Hair Boss also sells products from the Davine line that are natural and work really well to protect hair. I'm obsessed with the Oi Oil, which makes my hair so soft and shiny. I did the BYOB weft installation package, since I already have extensions that are in great shape. But when it's time to replace them, I'm excited to use Hair Boss's wefts and to have Lena color match them for me (my previous extensions have all had to be died to match my tone). Move Ups and Reinstallations: My other stylists have all required me to do a move up after 5 weeks, and then a reinstall 5 weeks after that. For one, I hated that 5th week when my weft felt too grown out. And for two, that meant paying a lot of money every 10 weeks to get the weft reinstalled. But with Lena's Skinny Weft Method, I can keep the wefts in place for 6 months and I just need to get a move up every 4 weeks! This saves me time and money (move ups are only 15 minutes) in the long run. Amazing! And hello, the price?! I've had to drive as far as Calabasas to get the kind of pricing Lena offers. Some salons in the WeHo area are crazy expensive and don't give you the option to bring your own wefts. Lena's prices are beyond reasonable. Especially for the quality you're getting! BRONZE BAXX WELLNESS - MARDA LOOP LOCATION…read more I am extremely grateful and appreciative for being referred to Bronze Baxx by a family member. In March 2024, I sustained some severe injuries due to an accident. I was living daily with (Level 10) excruciating chronic pain. My injuries included my lower back (L3, L4, L5, and S1); Muscle tears and tendon bruising to both of my arms, baker's cysts and torn menisci in both knees on both sides. My OT at the first hospital initially had me walk with a walker and over time I progressed to using a cane. An extremely debilitating and humbling experience as I am 63 years old and was very active for my age prior to this accident. I have had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital because I could not walk and the pain had literally soared through the roof; level 100 out of ten, if that is possible. There have been several treatments over this past year with one in particular being cortisone injections in the injured areas. Not only were my injections extremely painful to have. I had multiple injection sites given the injured areas and the strong level of pain I have/had been experiencing. The results for me were very short lived. There was some minimal pain relief received from the cortisone injections BUT they only lasted me a few weeks to 4 months at most. Doctors also tried an epidural in my lower back after the cortisone did not work. I thought great I finally have some pain relief in my lower back so I could somewhat function, however that too was short lived as the pain relief in that area only last approximately 4 months. As stated earlier, for me, the cortisone treatments and pain relief was not working long-term, and as you may know, there is a limited amount of cortisone that a person can receive in their body and I had several areas treat. Cortisone use long-term is NOT a healthy option in my opinion, but I had to try it to see if it would work. Long-term use of cortisone injections can lead to several damaging effects, including cartilage damage, tendon weakening or rupture and bone thinning. Though I knew the risks going in I just wanted to have relief from the daily excruciating pain. I have several amazing treatment providers which includes specialists in the fields of: - Sports Medicine (AKIC Clinic); - Acupuncture & Holistic Medicine (Dr. Don Fan); - Massage Therapy; - Chiropractics (Curo Chiropractic); - Neurologist and Electromyographer (Dr. Fridhandler) at the Alberta Neurologic Centre; - Pain Management and Resolution (Divergent Health Care); AND - Late last year I added Bronze Baxx Luxury Wellness to my team. I researched the services provided by Bronze Baxx to see how their services offered would cohesively work with my other therapeutic treatments. They suggested the "Ballancer Pro", "Red Light Therapy", and "InfraRed Sauna." Now, I am not going to list all the strong benefits one can receive by using these therapy modalities BUT the results for me having been amazing. Check those benefits out on Google as they are extensive and positive. In hindsight, I wish I would have added Bronze Baxx to my healing team a lot sooner; but in my opinion better late than never! It is choice that I do deeply regret for not adding Bronze Baxx way sooner especially now, knowing the benefits I have received ongoing since I started my membership; they are now a part of my valued team. All my girls working there are amazing. They are professional (no pushy sales tactics), knowledgeable, engaging with each person that comes in, good listeners, extremely accommodating for my special needs, and a true joy to be around. The place is incredibly clean, welcoming and well maintained. I always look forward to going to my Marda Loop location because it is peaceful, has great music, and inviting. I strongly suggest that anyone who is experiencing severe chronic pain like I have to give these services a try. And for those with no chronic pain, you will definitely be glad you did add them to your health and wellness list because we all deserve to do this.
