DO NOT COME HERE FOR SEW-INS! NAJA WILL RUIN YOUR BUNDLES AND DO A TERRIBLE JOB! I had the worst experience at this salon. Within 32 hours of getting my sew-in, tracks were slipping out while I was out of the country. I paid a $40 deposit via CashApp and $240 in-store, and the results were absolutely unacceptable. The stylist cut my wefts 27 times during the process, despite claiming it wouldn't cause shedding--it did. She left noticeable 3 fingers-width gaps between tracks, even though I provided three bundles. To make matters worse, her watching a YouTube tutorial during the appointment to learn how to do a sew in is crazy! By the second day of my vacation, I was forced to wear scarves and hats because the tracks were visibly hanging. My friends later informed me that the gaps in my sew-in were obvious. For nearly $300, my sew-in should have lasted at least 8 days, but instead, it ruined my vacation and my confidence during my trip. The stylist was nice but clearly inexperienced. This experience was embarrassing, disappointing, and completely unprofessional. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. I went back to see they would correct frontal sew-in. The young hairstylist was very disrespectful. She put a large amount of hair adhesive/glue in the front my hair. Still didn't fix all the thread hanging nor sewed all the loose and hanging hair. I had to take the entire frontal sew in out and wash my hair several times because whatever she put in my hair it was burning my scalp, my scalp is sore, irritated, bumps and burning. Also, my hair line is completely going. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Some of the hairstyles seemed to be nice as I spoke with a couple and observed but you just don't know they're skill set. read more

Very great staff and had excellent Covid 19 prevention practices. The service itself went well as I had an appointment and did not have a wait at any duration of my service. I assumed due to the pricing of the service I would be satisfied and have ability to keep the style for a couple of months. Initially when seeing finished product, I was happy. It wasn't until I got home and did further inspection that I noticed the coloring of the lace was no where near my actual complexion and the hair from the frontal did not match the rest of the bundles (brown versus black). It looked very pretty on camera, but in person it left more to be desired. The install's foundation was not very flat and the hair itself (purchased from shop in a bundle package) is pretty tangly and sheds more than I'm used to. I contacted the shop with my displeasure but did not hear back. I would not return, but the stylist is extremely talented so I would recommend with caution. Ask to see the hair and lace prior to install. I am in the process of removing the style after one week. I do wish I had checked reviews here prior to booking. read more

I have came here with no complaints so many times. However.....since I couldn't get in yesterday they scheduled me for an appointment for today, October 31st at 1:30pm. I have been sitting here outside the shop since 1:15pm and the store is locked as if they are closed. Their website states they open at 12PM. This is such an inconvenience to me. I found this place through Mayvenn's free install program. I initially had a frontal and it was beautiful. Within 2 days it looked horrible. It slipped like you wouldn't believe. I ordered new hair and did a closure instead and had Jaguar add in a band to hold the frontal in place. It worked but there was still some slippage. I went back to get my reinstall and lo and behold Jaguar wasn't there. No explanations why but I had an appointment with her and she was a no show. Now mind you this appointment been on the books so they should have told me in advance. They offered to reschedule, but I live to far away. Anyway, I had another stylist do my hair and it took forever. Granted she actually did a better job and used a stronger glue (which I've been asking Jaguar for since I got the initial install... She refused and was like if I sweat profusely there's nothing she can do about that. So these chicks dancing on stages for shows who frontals don't slip ain't sweating or ain't using a stronger quality glue? whatever.) So after all that I just wanted to get out of there and was debating if I'll ever go back. I decided I would shop around and use them until I could find someone else. Well, I called to schedule maintenance and they said I could go to the website, there's slots available but look online and find which one I want. Okay, I can do that but like I'm on the phone, a paying customer and you just blow me off. I should have read the reviews first and saved myself from a headache. My main concern is how the frontals are installed period. I look online at YouTube girls who frontals look better than mine and I'm paying for this in a salon that still shows my hairline and I'm like why? My main concerns is the way its laid will ultimately leave me with no edges. read more

