After reading everyone's comments, I am actually blessed to have had these 3 workers, Jr (in…read morecharge), Jay, and the kindest elder gentleman named Raymond, showed up to my home two days ago, a call that was made in urgency and within 2hrs from calling, while I was stressed and unable to unload my UHAUL to avoid having a stroked doing this all myself, they showed up and finished everything under 4hrs. So, if you want the right workers to come help from AMS and you want it done right, you might want to request these 3 workers who work amazing together and were very careful with putting my items in my home for me. Many blessings to you three and AMS DOES have great workers, at least I can attest for these 3 employees. For the record, I am retired military 20yrs with multiples moves during my active service and they sure as heck did a better job than the moving companies the military contracted with!

Do not EVER use AMS Moving. I had used them twice in the past 6 years in Dallas and experienced a…read morevery professional move both times. The price was fair and reasonable. I had quite a bit to pack and move in June 2025, and moved into a three story townhome. Considering that, I felt $3500 was a fair price. Last week, after downsizing quite a bit, doing most of my own packing (much of my stuff had never been unpacked and was still in AMS boxes from last year., I called them again based on my experiences in previous moves Unfortunately I didn't read recent reviews. They offered a "complimentary" kitchen packing, which I accepted. (It's not complimentary!) The crew of three men and one gal showed up- gal in charge. One guy was great, the other two did t speak English and were like two of the three stooges. Laughing. Goofing around. Boss lady stayed in the truck and listened to something with headphones for hours. Then she decides to start packing the kitchen after 5 hours which ran the clock even further. Two Stooges Moe and Curly dropped my sofa, damaged the frame. They continued to mess around. Unloading was even worse.. I don't want to pay for someone to screw on lampshades. I need assistance to MOVE boxes and furniture. The guy who was hard working left between loading and unloading. In short: instead of the quoted price of $3500, I was charged $7500! I called customer service and they knocked $400 off labor because the fourth guy wasn't there to help unload. The movers broke a mahogany dining room chair, damaged my buffet, sofa (then tried to hide the damage) and a few other items. I will never ever recommend them again, nor will I use them to move again. Horrible customer service from Troy, horrible experience with YaYa and her two stooges. They acted like college kids helping move for beer and pizza! Hideous!

From the moment I reached out, especially her she was responsive, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me resolve my issue. The representative took the time to listen carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure they fully understood my concern before offering a solution. What stood out most was their professionalism and friendly attitude made me feel valued as a customer rather than just another case to close. The issue was resolved efficiently, and they even followed up to ensure everything was working as expected. Overall, the level of care and attention I received exceeded my expectations. Great customer service like this makes a lasting impression, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

"Client satisfaction is our primary focus" and "Professional packing services"…read more- straight from their website. Here is our story: Our family had a very disappointing experience with "Community Moving" while relocating my elderly parents closer to us in Lexington, Virginia. What was supposed to be a carefully planned move for two elderly parents instead became a stressful and chaotic experience that left us dealing with damaged belongings and days of additional work to sort through improperly packed boxes. We chose this company not only because it is owned by veterans, but because of the company's mission and values. These meant a great deal to my family. This was not a typical move. My dad is retired military and this is their 17th and final move. My parents are now both in their 80s, and the relocation was meant to bring them into a safer home where we could help care for them. Because of that, we spent a great deal of time speaking with the company beforehand about the size of the move and the need for careful handling of antiques, heirlooms, and fragile items. We also provided photos and videos of the home so the estimate could be as accurate as possible. Despite those preparations, the move itself was far more chaotic than we expected. The truck plan changed shortly before the move, and later, additional trucks and packing materials had to be acquired by the company. Packing did not match what we had discussed ahead of time. Some fragile items and antiques were packed in ways that caused damage, and several pieces of furniture and household items arrived broken, stress fractured and in poor condition. The labeling of boxes was also inconsistent, which made unpacking extremely difficult. Many boxes contained mixed items from different rooms or had little description of the room or contents, which meant nearly every box had to be opened and sorted before anything could be put away. Because of the condition of the packing and delivery, we had to spend several additional days reorganizing the house with the help of friends and family. This was particularly challenging given my parents' age and health, and it added significant stress during what was already an emotional transition. We did communicate our concerns to management and provided documentation, photos and videos of the issues we discovered during unpacking. While conversations took place, the outcome did not fully resolve the situation for our family. This review reflects our family's direct experience with this move and the condition of items as they were unpacked. Moving elderly parents and transporting a lifetime of belongings requires careful planning, clear communication, and attention to detail. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone planning a large or complex move ask very detailed questions about packing methods, labeling procedures, and truck capacity before choosing a moving company. We did, but "Community Moving" fell short of our expectation. At present time, we are waiting on some resolutions with the company. We will be happy to update the review once this has been accomplished.

