Best moving experience we've ever had. We recently moved from New York to California, and we did a ton of research before ultimately selecting UMEX. We chose UMEX because it had high ratings and good reviews across platforms. Uri also contacted us right after we submitted an inquiry and quickly got us a proposal, which was competitive with the other proposals we received. Our biggest concern initially was that it was one of the smaller, less well-known moving companies, but this proved to not be an issue at all. Ultimately, it came down to feeling very comfortable with Uri and his excellent communication as well as the reviews from other customers. Once we told Uri that we decided to go forward with UMEX, Uri remained communicative and told us to contact him at any time if we ever had any questions or concerns. On move out day, his team was at our building early. There were 4 guys, and it was impressive how well and quickly they moved everything. We generally packed everything aside from clothes on hangers, art, and furniture, but there are always a few stray things here and there that need to get packed, and they were diligent in doing so. Overall, the process was smooth and they finished with time to spare! On move in day, Uri sent Lupe and George from New York who helped us move out (both were wonderful), and 2 additional local guys also helped. They finished in an impressive 2.5 hours. Most importantly, everything made it in one piece and in the exact condition in which we sent it, including fragile art. Not even a broken mug.
