Pros Place is clean, gated with camera surrounding premises. Cons Some items lost during my term of leasing a space here. When asked if they could provide me some footage from the security camera during that certain period. For some reason they said NOT AVAILABLE. To think that you have to buy your padlock from them, is something concerning. Losing items from your locked space seems to be happening from time to time having observed tenants common complain. The main reason we picked this place for our storage needs is how clean it is and how many of the customers abide by this rule. First off, to enter the facility you need to punch in the code you picked in the keypad for the sliding doors to open. If you have visitors coming in they'll need the code as well as they can't make up their own. The storage facility inside is spacious and they have different sizes available to fit your needs. As for the locks and keys they can either provide it for you or you can bring your own. The steel doors and locks they provide are in decent condition they are not rusty or broken down. It seems they change them as soon as they are old or outdated. The inside is kept cool at all times of the day which is great as it helps with the items in the storage from rusting due to high heat during Summer time. You can rent a space either outside or inside (I think the storages inside are pricier as they are kept in a controlled temperature year round). They have different cart sizes with wheels to use around the facility to transport your stuff from the car to the storage. The carts are located in the lobby for free of use. You can also purchase storing supplies from boxes to tape in the lobby during open hours. There is not always a person in the lobby assisting customers - they seem to just be there when they feel like it, so if you have important questions visit right when they open someone is usually there. This facility is located next to a horse stable and to actually get to the parking lot you have to drive down a little driveway passing the horses. There are plenty of parking in the actual parking lot and if those are full you can always park further out next to the outside storages. This place is a rip off. I called an got a quote on a storage unit but they were closing. Set up time to see it the next afternoon with an appointment The price had already gone up in The last 12 hours. When I Inquired about the free month rent they said now the price would be even higher in order to get the free month. We finally settled hadn't on the orginal cost but when I went to sign papers it was a higher amount. Then they wanted to charge me insurance on the Storage garage that wmoved in yet snd won't till the weekend then we had our own insurance. Didn't matter we had to pay. I didn't get to read the contract said they would send a copy. Never got it. Called and canceled everything told them since I never received my contract I signed it was not legal they canceled my order for a garage storage shed credit my card back and I ran. Horrible customer service horrible electronic locks . Locked out of their electronic lock due to faulty lock. Again third time in 4 days. Manager opened lock last time, replaced battery lock then said hurry up I'm off. Said sorry no tech here. Came back today locked out again. Always giving them my hard earned money. Their service has been horrible the entire time. A guy next-door drilled holes into my stuff I reported that nothing done. They power washed under Door to keep the rodents out they ruined my boxes with their high-pressure washer nothing done. They did repairs on the roof dropped stuff all over my stuff, wood splinters and debris reported that once again nothing done.They will give you an introductory offer and then they will raise your rates by astronomical amounts and say oh well. From getting the unit to closing out the unit, I had nothing less than a great experience. When I got the unit, it was a last minute nessecity and they came to my rescue. I was even impressed that they do security daily...I embarrassingly did not lock my unit up as thoroughly as I should have and received a call the next day. During close out, I had the system on automatic pay, and they were able to void it for me since I got out on time. Always good at answering my questions and being helpful. Let's just say I've been to better locations of extra space. This location has a lot of false advertising they do. We came and had Julie sign up my friend seeing they had promotional signs every where and online saying 1 month free if you bring a friend. Julie initially said 1 month was free. When we got back in the office to do paperwork suddenly it became no we can't honor that. You can only get 50% off. I sent in calls wanting to speak to someone higher up. Never got a call back. Whenever I call Julie sounds like she hates her life and is miserable. She's never helpful or doesn't go out of her way to make sure I'm happy as a customer. The units I pay a lot of money for constantly have issues. I've had termites, holes in the roof, water damage, etc. you would think with all the money they make they would take better care of the place. I can't wait to leave extra space. Extortion at it's best. I started at $119/month for a 10x10, climate controlled space - apparently that rate was only good for the first 3 months. I missed the date to pay-in-full and lock in that rate, so they increased it to $137/month. Now after a year, they sent a notice in the mail 35-days prior to my rate increase that it will be $157/month. This is a 31% increase from a year ago. EXTORTION. Nonetheless, I played nicely and offered to pay my original $137/monthly rate for a whole year, pay in full (and offered to waive the 13th month complimentary) to which they said it's "impossible" because I'm already within my 30-day notice of the rate increase. So without notice of the increase, I had to have paid in full. I called corporate, they had a district manager call me, he simply said my options are to move out or pay the increase. I work in sales, I know exactly what they are doing. I'd rather buy a shed at Home Depot for $800 than do business with these crooks. I tried reading the fine print and multiple people would tell me different things. Your best bet is to pay in full no matter what. Even from the previous reviews, you saw that their bookkeeping isn't the best. You get a different answer every time. read more

This is locate south of Artesia Boulevard from Studebaker, right by the train tracks. It is good facility since they have multiple units; it's clean and secure. The only thing that is inconvenient is the second floor for storage units. It is somewhat difficult for somebody that is elderly because you have to go up the stairs to get to the storage unit. There is an elevator available to bring your stuff down and a flat dolly but no passengers are allowed in the elevator. I would highly recommend bringing water, wear old clothes during the move, set an alarm on you phone to go off every hour, and wipees/hand sanitizers. It gets hot in the unit, you lose track on time being there, and you get dirty in the move. Overall a good storage units. read more

This storage facility without asking or us present broke our lock opened our unit to change it to their new digital lock system that you need to download an app and use your phone to open the unit. We can't even put an additional lock on our storage unit to know its not been opened (like if there was a broken lock). I know we are a digital era but that is not more secure for me at all and I am in my 30s I could only imagine the older generations feeling on this. I am going to now have to move all of my things out of this lot and I haven't even been there for a year. read more

After 4 months renting their 10x10 at an internet rate of $124 per month, they raised my monthly rent to $144 per month. I had used public storage to store my belongings once and they never raised the rate on my for over 2 years. I do think that they purposely give you a lower rate to get you in and comfortable and then raise it thinking people will just pay and not want to deal with moving things out, we not me, I am getting my shit out of there..... This place is the BEST! Here are the reasons why: 1. LOCATION! Very conveniently located off the 605 freeway. 2. ACCESS HOURS. You can access your storage through electric gate from 6am to 10pm. 3. DRIVE UP UNITS. The ground floor units are all drive-up. Very convenient. 4. FRIENDLY STAFF. Very friendly! I ended up only needing them for about four months. Mainly to park my car while in the middle of moving. These make excellent garages for those who don't have the space at home. Nice staff but record keeping could use some work.... We rented for a short time pending my daughters move to Colorado. Setting up was fine, smooth, pleasant staff. After telling three different people we were vacating, I was told we could pay up on the day of. Went the night before to add some more stuff to the unit, and we were locked out until we--guess what--paid up. I was out of town and my daughter had to pay. Now, we had movers scheduled early the next morning and if she hadn't stopped by that evening, the movers and us would have been waiting until the office opened. Not good! So our account is paid up, we've cleared out. Confirmed via phone that all is well. Since then, I've gotten two calls (two different people) and a reminder email about my next month payment. Seriously? If I need a storage unit in the future I'll most likely go elsewhere. This was a frustrating experience. read more