Compassion Movers came to our rescue, they had to come back with an engine lift after a couple of days but they got it lifted and mounted on the stand that it came with. By the end of the day I was told it would have to be Sunday instead. This created some significant problems but I was willing to work with them. On Sunday, I was told it was going to have to be moved to Tuesday. It just so happened that I was going to be out of town on Tuesday and couldn't receive the second part of the move. I was told that would be rescheduled at my convenience. The bulk of the move did actually happen on Tuesday. When the day came for the second part of the move to happen, which was only a bed and a grandfather clock, I got put off again, from Saturday to Sunday. And on Sunday, right at the end of the agreed-upon window, I got a call asking for more money to complete the job. I was informed that because of my inability to receive the second part of the move on Tuesday, I was going to have to pay more. No matter that I was available to receive it Saturday, Sunday, and even Monday if that had been an option. The delay was not due to any action on my part and was actually very stressful for me. Yet I was at fault for not being available on Tuesday at the second location. My big mistake was not reading enough reviews before hiring this company. Although they have some good reviews, and I have no doubt they can do a good job, several other people have reported having issues similar to what I experienced. Had I seen those accounts I probably would have looked for someone else to do the move. I do not recommend this company for your moving needs.

On arrival day, the crew showed up with all the equipment we needed, and we were given clear instructions before the move. Heavy furniture was properly wrapped, and fragile boxes were loaded separately to prevent damage. The unloading was just as streamlined as the loading, and each box was put where we said. In addition to making our bed and dining table, the movers also helped us reassemble them before they left. All items were received without incident, and no extra charges were applied at the end. They were honest, professional, and knew what they were doing. I would certainly use their services again!! They were professional, timely, and worked hard!!!!

Our bakery relocation needed more planning than a regular household move because we had equipment,…read moreshelves, supplies, and display cases. The movers inspected the commercial mixer, refrigeration units, counters, and baking equipment before loading. They used protective wrapping for the display cases so the glass and edges would not get scratched. Shelving units were carefully disassembled, and the hardware was stored in labeled containers. Smaller baking tools and inventory were packed in separate cartons rather than mixed. The new bakery location was still under construction, so some of our equipment needed temporary storage. The storage arrangement gave us time to complete the remaining work at the new place. During unloading, one shelf bracket was not immediately visible, which worried us for a moment. It was later found inside the labeled hardware box, so nothing was actually missing. The delivery team came on the scheduled date for the final placement. They positioned the heavier equipment where our contractor had marked the floor plan. The move helped us reopen without a major interruption to our work. For a business relocation with many moving parts, the process stayed controlled and well-organized.

He was very professional, thorough, organized, and kept in touch with me leading up to our moving day to ensure we remained completely in sync about details (big and small) that were important to us. In addition, he was very accommodating when I called to ask if he could also pick up a washer & dryer from Home Depot that I'd purchased at the last minute. On the day of the move, as promised, Ian let me know when they were on their way. They arrived right on time and didn't waste a minute from start to finish. They were careful to provide additional padding and protection to several pieces that we failed to pre-pack as securely as needed, and they took extra precaution not only to protect the items they were moving but all surrounding walls, doorways and floors as well. Ours was an afternoon move, and it was excessively hot and humid that day! Despite the stifling heat, their positive attitudes and commitment to accommodate each request made for a really pleasant day! (Who doesn't love a low-stress move, especially with people who clearly love what they do?!) A few days later when I was running out of time to assemble several pieces of furniture that I'd planned to tackle myself, I called again to see if Ian would be able to help. He quickly got right on it and did a fantastic job - and at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a mover or delivery service in the DFW area, Coral Packing & Delivery is the place to call. I have no doubt that Ian and his team will take exceptional care of you!
