I was a resident for nearly three years and I just recently left. About a year and a half ago my storage unit was broken into. Totes were ripped open and left perfectly upright, some knocked over and stuff was everywhere. There were footprints on the storage tote lids that didn't match any of the shoes I had had and I was the only one with a key. Brought this up with who was working at the time and he gave little to no help. Just told me to simply file a claim. I had to list every single little item and what it retailed for when I have had some of these items for 10+ years. Some items belonging to family members that they had gave to me that were from at least 30 years ago. Of course I filled it out and sent it in but I never got a response. It was infuriating that I had put my trust into a place that I expected to keep my items safe and was failed. Not only to mention when I signed up my unit was 99 dollars which increased to 275 dollars in a year and a half. It was a struggle to pay after so long. Other than that it was always clean and quiet. Other staff were friendly and kind. If you choose to stay here just be cautious. read more

Great place. The grounds are clean, safe and quiet. The staff has been very helpful too. Two reasons why I'm not giving 5 stars....you HAVE to buy their lock. It's $15 and that's not something I was expecting. Also, they changed my rate even though I was told in person when signing up that my rate would remain the same until I ended my lease. Either than that's it's been great. They also have large cart dollys to assist with moving your things. read more

I've been renting a unit at Extra Space Storage for many, many months now and I've been extremely pleased with not only the accessibility of the location and also of my unit, but the customer service really is top-notch. I've called many times with questions, or to make a payment (you can also set up auto-pay) and have spoken with the same gentleman there on several occasions. He's always been very warm, helpful and personable. There are a lot of options out there for storage, and I researched pretty extensively. Originally I had zero issues, however in January I got notice that my unit's rental rate would be increasing by almost 50%. I called to see if anything could be done and was told by Steve that he would put in a request to lower it to the "market rate" of 128. He assured me that someone would be contacting me to let me know and of course I never heard from anyone. I could go in and get a new unit for less than what I am paying now. Unfortunately because I am out of state, I am stuck with my current unit for now, but when I am back in town in June I will be emptying out the unit. read more

I was in a pinch we had rented from another storage place but the manager of the place was not there to verify my idenity I called the 1800 number and just got blown off. We got a storage unit a 10 by 18 I believe and originally the price was set at 320ish but two months after we got the unit we received a letter in the mail telling us our 10 by 18 that was already too expensive was going up to $405!!! I'm the letter they said it was "due to changes in the market" and I called and they said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything. It's an astronomical rip off. Don't let the nice looking building fool you this place is a money death trap. The only reason I came here in the first place is because they had a deal we're you don't pay anything the first month and I was short on time and money. And I've been in financial trouble and having to pay $405 a month is killing me. read more

We were so fortunate to have found Extra Space Storage when we were preparing to move. We had seen many other storage businesses when we were looking for a space and we were shocked to see that the units were not kept clean and repaired, dark, and did not look securely managed. Prices were much too high for the conditions they kept their units. When we found Extra Space Storage, we were very impressed how Extra Space Storage kept their location as well as, the many cameras, the cleanliness , the professional attendants and excellent management. We were especially impressed with Brandon with his expertise and courteous customer service. He assisted with getting the correct unit for our needs and didn't try to oversell the services. He listened, he asked the appropriate questions to find out exactly what we needed. I personally appreciate the attention to detail he offered. On-site customer service and support is poor. Countless times I have that on-site personnel were unavailable. Yesterday I went there to move stuff into my unit and found that all four dollies were being used so I had to carry a good amount of stuff from the U-Haul Van piece-by-piece to my unit. Some sketchy people in the parking lot had manipulated the dollies and were moving at an oblivious snail's pace. The problem was that I was moving stuff on my own and had to return the U-Haul within 4 hours so not having a dolly available extended the time and labor involved in getting my stuff into my unit. They either should provide more dollys or supervise the use of them so that selfish oblivious people have a time limit on their usage. read more

Avoid this storage place! 1. The pricing is deceptive. We started at fee of $50ish for a small unit, and it wasn't an into offer. After 3 months, we received a small mailed notice that our fee--due to markets conditions (BS)--would raised to $85. To suddenly change the price that significantly is crazy. We talked to associate inside, and they said the corporate over charged us by $11. We should've left after that. 2. Our unit was broken into and thousands of dollars of stuff stolen. Very little apologies or kindness about the situation. Security is lax. Few cameras inside the facility, and the two key pad gates only protect the large units that face the exterior. Hotels have more cameras! 3. When we reported the theft, the facility mentioned that there was a larger break of multiple units in on a different floor a few weeks before. The facility should've let it's renters know so they could check their units in a timely manner. read more

They do what they say. Despite people being dirty, they keep the place clean. Don't leave trash there and be THAT person.

Tammy was great and helped me find my unit and explained everything perfectly. Super helpful! I guess this location is almost brand new and it's very nice. Super clean and very secure. I feel very safe leaving my belongings in one of their units! read more

I probably can't give a fair rating, as I am new to dealing with storage places. What I can say is that on the one hand, the staff has been helpful and friendly; on the other hand, my girlfriend's unit and some others were broken into, and she didn't find out about it until she happened to call them the following month. She was told that they tried to call her at the time but were having telephone problems. They could have e-mailed her or tried to call again later. She's missing some items that meant a lot to her, but at least the thieves didn't take everything. Extra Space also had raised the rent on the unit by $40 a month, but she never got the notice of the increase that they supposedly mailed out. read more
