I had submitted a maintenance request through my managements portal and they called this company to come help with ants in/outside of the building. I was in contact with a man named Carl. I had notified him that I have pets (2 dogs) and he said it was okay. Carl and I coordinated meeting at my property around 10:30 and he made it there just on time. I figured I would introduce my dogs to him outside of my unit seeing as one of my dogs barks pretty loud. As Carl was parking I was waiting near my porch for him. As he walks up to my building I tell him "hello! These are my dogs, I know the black one is pretty loud but she's super nice." He then proceeds to rudely reply, "well can you get them away from me." Which in all honestly kind of took me aback. So I replied with of course and stepped away from him, allowing him to go towards the front door of my property. Our building has a code so as I was waiting to see what he would do he pulls out his phone and starts to call someone. Of course, my phone starts ringing. I mention to him that he's calling me and I can see him physically change his attitude from rude to "customer service," I assume. Anyways, he tried kissing a** after that but I was already extremely dissatisfied with his customer service. He didn't even give my dogs a chance. They're basically my kids. Thank heavens for Extermiman. Ray answered the phone and called back repeatedly when I didn't answer mine. He was immediately reassuring and positive enough to quell our raccoon terrors. Kyle arrived the next work day at 8:00 on the dot. He inspected everything and found the entry point, set up a trap, reassured us. On his way he found a black widow spider nest and some other kind of spider. All as calm as a cucumber. Extermiman is ENTIRELY different from the other services we called. Ray gave us a fair quote immediately and the promised service was delivered immediately. Other estimates were vague, service was days out (if ever), contracts were required. Just unprofessional from beginning to end. Ray and his son are wild-life experts; they actually give workshops for the Utah Wildlife Department. They couldn't be more kind AND efficient! read more

Last year we had Sarah from Extermiman out to remove a HUGE wasp nest. She was AWESOME!!! Recently my parents found a raccoon and babies in their chimney. Extermiman recently treated our house for termites. We got 3 bids from competitive companies and Extermiman was similarly priced to one competitor and more than a thousand less than Terminix. They also provided a 10 year guarantee. I had received their name from a friend who had used Extermiman in the past. The other two companies barely walked around my house to evaluate the damage. Extermiman spent time looking through my basement to determine the best treatment locations. I asked a million questions about the treatment. Carl always answered my emails and calls promptly. His crew that came and treated also answered my questions when they came out to treat. They were very courteous and mindful of how they treated to keep my family safe. A few months after treatment, we remodeled our basement and we found new areas of damage. This was old damage but areas that were not visible until the remodel. Carl sent his crew back out, at no additional charge, to treat these additional areas just to be sure. I highly recommend this company. It's hard to have a good experience when you're talking about bugs eating your walls but they really did a good job and they put my mind at ease. I hope I never need their services for termites again but I won't hesitate to call them. read more

Never again. They sent this crackhead out who totally inferred I couldn't afford the service. She was totally rude to my mother when she arrived. She started spraying stuff all over my bare feet. She gave me unsolicited parenting advice about how to get my kids to clean my filthy house. She showed me pictures of her kids. Totally unprofessional. She would not stop talking to get the job done. She claimed to have saturated the area but there's no way. It's been almost a month and there are spiders everywhere. THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE DIRECTED AT EXTERMIMAN'S COMMENTS TO MY ORIGINAL POST First off, I did not belittle or berate his business. I did berate his business practices. I realize that it was a 30 day Warranty. I paid on Sept. 27th. I then realized that the service was done on the 23rd. So I did end up being 1 day late on the Warranty issue. My problem was his fee was $125. The last pest control people I used was Beeline. They charged $75. I called Extermiman because he promised a 90% kill rate. I never got more than a 50% kill rate which was absolutely no better than what I achieved spending $75 with Beeline. When I tried to calmly make him aware of this issue as well as the fact that I had just got back into town (again 1 day late) I used absolutely no foul language until he called me an a******, and then I returned the favor. I absolutely was not throwing a tantrum. But I see Carl Wilson pretty much has not no choice but to bald face lie about this in order to justify calling me an a******. Carl Wilson of Extermiman makes a feeble attempt to justify his rip off prices, by saying that most of his competitors require a contract. That's funny, I just looked at Angie's List and found 2 within 30 seconds. Awesome Pest Control and Beeline Pest Control. I have used both of these companies in the past, NO Contract required, and far more ratings (most of which are A) than Extermiman's 5 Total ratings. I absolutely will use them again before being completely ripped off by Extermiman. The only reason I tried Extermiman was due to their "claim" of a 90% kill rate. But as I see Extermiman has no problem with "fabricating garbage" if trying to justify calling a customer an Asshole because that customer questions his pathetic business practices, or trying to dupe someone into believing that that Extermiman is somehow worth $125 when his superior competitors only charge $75. By the way Carl Wilson knows exactly where I live, I do not know where he lives. If he wants to threaten me any more in the future, he can just let me know and I will be more than happy to discuss this further. read more

I called these guys from Colorado to do my termite inspection/spray for a new home loan. They did what they said, when they said, great price and communication. I recently called them to come take care of all the other bugs, they said they would be out Monday between 3-5, I got a call at 2 saying they would be here at 3 and they were. Great company, other Utah businesses could learn from these guys about communication with the customer. Had way to many businesses here say they will be out and don't show, then when you call them they say, "oh, we can't make it today, maybe we can reschedule" horrible experiences with others, but these are GREAT.