The "Owner" Jaguar is very unprofessional. Some of the other stylist (the washers, braiders etc..) are OK. She sits at the front and doesn't greet you. She just tells you to fill out a form.. I understand that everyone has bad days, but this is my second time coming here and she always gives the same energy. Her installs are terrible! As she was sewing my hair, I could constantly hear my hair breaking. Also, she cut layers into my bundles and the ends where she cut were raggedy. Her curls are always bushy. OK!. Normally I don't write reviews BUT when it comes to my hair? and my edges?!, I HAVE TO. I went to get my a lace closure install on 9.3.20 by Jaguar the artist. The red flags I noticed was that my install was very rushed. It was rushed for sure because my mask string was braided into my hair & I noticed that the stylist finished in 2 hours compared to 3-3.5hours (normal & average length time). Once my hair was finished I noticed that my hair was very tight and my edges were pulling but I thought this was simply normal for a install. Come to find out, the whole entire time my hair is extremely too tight from the stylist using stretchy bands to sew in my wefts (like a wig) the whole time my head was in excruciating pain, my hair was actually being ripped out of my scalp. When I pulled my closure up it was a nightmare. My edges are completely gone, my scalp is bleeding, swollen, I have peeled skin, scabs, redness, bruised, inflamed, itchy, sensitive, my hair is falling out, I have extreme breakage esp where the closure was and the back of my nape, I cannot touch my hair because it hurts my scalp, scalp extremely sensitive & itches. I also paid $706.75 for the 3 bundles that I used (& closure)-- (not purchased at this salon) which has gone to complete waste because the stylist cut my hair way too short (without asking me what length I desired!!!!!!) and because the install was incredibly incredibly done terribly I had to cut all of my wefts to make sure my hair was not cut which took my two hours to do. My hair was sewn in to a stretchy band (stretch net= NO BUENO!!!!!!!!), then the weft was sewn into a braid. This made it extremely extremely extremely difficult to find the thread to cut. The foundation of my cornrows were a complete mess! The work I received was 150% PURE laziness, carelessness, unprofessional, & negligent. My once beautiful healthy, long natural hair. Now my hair is a complete disaster esp my edges and the back of my nape. Oh and the bald spot on my hairline along with shedding. This is the worst install I've ever had in my life. I've had a lace closure before and nothing like this ever happened to me. Ever. Ever. Please spend the extra $ and go to a stylist that will not rush on your hair, and will care for your natural hair!! Please see pictures! read more

My first experience at this salon was pleasant. HOWEVER, my second experience was not the same. If you are not satisfied with how they did your hair do not expect them to care. I asked for crochets with individual in the front and the rest cornrows. After seeing my hair the stylist clearly didn't know how to do the individual crochets. My real hair was poking out of the fake hair. The stylist said my hair was too long and I actually had to pay extra for it. I was thinking it would've looked nice when she was finished. It looked a mess. I didn't notice until I got home. I called the shop to tell them and I was told I may have to pay to get it fixed and I would get a call back. Never did. I went up there and I was told the same bs that my real hair was too long for the individuals and I should've gotten faux locs which they charge too much for at that shop. Again I was told I would get a call back and never did. I had to go somewhere else to get the front fixed. All the stylist had to say is she didn't know how to do individual crochets. I wish I took a picture of how terrible it was but I was in such a rush to get it fixed I wasn't thinking. Beware before going to this place with a Groupon as the manager will, I repeat, she will up charge you to the point you will in the end pay more for the service than you would have paid without the Groupon. I had my first appointment with Jaguar da Artist and everything went great! Jaguar did an awesome job customizing my lace closure and with my install. To top it off I told her to style my hair anyway she saw fit and it looked good and it came out beautiful! The salon was clean and professional and the staff was personable and friendly will definitely be going back! Finally someone who knows what they are doing!!!!! read more

I am not one to write reviews however this experience needed one. I made the mistake of choosing this salon to get my hair done. I was getting a sew in with leave out. When washing my hair the lady barley even touched my scalp. She simply kept putting products on my hair and rinsing then out. Not once did she scrub/massage my head. It was like a half ass wash. She did a poor job of blow drying it too. However she was nice and asked if i needed water or anything. Then the owner and the main stylist was rushing when braiding my hair down. She cornrowed straight down with extension hair even though mine is quite long enough to braid without. Towards the back of my head she pulled and braided my baby hair into the braids which you are not supposed to do because it causes excess tension that results in damaged hair. She then hastily sewed together all the bottoms of braids into this big clump. There was no oil applied to my scalp or braids but just attached the net. She styled it ok however put a lot of heat on my leave out without applying heat protectant. She also barley spoke to me which I was fine with but some people might take issue with. The overall result was okay and would've gotten a better review however there were too many things that should have been done better. read more
