I'm not a donut connoisseur but these donuts are good!! I bought two dozen plus a jalapeño ham sandwich. The donuts and ham sandwich were very good. The interior is modest and functional. The father and son were efficient and very nice. I will definitely buy more donuts at Teddy's. They have donuts until they sell out so I'll go early. read more

We stopped in at Teddy's for the first time (after moving here in 2024) and the simplicity of this tiny shop makes it a great backdrop to delicious donuts! We are both glazed and old fashioned and apple fritter fans. These donuts are crafted with love and so scrumptious. We live about a mile and a half away so we won't get carried away too often but this is a fantastic resource and we will be sure to get there early to get great choices! read more

Wow...Wow...WOW is what I have to say about this place. The best donut you'll ever have I guarantee. They taste like they are made to order and not that fake sugar icing like most have. I genuinely think they make everything in house from scratch. The donuts are soft and warm without skimping on the good parts. I like jelly filled and Teddys literally packs it in so you have some with every bite. The blueberry filling is not sweet or tart and is my favorite jelly filled donut. Hmmmmm....The donuts were fresh, but I have had more flavorful donuts. However, I had the ham and cheese croissant. It was a nice croissant with square canned meat, not ham, maybe spam, sliced thin with jar or canned white fake cheese smothered all over it. I took one bite and could not finish eating it. I have had ham and cheese croissants from all over the world and never have had a bad one or this version. I personally did not like this version. read more

WARNING: These donuts are addictive. I first started dropping in around 11:30 am, only to learn that he was mostly sold out. The first time that I actually came in early and had a sugar twist - I was hooked. I especially love the sugar twists. They are deliciously chewy and sugary. I salivate thinking about them. Now I call ahead and he saves me a few until I drag myself in to pick them up around 11:30. He always says "see you tomorrow" when I leave. HAHA Most highly recommended. read more

Another city, another donut shop. Read the reviews and decided to try some of their donuts. We ordered 3 yeasted donuts -- glazed, sugar-raised, blueberry-filled. I'm partial to glazed donuts but this one wasn't that great. It wasn't fluffy at all; it was flat, had an okay flavor but the others were better. Of the 3, my favorite was the blueberry-filled one. The donut had a generous amount of filling and the dough was light and fluffy. The sugar raised one was pillowy too. Regular ones were $1 and the filled one was $1.25 I think. Service was alright. Overall, I'd rate this a 3.5 but there are no 1/2 ratings. I'd return for the blueberry and sugar ones. read more

Super soft donuts are my favorite! Went today with my husband, both got 2 donuts each and a coffee. Donuts were sooooo soft, pulling them apart felt like a cloud! The lady who attended us was very kind and patient with us. Typical donut shop ambiance and selection, but they also have yummy looking boba, slushees, and coffees. As usual, Yelpers did not disappoint. I arrived at Teddy's to find a plentiful, well-priced assortment including old fashioned, cake, and yeast donuts and plenty of pink boxes to take them home in. The apple fritter was HUGE & the outside was a perfect fried crunchy sugary exterior, & the inside was tender & fluffy filled with a good amount of apple bits & cinnamon...full of delicious flavor. The raspberry filled donut was just as perfect. It had the right amount of filling & the donut itself was so light & tender...just melted in my mouth. Both we're cooked perfectly. Tucked away in a little plaza is this awesome donut shop! We got a dozen and it's so affordable at $11.50 (and we found out later that the man at the counter even threw in a bunch of donut holes for free-- I cry at the generosity because I can only imagine how hard it is to be a small business right now). I am new to La Quinta and tried finding a donut shop with my favorite which is an apple fritter. I visited three other shops (two to be exact and I won't name them) and bought their rendition of an apple fritter (when I could find one) and they were small, pricy, and/or greasy! So I decided to visit Teddy's today because I saw some really good reviews and to be honest, looking through the photos made me want to try their apple fritter. I was not disappointed because not only did Teddy's have a full supply, but the price was not bad! The lady who waited on me was friendly and courteous. I had to drive a few miles to get home, so I decided to buy a jelly donut. Both donuts were fresh and tasty! I have now found my favorite donut shop! I would recommend this little shop for those of you who are looking for great donuts! There is a big variety while other shops had maybe two trays. Excellent sweet donuts. Well stocked for a Sunday at 8am. I've had donuts at other places close to me, but they always taste like old oil. Teddy's doesn't have that same rancid taste.
