Cakes for a his/hers birthday party I recently hosted. The execution of my concept was perfect. The cakes were beautiful and delicious!

Exquisite Desserts created the most stunning and delicious cake for my husband's 80th birthday celebration we recently held in Palm Springs, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. The design was elegant and beautifully crafted based on an inspiration photo provided --truly a work of art that became the centerpiece. We chose devils food chocolate with strawberry mousse filling, and Italian buttercream frosting. The flavors were exceptional: moist, balanced, and clearly made with care and high‑quality ingredients. Would highly recommend them for any occasion.

Wedding cake

Son's Wedding 11/16/25 The wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. The cake was fluffy and the raspberry and vanilla mousse filling yummy. We received compliments from everyone. The mini tarts and deserts were also spectacular. I give you a "10 star" rating for your skill and artistry. Thank you so much for making this day special.

The main bridal shower cake. Vanilla cake with chocolate ganache filling. So delicious!

Another amazing cake and cookies by Samantha and her Exquisite team. Thank you all for making our birthday celebration even more special!

This is the best bakery I have found since moving to the desert! I'm very appreciative to the team who worked with me on my family's birthday cakes during the peak of holiday season. I have now ordered three cakes from them, and each one has been excellent. Be warned, you have to book in advance if you want anything during the holiday season; they get very busy! I will be ordering from them for any birthday or special occasion that requires a delicious cake. Thank you!

We also had exquisite desserts make a grooms cake & cookies for our welcome party which also turned out perfect. If you want a cake that looks beautiful & tastes amazing order from exquisite desserts.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

The counter staff is responsive almost to the point of being psychic. This next sentence may cause the owners pause, but I recommend over-doing it on the pastries - way overdo it! Buy you and your guests more than you can possibly finish. Get some for your neighbors and friends. Turns out…read morethis place is a restaurant as well as a bakery, so we stayed and I had the croque madame and a super frothy cappucino. Friend said his hot chocolate and croissant were great. My sandwich was great. Told Marc the owner who served us, this is gonna be the best meal of my day. I got takeout with steak and eggs and the onion soup for my son (clearly I'm spoiling him). Both were really good and the steak was tender. All items recommended. I may have to go back over the next couple days before heading back to L.A.

Why is no one talking about this place?!!!…read more I can say this place is one of those rare finds you measure other meals against afterward. I stumbled on The French Corner while driving cross‑country, expecting another forgettable meal- and instead walked into what felt like an old‑world kitchen with a dash of current period wrapped in quiet romance. The room has a warmth and charm that you just don't see anymore: soft, unpretentious, intimate, like being welcomed into someone's home rather than processed through another restaurant. In a country where corporate dining has made every exit start to look the same, this felt almost unreal, like I'd slipped into a little pocket of time that somehow survived. We came in the morning and started with pastries, and that's when I realized this wasn't an ordinary stop. The pastries were next‑level: delicate, rich, clearly made with quality ingredients and real care. You taste butter, you taste texture, you taste intention. It was one of those moments where you look across the table and both of you know--you've found something special. We were so impressed that we didn't just talk about coming back; we had to come back that same day for dinner, which they've only recently started serving again since covid, and it felt like being let in on a secret. The food carried that same homemade soul the pastries promised--deep flavor, thoughtful seasoning, nothing rushed, nothing generic, fresh vegetables etc It was the kind of meal where conversation lingers, bites are shared, and you suddenly realize hours have slipped by without you noticing. There's an intimacy here that no chain restaurant can manufacture. As someone who's spent years chasing good food from the road, I can say places like this are heartbreakingly rare--far and few between, and fragile in the best way. I already know I'll be pining to return, measuring future road trips against the hope that I can swing by again. If you're anywhere within reach, don't wait or assume it'll always be there. Go now, sit down, and experience it while you still can.

We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!! If you're in the desert and your sweet tooth starts whispering reckless ideas, listen to it. And definitely support this family-owned local spot. It was well after the lunch rush but it was pleasantly busy. Employees were friendly and checking on patrons, serving food and tending to empty tables. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" Then turned back around to what he was doing. What? GO? I don't know what his intent was because I'm not a mind reader, but it felt rude and dismissive. His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment.
