Asked for eyelash extensions and the lady did them with my eyes OPEN and it ended up looking like there was tar on my eyelashes. Burned so bad while she was doing it I was basically crying and they made me fan the glue and it was gluing my eyes shut. I told them how bad it was burning and they said that was normal. Nothing about this place is ok I walked out holding my eyes open so they wouldn't be glued shut, paid $40 and my lashes came off 2 minutes after I got into the car. read more

I had such a terrible experience here. I do not recommend it. I made an appointment a week before, and even had text confirmation of my appointment time at 11:00 am. I arrive at 11 and no one has opened the store. I literally waited until 11:45 when the very rude employees told me they don't open until noon. I don't understand why they made appointments at 11 am when they're not even opened then. I get mistakes happen, but they were so rude and offered me a "discount" on the service that was already discounted to begin with! So they offered me nothing. I explained I had a flight in the afternoon and it was my only time to get it done. It was terrible customer service and so rude. Don't go here. And judging from the other reviews, maybe I saved myself because the services look terrible. read more

So disappointed in one of their employees. I have been a regular customer and then the pandemic started and I stopped going for a few months. Decided to go recently to get eyebrows done. I was horrified to see that the person I was getting my eyebrows done from had a hole in her mask. I mean what the heck? A mask with a hole in it is as good as no mask at all. I've recently moved from Chicago to Waupaca, and finding some of the things I'm accustomed to in the big city has been a challenge. I headed to Appleton today specifically to get threaded, and I can say, I will not be back. I found the place in the mall just fine. I was the only customer. There were three employees. One asked what service I wanted, and the other two were talking, I was only there for a moment but it sounded like a personal conversation to me. She told me to sit down. I no sooner sat than was told to get up (ugh) and go to the chair. The woman who threaded me has no touch for this. I literally felt like she was ripping hairs out of my face (which she is, but typically this is not an overly painful experience) and some of my skin too. I get threading to avoid the nasty red marks that wax leaves, and my face looked awful when she was done. I get my eyebrows, stache and just under my lip done, and I was so pink I looked like a little kid who licks his lips all day. I've been getting threaded for over 15 years and this was the first time the threader did both eyebrows, rubbed the witch hazel on me and THEN handed me the mirror. Usually they do one and then ask if it's up to par. You're done, what am I going to say? Luckily, I am happy with the way she did my eyebrows, thus the 2 stars. But she didn't speak to me, didn't ask what service I wanted done, just assumed it was eyebrows and out. I really felt like $12 when I left. It was incredibly impersonal, and painful. This business could use some customer service training, and some trained threaders. read more

Went here for my birthday to get eyelash extensions & let me begin by saying absolute TRASH. It looks like my eyelashes were put on with tar. The lady had me hold my eye open the whole time; that's were I should have known this would be bad. If i could give this a zero star rating I would. I will say the lady that I paid in the end was extremely nice, but the lady who did my lashes was trash. I will NEVER return. Guess this is what i get for only paying $35. read more

They were quick and did a fantastic job. I did not have an appointment but was able to come in and and get them done in probably 15-20 minutes. Tip for anybody else who is only coming to the mall get your eyebrows done, park at a Younkers entrance! She noticed I was still "recovering" from having my eyebrows done too thin and made sure just to do a maintenance threading, nothing that would slow my progress from filling back in my brows! Very very unsatisfied. I went here for years, even since they were just a little kiosk. I stopped going a year or so because ago I felt like they weren't doing as good of a job anymore, and had my friend that does eyebrow threading start doing them because she always did a good job. I made an impulse desciosn to get them done while at the mall because they were pretty overgrown and my friend wasn't available to do them before Christmas. Boy do I regret that decision. They totally destroyed the shape, they are WAY too thin and they're cut off so the eyebrows don't start til halfway into my forehead. I got a look at them and was trying to tell myself they weren't as bad as they were, and still paid for them because I didn't know what else to do. I shoud've said something because I am almost in tears about how they look. I will never be back. read more

(Using my boyfriends account) I would give this place zero stars, if I could. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I told the lady I like the thickness of my brows already, I just want to even them out and clean around them. Of course she didn't listen, after she finished one, I got nervous and told her not to make them too skinny. I ended up going home with a super skinny brow on one side, like I over tweeze them and the other one just a tiny bit thicker than the other brow. Horrible service, telling me they can't do anything. Do not go here in the Appleton Fox River Mall Location. The people are rude, and they treat customers badly. The threading is really poorly done. And they will cut you. They will also not apologize for cutting you and be disrespectful. Do not especially get threaded by a person named Hindia. She cut me and my friend and the company did not provide any refund, apology or compensation. The owner Navi also was not cooperative and defensive over the poor service. Linda the Cashier was extremely rude and defensive as well. Be careful, it is worth going another mile extra to another vendor in a different city like Madison or Milwaukee to get more experienced threaders who will actually respect you and treat you with good customer service while getting your threading done. I would give this place a negative 1 or a 0 if I had the option. This was the worse threading experience I have ever had. Along with cutting me and my friend, they showed very poor customer service and incredibly rude disgusting behavior. So overall, It is not worth your time and facial appearance to go here! read more
