Hair Boss also sells products from the Davine line that are natural and work really well to protect hair. I'm obsessed with the Oi Oil, which makes my hair so soft and shiny. I did the BYOB weft installation package, since I already have extensions that are in great shape. But when it's time to replace them, I'm excited to use Hair Boss's wefts and to have Lena color match them for me (my previous extensions have all had to be died to match my tone). Move Ups and Reinstallations: My other stylists have all required me to do a move up after 5 weeks, and then a reinstall 5 weeks after that. For one, I hated that 5th week when my weft felt too grown out. And for two, that meant paying a lot of money every 10 weeks to get the weft reinstalled. But with Lena's Skinny Weft Method, I can keep the wefts in place for 6 months and I just need to get a move up every 4 weeks! This saves me time and money (move ups are only 15 minutes) in the long run. Amazing! And hello, the price?! I've had to drive as far as Calabasas to get the kind of pricing Lena offers. Some salons in the WeHo area are crazy expensive and don't give you the option to bring your own wefts. Lena's prices are beyond reasonable. Especially for the quality you're getting! In the beginning I did not know the full process of microblading and did not pick up on how badly Crystal was trained, she drew my eyebrows on, they were kind of blocky but she told me not to worry as it's just a template. She did absolutely no mapping and then put the numbing cream on. Come to when she started doing my eyebrows, they looked ok very dark and swollen but I couldn't see the true extent of what she had done, fast forward to two days after I notice how uneven and completely different shaped my eyebrows were. I was upset and messaged Crystal saying that I need them fixed and evened out ASAP or I would be going through with putting polysporin on my brows to remove them (her suggestion) she told me she would book me in for the Monday to fix my eyebrows-less than a week after I got them done, which is against what any other eyebrow tech l've spoken to would do. I confronted her about this and told her I didn't want her going near my face again. I messaged the school and they completely dismissed the fact that I wasn't happy with Crystals work and told me they thought it was great. First of all I don't know how anyone could feel comfortable giving a certification to someone who produces the kind of work Crystal produces and second of all how they can completely dismiss the horrible work she did without any offer to fix or remove it, which is needed. In the attached pictures you will she where she used such a heavy hand that the ink migrated, how she used to thick of a blade and too dark of ink and how truly uneven and terrible my eyebrows Now almost 6 years down the line I have gone for multiple removals with absolutely no avail, Due to how deep she put the ink. Have dealt with my eyebrows completely migrating again because of how deep she put the ink and have no option other than to cover my eyebrows up if I ever want to feel good about myself, which takes over an hour out of my day. And this is what my eyebrows are looking like Today, April, 6 2025. At this point in time, I have gone in for three saline removals, That did not work in the slightest because she put the ink too deep, On top of that, you can see the obvious migration of the ink because again, of how deep she put it. On top of all of that, I've looked into getting laser removal, which would be costing me over $2000 because Crystal botched my eyebrows with no actual guarantee that the removal will even work. My biggest insecurity are the eyebrows that Crystal put on my face, I spent over an hour every day covering them up with make up just so I feel confident enough to go outside and I have done so for the past six years of my life, All because Crystal took advantage of me and guaranteed me something that she could not produce. Crystal is now working out of Strands & I feel that their clientele should be able to know what she has done so she can't just do it to someone else.
