To think I would have considered renting a unit here! Not with all the time I had to waste just to get out of one! Then I explain my frustrations to the worker, and she could care less! I have been in customer service for 22 years and counting and in management. This is a disgrace of a facility! The new system DOES not work when you win on auction sites. I've had a few storage units in different areas in central NJ in the last 7 years and this one has…read moreworked out the best. The entrance/exit is on a residential road that's not busy, huge driveways made it easy to pull the moving trucks in and out and the road is not busy so that was always stress free. (Compared to a storage facility on the highway). Units are climate controlled and the price is fair for the size. They keep the place very clean. Loading dock is a good height for either my pickup truck or the moving truck we used too. Plenty of big heavyweight carts available(free, and they're always available, you don't even have to ask) to help move stuff from your vehicle to your unit. This helps a lot when moving furniture. And a nice big elevator as you would expect from a storage facility with multiple floors. Staff was always nice and you can set up automatic payments.

Satellite Self Storage discounted pricing for the first two months was wonderful. The continuing price for a 10 x 10 is less than anywhere else in the Middletown area. The facilities are clean, bright and easily accessible. My unit is on the second floor inside and easy to get to. Rosie and Debbie, who work in the office, are professional, personable and helpful. My one challenge so far was with plugging in a lamp for my unit while I spent time there to go through things. Rosie and Debbie told me I could use their extension cord while I am accessing my unit. Satellite Self Storage also provides a 14' box truck to rent, but only to rental unit customers. I will be using this truck this week and will update my review afterwards. The pricing on this truck is incredible and alot less than any place else!
