Rent at other businesses. The staff is nice. The storage rent is cheap. But what's the problem? No accountability. Corporate management will not answer voicemail messages. This business has a BBB (Better Business Bureau) logo and claims that it is accredited when it is not. Unreliable, unsavory business practices. What a shame. The staff is very nice. I never thought I would recommend this: for disputes with Stor-It, it's probably best to file a small claims court case and have the county sheriff retrieve your stuff for $85 instead of waiting for corporate to get back to you. Better yet, it's probably best to avoid all of Stor-It's many locations. I was a customer of Stor-It who really loved the paying online system. But I got a lot of hassle when I tried to end my storage services. I got all kinds of excuses of delays from Stor-It. Overall, an unprofessional ending: consumer be warned. read more

The Stor-It Self Storage in Downey is amazing! The facility is very clean and safe at all times. George, Rebecca, and their staff always go out of their way to be extra helpful, kind and courteous. Further, it helps that they sell storage supplies (in case we forget our own) and give us access to a dolly whenever we need it.
