A terrible experience! Please do not make the same mistake I made, and give your hard-earned money…read moreto a company like this. Schedule a move for a SINGLE BEDROOM and a few boxes. There was a total of about 6 pieces of furniture and 5 boxes. I was quoted a rate of $179 an hour and about a two hour move. High rate but seemed reasonable. On the phone, I was made aware of a travel fee of an hour and that was it. It took two movers two hours to get the furniture and boxes into the truck to head to the drop off location. Mover employees were not bad, but they wrapped everything (mind you this was not communicated to me in terms of time cost nor in terms of product cost).... and it took way too long to wrap and load. Once we got to the drop off location (about a 10 minute drive from the pick up location) I was told to pay before unload. I was fine with that, what I was not comfortable with was the fee. Over $1,000 for a SINGLE BEDROOM AND A FEW BOXES. I told the gentleman driving the truck that it was insane and he got his manager on the phone because I was pissed. The manger got on the phone, and I explained that "I do not care what you say, I'll pay what is needed but I will blew you up everywhere. This is not true to the pricing I was quoted, the estimated full rate was just over $300, and I was shocked this information adds to over $1,000 to pay for A SINLGE BEDROOM.." by the end of the conversation I got a rate of $159 per hour, but overall the price didn't decrease by more than $60." I ultimately paid and told the movers to hurry up and get out of my house. The truck was unloaded in 30 minutes but I wasted 30minutes on the phone speaking to the manager. Overall a SINGLE BEDROOM (AND I MEAN ONE BEDROOM OF FURNITURE) WITH 5 BOXES COST OVER $800... for really no reason. Added UNDISCLOSED FEES INCLUDED A FUEL FEE and a PACKING FEE (which you may not ask for, BUT IT WAS STILL charged). I have moved many times, this is the worst, slowest, and most expensive moving company I have ever used -- across multiple states. A disaster times 1000... THIS COMPANY IS NOT TRANSPARENT AT ALL WITH PRICING. They do not disclose what is a part of the labor fee (originally $179), mislabel your deposit (as it is not included in the final bill), and refuse to take adequate responsibility for mislabeling of moving time. I will blow them up everywhere because their business practices take advantage of others and do not make communities better. Instead they take advantage of everyone, and I will be writing emails to multiple sponsors of their business claiming terrible business practices. They are so bad and deserve no one's money, and future services.

From the moment I reached out, especially her she was responsive, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me resolve my issue. The representative took the time to listen carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure they fully understood my concern before offering a solution. What stood out most was their professionalism and friendly attitude made me feel valued as a customer rather than just another case to close. The issue was resolved efficiently, and they even followed up to ensure everything was working as expected. Overall, the level of care and attention I received exceeded my expectations. Great customer service like this makes a lasting impression, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

"Client satisfaction is our primary focus" and "Professional packing services"…read more- straight from their website. Here is our story: Our family had a very disappointing experience with "Community Moving" while relocating my elderly parents closer to us in Lexington, Virginia. What was supposed to be a carefully planned move for two elderly parents instead became a stressful and chaotic experience that left us dealing with damaged belongings and days of additional work to sort through improperly packed boxes. We chose this company not only because it is owned by veterans, but because of the company's mission and values. These meant a great deal to my family. This was not a typical move. My dad is retired military and this is their 17th and final move. My parents are now both in their 80s, and the relocation was meant to bring them into a safer home where we could help care for them. Because of that, we spent a great deal of time speaking with the company beforehand about the size of the move and the need for careful handling of antiques, heirlooms, and fragile items. We also provided photos and videos of the home so the estimate could be as accurate as possible. Despite those preparations, the move itself was far more chaotic than we expected. The truck plan changed shortly before the move, and later, additional trucks and packing materials had to be acquired by the company. Packing did not match what we had discussed ahead of time. Some fragile items and antiques were packed in ways that caused damage, and several pieces of furniture and household items arrived broken, stress fractured and in poor condition. The labeling of boxes was also inconsistent, which made unpacking extremely difficult. Many boxes contained mixed items from different rooms or had little description of the room or contents, which meant nearly every box had to be opened and sorted before anything could be put away. Because of the condition of the packing and delivery, we had to spend several additional days reorganizing the house with the help of friends and family. This was particularly challenging given my parents' age and health, and it added significant stress during what was already an emotional transition. We did communicate our concerns to management and provided documentation, photos and videos of the issues we discovered during unpacking. While conversations took place, the outcome did not fully resolve the situation for our family. This review reflects our family's direct experience with this move and the condition of items as they were unpacked. Moving elderly parents and transporting a lifetime of belongings requires careful planning, clear communication, and attention to detail. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone planning a large or complex move ask very detailed questions about packing methods, labeling procedures, and truck capacity before choosing a moving company. We did, but "Community Moving" fell short of our expectation. At present time, we are waiting on some resolutions with the company. We will be happy to update the review once this has been accomplished.

