would recommend CarMax to anyone! The customer service was above and beyond from start to finish! In addition, I called a few days later asking for new windshield wipers and they told me to come one over and they would take care of it. They did, with no hassle!

Attached are pictures of the front passenger side tire with puncture marks and rip on interior wall. Carmax let me drive off the lot like that. I live 20mins away and immediately went flat on the way. The person who changed my tire said I was lucky it didn't pop and disintegrate while on 441. No response from CarMax corporate office about it. Also, needed to put in another 1k because there was no maintenance done on vechile on carmax hands. Even the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Carmax left a gps tracker in the car. Oh, and personal information from previous owners in the glove box. All around hack job. Beware if you are selling or buying at this location Update: Carmax corporate office and royal palm dealership called me to discuss. Jason M, GM of royal palm, was helpful and did everything he could to rectify the situation. That is the only positive to story but not enough to change the rating. The national team is useless. Not one person could name ANY of the 125+ point inspections checks. Empty apologies. Zero care given or compensation for my time and troubles that i need to invest to get the car running properly. I talked to a woman who spoke like a kindergarten teacher and treated me like a little kid. Please note that their sales team is capped on commission so their sales rep are not experts but rather glorified retail associates. I would love to sue them after the ordeal but i am no competition for a billion dollar company. Carmax was founded by the same investors as Circuit City. The downfall will be the same. CM is way too big and corporate to initiate change before failure sets in. Not surprised this company is tanking.
