DON'T COME HERE if you expect your belongings to be stored securely and privately. Do come here if you are a thief and would like an easy target to social engineer so you can get sneak peeks at the contents of their customers storage units. The storage facility manager cut the lock on my unit to allow someone to "deliver" [something?] to it without calling me and asking first. Explicitly in breach of their own contract. After realizing that the contents of my unit didn't seem in line with what was being delivered, they checked the guys paperwork and realized it was the wrong unit. Maybe. They gave me new locks, but seem to completely miss the fact that 1. Per their own contract, they are not permitted to access the unit for reasons like this. 2. It's not acceptable to cut someone's unit open because some random delivery person says they need to put something in it. read more

Dor (or Dar?) made my experience extremely pleasant. She really went out out of her way to make me feel like I needed to rent a unit here. And so I did.:) I have rented spaces in other facilities but I have to say I have never had such a personable, professional experience. There were other ladies during the 2 times I was there that I have to say, were not as nice. So if you cal, ask for Dar (Dor?:)). The facility itself is very clean and new. read more

Ms.Linda and Ms. Susan were outstanding! This was my first time renting a storage, they were so helpful from the beginning till end. The facility is super clean, I was on the 4th floor by the elevator great access! You have carts,dolly's you can use to move your stuff from your car to the storage. Also is climate controlled which I love! All my stuffs were intact no smell whatsoever! Which I was so surprised! The facility is VERY secure they have cameras everywhere, as well to get anywhere you need a code,each person and each floor has a different code. I truly would come again if I ever need a storage again, and I would truly recommend anyone to store their stuff with them. Thank you so much Community Self Storage! read more

Horrible service, I returned from a work trip to get clothes from unit and was shot to the fact that my payment was not processed and was sent back to my account and I was given no notice when my payment was due a month ago that I needed to pay them for that month. read more

I was searching for a 5x10 unit and called the number listed to the storage company to find out the hours and pricing because sometimes the posting is misleading as this one is, The rep told me I would pay them the on line special for 39.95 and a 20.00 administration fee. So I jumped in my car and drive over to fill out the paperwork and the woman at the desk tells me I MUST pay for the renter's insurance in order to have the unit. I explain to her I have renters insurance and this will apply towards any unit I rent. She tells me I can't use my own, I told her it's not listed anywhere on the site and when I called the rep told me only the 39.95 +20.00 administration fee, so I guess this is how they trap you once you arrive. I declined and walked out...thank goodness I am not pressed to obtain a unit otherwise I would have been forced to take the offer and pay more then what it's worth. ,.. continuing my search. read more

I have been using Eldridge storage for two years. I highly recommend this as a place for storage. Vicki has been so gracious in getting us moved in and now moved out. The unit was clean and in a great location. The carts for moving items are located right by the side doors, all you have to do is pull up and unload. The inside has always been super clean. The lighting is awesome as you find your unit. We were on the second floor and the elevator was always clean and working. If you are looking for a place, go and see for yourself. You will be glad to use Eldridge as your storage unit. read more

Easy in. Easy Out. Clean. Well maintained. I feel safe when I am there moving things in and out. The Wine Storage is well set up. I have been treated very professionally in the nine months I have been using their facilities. I can't compare the pricing... because the convenient location was what sold me. Community Self Storage is awesome. From the moment I got my unit here, I got a price match which made it within my budget and it's veRy clean. Everyone is super nice. Last night after work hours I had an emergency regarding my keys and an elevator shaft, Susan came out and talked to me and made some calls. Today the owner also reached out to me and they were both able to go out of their way to help resolve my issues. I'm so glad there's a manager on site and that they are so lovely. They have my business as long as I'll need a a unit and to anyone looking for a space I definitely recommend them. read more

Secure, well-designed and well-maintained facility with reasonable prices and professional service.

All of these type facilities are nice. When I moved things into here a year or so ago, Tom ran the place and understood business. Now it's run by a group of crabby old women with bad makeup who don't understand much about business except taking payments so don't expect anything outside of the operation manual nor to be treated like a valued customer. Their preferred customer is someone who just comes for stuff, gives them money and doesn't bother them with any questions. read more

Rented a uhaul from this place. The lady operating this place was nice, but didn't have the truck. Another customer was there asking where his truck was too. It appears that Uhaul, which this business contracts with, double or triple booked the trucks. So there were none available. I would not use Uhaul again. read more

Stay far, far away from the Community Self Storage onEldridge. Unbelievable terrible experience here just now. My home was flooded two days ago and need to move some belongings out. Called Eldridge Self-Storage first. They are an established business location for 14+ years but prices were average-to-high. So called the 1 year-old Community Self Storage across the road on Eldridge. They were half the price and told me it was because they are only 25% of capacity and need the business. Came in the next morning to view their spaces and needed to get an estimate to submit to my insurance company that will be paying for the storage. Terry was very helpful and cheerful and had written me an estimate out so I could submit it to my insurance for approval and was going to help me get in ASAP. We were almost done and asked that they simply add the date before I submit when Tom Hollywood, the location manager, who had already started interrupting us rudely, started yelling at me telling me they couldn't do that and violently ripped the finished contract out from underneath my hands and ripped it up and told me to get out. I was honestly afraid he would get violent and wondered if he might even be intoxicated. I am appalled by his behavior and shocked they would treat new potential customers that way. So I went back to the other storage place and will gladly pay their prices. They were kind and understanding and quickly gave me a complete written estimate and said they had gotten many unhappy clients from Community and Tom's history and reputation are already well known in the Community. He will destroy this brand new exceedingly large storage facility storage business and is undermining their other caring employees of their hard work to gain new business. Good riddance. I will gladly pay more for professionalism and peace of mind. Renters have been moving out to get away from Tom and U-Haul won't do business with him. I've been traumatized enough already. I left completely shaken, in tears and concerned for my own safety. I will never set foot on that property again. Thank God for helping me dodge any further entanglement with this fiery bullet! read more
