It is clear that the crew actually performing the work is NOT well trained or professional. I do not recommend this company for anything related to packing or moving. Despite moving only a one-bedroom equivalent --with all items prepped and no heavy furniture other than a glass table and three bookcases (we left everything else to the new owner) --the job was significantly padded. I was quoted a 'conservative' 4 hours but was charged for 5. When I complained that the pace was unreasonable for such a small load, the company refused to budge. The most upsetting part was the many scratches surface damege to our baby grand piano I found later. (The piano move was charged separately.) It was in like-new condition, but Leo's failed to cover it completly with blankets, with part of lacquer finish in direct contact with shrink wrap. It is now showing some lacquer surfaces are damaged. I later learned they handle high-volume piano moves for local universities, which explains their 'quantity over quality' approach. Leo's told me they were specialized in moving pianos. That was the main reason I used them, but got burned. If you value your instruments, do not use Leo's. Call a local piano store and hire a dedicated professional instead.

On October 18,2025 I received my shipment which was also packed and stored by vanexpress moving company. During delivery three (3) items were damaged beyond repair being: An LG 55" tv Model OLED55C8PUA Made 11/2018 A 58" Glass and wood with chrome desk A 49" full length mirror All of this had a fair value of $569 in good condition after consulting. All items were either broken beyond either due to the loading, storage, and unpacking which Adam Vick had taken videos of and knew all items to be in good condition. Originally we were told maybe a week to have the claim settled, it is now four weeks and the only thing the person in New Jersey would say was they would send a note to the company they filed a claim with. (Of which we are never copied on which we questioned but never got an answer. These items were reported by Adam on the same day (October 18) in the form of a claim Adam states. As of today, we have never received a copy of this claim after questioning Adam and his head office in New Jersey. To date or as of today, we asked this six (6) specific times. The day after the shipment and a couple of days after this we also asked Adam if he was sure if all items were unloaded, my sons' office chair as he needed it to do his homework. We received no answer about it, so we engaged the head office in New Jersey. After eight (8) days the chair appeared, and we questioned Adam if anything else was missing. He said no but we told him we were skeptical because we had to escalate the issue just to find the chair. He said no and we also asked his colleagues in New Jersey to please see if they could verify as we were still unpacking. We were told the same staff would be on the other end unloading. We were also told that the trucks would arrive at the new location between 8-10am. When they didn't show up by 10am we called and were told they were packing the trucks and would be leaving shortly. The trucks did not leave for several more hours. All communication with the company from here on out was prompted by us otherwise we would not hear from the company. The trucks arrived well after 7pm and with a totally different crew. They were helpful but we were told they needed to leave by midnight to get back. It was a rush to unload the trucks We received items that did not belong to us and several items were missing. No attempt was made by the company to retrieve the items we did not own nor was any attempt made to our knowledge to find our missing items. Again our main concern was lack of communication after the packing was done, the late arrival, and the lack of effort to find our missing items. My father and mother also GAVE the movers a lot of very nice furniture for free. We treated them with kindness and they took advantage of us. When we got to our new house, there were multiple electronic items missing from our moving boxes... Including an iPhone 7 and two Bose home speakers and multiple other small electronic items. The items missing totalled over 1500 dollars. The iPhone was in my drawer in my room as a back up phone. When I realized it was not with the other things in the box of my drawer belongings, I immediately tracked it. It was off highway 59 in Houston and someone RENAMED it "Maria's iPhone" . My name is Ariel... I locked the phone and it sent a message to the phone saying it was lost and to call a number I provided hoping that the person who had my phone had a heart to give it back. They turned the phone off ( or completely swiped it) and I never got the location again. We called FOXX movers multiple times explaining the situation. We left message after message and no one ever returned our calls. We had to chalk it up as a complete loss.
