My favorite car wash shares the lot with the storage, so I think they're hand in hand kind of business partners. The car wash is the kind where you put your quarters in and the time counts down. You provide all the labour. Which I'm fine with. It's what I prefer. Here for about $8 I'm able to do what I need to do to get my car as clean as I like it. Though I hate to say the "Spot free rinse" isn't as spot free as I'd like it to be. read more

He greets and treats you with respect, ready to answer all your questions and help you with your particular needs. This is concerning a storage unit at 4319 Duhme Rd. Saint Petersburg, Fl. My experience may be different than others because it was all done per telephone. Fist I made a call to this establishments call center and talked to Tak, he displayed complete knowledge of his job, was VERY well versed, and treated me with respect to the unusual needs for my son that has been displaced after serving years in the military - yes, there is still the aftermath of our troops from war - he made me feel like he actually cared. Kudos to TAK! Tak referred me to the manager in the area that I was interested in and texted me her number. I had concerns about calling because usually with most businesses you have to leave a call back number and pray that they will call you back when you can answer the phone - otherwise it is just phone tag, ughh! That did not happen! The manager, Sandie, answered the phone will a friendly voice and, after introductions, informed me that she was well aware of the situation - amazing, it had been 3 minutes since I talked to Tak - WHAT! Sandie continued to spend time with me, per phone, and assuredly answered every question with respect and confidence and even some humor was thrown in ( thank you Sandie!!). She showed just enough professionalism to know she was in charge without being inhuman. Sandie went above what her job entailed. I even called BACK with more questions and she answered again with the same consistent demeaner. Sandie was extremely patient, conscientious, accommodating, even a little heartfelt -that meant a lot! KUDOS!! Thank you Sandie! In my career I have always been in a management position. At one point I had over 40 employees beneath me. I do have high standards. As someone who appreciates customer reviews, I really dislike having to post negative ones but this one is very well warranted. When I came in to see Wesley Noland at Extra Space Storage I asked him several times a pointed question about the total monthly cost and he assured me that it would never exceed $42.80 per month. Even after I specifically expressed my concern about rates changing he assured me again it would stay at $42.80. That was back in July. Now, in December, my rate has been hiked up to $49.22. I feel like I was blatantly lied to by Wesley. After calling him and asking him about the rate change he said that he never told me that and said that in my contract all rates are subject to change. That is definitely not what I was told when I was booking the unit, my mom was witness to the whole conversation with Wesley and can attest to this information. Buyer beware when signing up with extra space storage, they will tell you false information just to get your business. read more

We needed a storage space for a short time in between homes. Extra Space Storage to the rescue! We found a great rate in a very convenient spot. Wesley was great - he's very personable and helpful. It's a shame we only needed the space for a few weeks - as it was a pleasure doing business with this company. The site is well maintained and they're currently doing some upgrades and renovation.
