I use a remote gauge and it's pretty accurate, and I have no issue doing it this way. This gives them an idea how much fuel we're burning and allows them to get me on the delivery schedule. With any snow or ice storm, I clear the driveway, our sidewalk and I remember to clear a path to the tank. This last storm (1/25/2026) was brutal, a lot of sleet and freezing rain. The driver showed up as scheduled on Feb 3rd and was thrilled to see a clean spot on the street for him to park the truck, with a clear path to the tank. And hats off to the delivery guys, they're awesome!

They failed to show even though they delivered to a neighbor 300' away on the same street. They rescheduled for 5 days later. Economy Propane called our neighbor 2 days later said they were not coming because there was snow on the street. There is snow on every street in the city. The Federal authorities have issued an emergency order allowing fuel to be delivered on snowy or icy roads. Economy Propane said they didn't care even though our street is pool table flat. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DEPEND ON PROPANE.

Long story short...we finally were able to Purchase the tank from our propane company. Sharp energy was referred to me by a couple of friends. So I gave them a call. I had the pleasure of meeting Richard S. who came out to assess the tank and send us a quote. During his assessment he discovered the tank did not meet industry standards. Fortunately I did not purchase the tank at that point and was able to get the problem solved before I "Bought it" as part of the purchase. Our propane company came out quickly to resolve the issue. A recheck by Sharp found it was still not correct, again our company came out to address it again and again it failed. Richard sent a Sharp tech out who identified a bad grounding site, cleaned it up, retested and this time passed in flying colors! If Sharp is willing to do this before I'm a customer? I can't wait to be one!!! The cost savings is almost staggering between what we were paying vs Sharps pricing. I've got nothing bad to say about our current propane company, they've always been responsive and friendly, but it's nice to know Sharp Energy is too at a lot less money!

Turns out Suburban decided to disconnect my tanks 3 of then because I owed $105.00 dollars. The young lady that took my call indicated that the tanks belonged to the company. I said yes but the 3 hundred gallons of fuel is mine. She didn't care, I have no idea how I owed $105 because I have auto pay, but to get my fuel that is being held hostage I paid by credit card. I was then told it will take several days to remove the valve locks since they have paying customers to service first. So, when the fuel is gone so is Suburban. If you live in Anne Arundel County, I suggest you find a local propane supplier. Also, I can't give a lower rating than"1"

I keep running out of propane--even though they're supposed to monitor it to prevent that. Their billing process is a complete disaster. I'm supposed to be on a monthly billing plan, but all of a sudden, they changed it without notifying me. Then they deducted a grand from my account and blamed me for it. Every time I deal with them, it's a complete mess. And pray to GOD you never have to speak with Sue on the phone--she's by far the rudest, nastiest person you'll ever encounter. She talks to you like you're trash and stupid. I don't think she got the memo that she shouldn't treat customers like garbage. The entire situation with Suburban is an absolute joke. I highly recommend choosing another provider, as this company is completely incompetent. I'm not the only one who thinks so--the delivery drivers tell me horror stories every time they come to my house.

I signed up and paid to have propane delivered to my property on 03/17/2025, as of today 04/01/2025 it is yet to be delivered. I've called numerous times and the customer service reps seem to have a script with detailed excuses they read to their customers for each complaint. My tank is currently under 5% so I've been practically ordering take out since Saturday so as not to run out of propane in the event that we cook using the stove. Did i mention that I'm a new customer and i had to pay upfront for the propane to be delivered?? I'm still weighing my options, but this scam/fraud/grift cannot continue.

I told him that i need my 500 that i paid for, he was in hurry to leave and he did not even provide me with invoice which is by law must be provided to me at the time of delivery. After reviewing before and after gauge reading, it looks they only delivered me 350 gallon not 440 gallon per the email that i received from them. i called AmeriGas customer service today Saturday the February 22nd and i spoke to Vicky (Indian accent) which he was the rudest person i ever deal with, he stated that my tank was filled up to 85% and that is the reason 440 gallon was installed and rest was credited back to my account because they only can fill up 85%, i advised Vicky that is not true, my gage shows 54=540 gallon and based on original gage reading to final they only delivered 350 gallons, he (Vicky) first said my gage is faulty then i advised him that is false statement because i have pictures of before and after, also my entire exterior of my house has surveillance which recorded all conversation and camera showing gauges, then he ask me to submit picture showing my current reading which i emailed. I logged in my account and my account shows they updated my tank current volume at 80%, this is fraud and will be treated as fraud, AmeriGas has no ethics and after reading articles about propane companies, they have stolen billions from customers stating they delivered curtain amount but actually they delivered 100 plus less gallons for 1000's of customers. This is unethical practice and robbery in fullest. I will proceed to fill a complaint with consumer services and hopefully it will be lawsuits against them.