From the very first conversation with Adam, I was incredibly impressed. I spoke with multiple moving companies, at least 5 before Adam, and knew the second I connected with him that their company and team was different. He is down-to-earth, honest, friendly, and proud of his business and work. He believes in building relationships and being transparent throughout the whole process, start to finish. Adam took the time to visit with me at my home and inspected my belongings BEFORE quoting me, none of the blind 2-minute quoting a lot of other companies offer. He also spent a good hour talking with me about my circumstances, wants, and needs without any kind of expressed commitment from me..and that meant so much to me. It also gave me the opportunity to learn a lot more about the company. Hearing their backstory and how the company came about, as well as the many ways they strive to be fair while also helping out those in need as they are able, is phenomenal and something worth hearing if you have the time to listen and chat with Adam or Claudia!! Their team deserves your business and backing..especially because they whole-heartedly believe in serving the community and those in need through their work! They also believe in quality and dependable work. My move was scheduled at a very challenging time for both Adam and Claudia. Claudia had been in the hospital for over a week (where she still is) and Adam had spent a large portion of his time there..and yet he still made sure to be there on my move date..he along with 3 of their guys! Despite having very minimal sleep the night and days before..despite having so much more to worry about and a very understandable excuse to put their scheduled moves on hold or all together cancel..he still made sure they were there for me..not only me, every other move that past week as well! For these many reasons, I highly recommend this awesome company with no reservation!!! They are good people that I am rooting for loud and clear!! They are awesome!! If you're needing movers, don't hesitate..contact them NOW!! Thank you so much for taking care of my belongings and getting me moved so quickly and efficiently!!! Y'all rock!!

From the moment the guys arrived at our old home until the moment they unloaded and unwrapped the last piece of furniture at our new home I can say it was completely seamless, and we have a LOT of -ish! They packed items we hadn't packed with no hesitation or question. They went ABOVE & BEYOND making sure furniture was placed in the correct room, that it was positioned how we wanted it and even moved a few HEAVY items a few times just to make sure it was to our liking. Did I mention they took beds down AND set them up at the new house? Upstairs AND downstairs? The day was extremely long but they never showed any sign of being tired, they kept right on unloading, going up & down at BOTH homes too!!! Bottom line, my husband & I would recommend AM Moving Company HANDS DOWN to anyone needing professional moving services. Best of luck guys!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY -- ESPECIALLY DONNIE!!! This was hands down one of the worst business…read moretransactions I've ever been involved in. Completely dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful from start to finish. I referred Donnie a long-distance move for my clients, and from the very beginning it was a mess. He rushed through the phone call, failed to gather basic and necessary information, and quoted my clients $1,500, which turned out to be wildly inaccurate. When the movers actually showed up, the price magically jumped to $2,300 -- and even after paying that inflated amount, they still didn't move everything. My clients were forced to rent a U-Haul themselves just to finish the move. Absolutely unacceptable. Communication was nonexistent. At pickup, the movers couldn't even give a rough estimate of when the items would be delivered. My clients' belongings were left in limbo for days, and it took countless phone calls just to get a vague update on where their items were and when they might arrive. This level of disorganization is shocking for a company that claims to be professional. On top of all that, Donnie personally put in writing that I would receive a referral fee. When I followed up to resolve the issue professionally, he completely dodged responsibility -- ignoring messages, blocking my calls, and refusing to communicate at all. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about his character and how this company operates. I was told my concerns were "escalated to customer service," yet I've heard absolutely nothing since. No follow-up. No accountability. No resolution. This company is misleading, unreliable, and operates with zero integrity. They bait customers with low pricing, change terms last minute, and disappear when problems arise. PLEASE BEWARE -- save yourself the stress, money, and frustration and stay far away from this company.

He was very professional, thorough, organized, and kept in touch with me leading up to our moving day to ensure we remained completely in sync about details (big and small) that were important to us. In addition, he was very accommodating when I called to ask if he could also pick up a washer & dryer from Home Depot that I'd purchased at the last minute. On the day of the move, as promised, Ian let me know when they were on their way. They arrived right on time and didn't waste a minute from start to finish. They were careful to provide additional padding and protection to several pieces that we failed to pre-pack as securely as needed, and they took extra precaution not only to protect the items they were moving but all surrounding walls, doorways and floors as well. Ours was an afternoon move, and it was excessively hot and humid that day! Despite the stifling heat, their positive attitudes and commitment to accommodate each request made for a really pleasant day! (Who doesn't love a low-stress move, especially with people who clearly love what they do?!) A few days later when I was running out of time to assemble several pieces of furniture that I'd planned to tackle myself, I called again to see if Ian would be able to help. He quickly got right on it and did a fantastic job - and at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a mover or delivery service in the DFW area, Coral Packing & Delivery is the place to call. I have no doubt that Ian and his team will take exceptional care of you!
