They were great to deal with, and kept me informed well in advance of the move. The movers showed up on time, they were very friendly and professional, the move went off without a hitch! This is the second time I have used Two Men and a Truck and both times they were very good to work with and both my moves were hassle free!! I want to personally thank Miss Tasha for all her hard work and professionalism during my move! I also want to thank both movers, especially Mike! I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for your local moving needs in the NOLA area!!

Belongings from completely different rooms were thrown together, fragile items were not properly protected, and heavy items were packed on top of expensive equipment, resulting in damage before the move was even completed. Moving day was even worse. What I expected to be an organized move quickly turned into confusion. I was quoted ONE truck and received 2 so, they could charge me more money. My belongings, which were supposed to be delivered to two different locations, were mixed together, making the entire process far more complicated than necessary. I was also unexpectedly told I needed to rent an additional storage unit because of the way everything had been loaded. When I arrived at my storage unit, it looked like everything had simply been stacked wherever there was space. Furniture was upside down, boxes were piled randomly, and there was no organization whatsoever. Finding anything became nearly impossible. To make matters worse, my king-size bed was assembled with the wrong bed frame, making it completely unusable and, I have YET to be able to sleep on it because they still have not finished the job. Later, when I returned to my storage unit, I discovered broken glass throughout the unit. Multiple kitchen items, including Pyrex dishes and baking bowls, had been shattered. As I unpacked, I also found broken furniture and discovered that some items were missing altogether. The only bright spot in this entire experience was two of the movers, Harvey and Tyrese who voluntarily came back on their own personal time to help reorganize my storage units and clean up the broken glass. Without their help, I honestly don't know how I would have managed. They showed professionalism and compassion that I did not feel elsewhere during this experience. Unfortunately, Alec the Manager did not leave the same impression. I felt that my concerns were brushed aside while I continued to being harassed by Saxton for payment of nearly $3,900 despite the condition of my belongings and the issues I had reported. I have still yet to this day had a follow up about the damages that were broken. For the amount charged, I expected careful packing, organized loading, respect for my property, and accountability when problems arose. Instead, I was left with damaged belongings, missing items, an unusable bed, and countless hours of additional work trying to sort through the aftermath. Meanwhile they have one of their workers walking around asking for a tip from my grandparents. Like what??? And he still works there. Although these guys get paid nearly next to nothing and are treated like slaves, please remember to tip them each when they come. They are not getting paid next to nothing to sweat and move this heavy furniture into those big trucks. Based solely on my experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone. If you choose to use them, photograph every item before the move, inspect everything immediately afterward, and don't assume your belongings will arrive in the same condition they left. Furthermore, the way in which they treat their employees is appalling. I know from the inside Alec and Saxton intentionally try to push more trucks on the guys to make them charge the customers more money. I know for a fact that when they break things, they just leave them on the truck and throw them in the dumpster at the office when they get back. This was recently done to a marbel table of client and probably my missing lamp. The reason these boys act like they don't care is because they are treated like slaves and underpaid. These men should be making well over $20/hour like I am sure all the people in the office are but, they are not. They are paying these men next to nothing to drive across the country to bring stuff and all they can do is rely on your tips, So for anyone reading this, please tip them because they are not even getting paid enough to live in a ghetto apartment. I have first hand knowlede of these things and I do intend to file a report with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. I then have every intention to send this to the attorney general to get these men some relief. They are working in the hot sun lifting furniture and all Alec and Saxton are worried about is adding extra trucks for more payment. I feel as though my money should be returned for this move, and this is why I intend on filing all of these reports with the labor commission and all of the applicable agencies. Do not waste one dollar on this trash of a company. The Baton Rouge, LA location should not even be open in my opinion. And Alec and Saxton need to pipe it down and stop trying to be draining everyone's pocketbook for their own selfish gain. Lies Lies Lies is all they tell you, what a waste of space and air. Then for them to harass my 83-year-old grandmother just took the cake. Shut it down and start over.

After a long 4-1/2 hr drive, they quickly unloaded everything. Put the bed together and all furniture and boxes where we asked. Cannot say enough great words for the service we received. We will definitely recommend them to anyone we know needing movers. The Lears

I…read morework in customer service, and I know from my own personal experience that sometimes things happen and things can run late, but it's really about the recovery that you do for your customers when things go wrong, and ABBA went above and beyond for me and my husband. We had scheduled an 8 AM move, but issues with their truck caused them to run several hours late. But they kept in touch with us the whole time and communicated updates very well. And when they arrived to perform our move, they even brought extra guys to help and only charged us for the original two that they had quoted us in our quote. The team was so nice and so efficient. We moved from a bottom floor quadplex shotgun in Mid City to a 14th floor high-rise in the CBD, and we are having trouble with our key fob not working correctly, and the team was so patient as we dealt with that. They were fast, friendly, and efficient and transparent with the price, and the final price was on the low side of the range they gave us in the original quote. I would recommend this Company to anyone due to their transparency and pricing, great communication, and efficient friendly team.

I was told everything was good to go. Then on June 4, I got a text saying they needed to cancel our June 6 move and asked if we could move on June 7 instead. After much back and forth, I agreed because we were on a tight timeline and needed to move. June 7 came and went, and no one showed up. No call, no text, no email...nothing!! I had to reach out myself to find out what was going on. Even then, nobody ever arrived. I called both phone numbers listed online multiple times and never got an answer. Eventually, I received a text telling me to contact someone named Daniel. I texted him and called three times, but never got a response. Then I got a random email saying the truck broke down and they'd follow up with an ETA... 1 hr went by... complete silence. At that point, we were essentially ghosted. No apology, no explanation, and no effort to help us find a solution after leaving us without movers on the day of our move. Moving is stressful enough without having to wonder if your moving company is actually going to show up. Unfortunately, that was our experience. Based on how this was handled, I wouldn't recommend them if you need a company you can count on.

They over charged me and broke my tv. One guy looked totally high wobbling all over the other was throwing up. Asking me for water and food almost dying of dehydration and were sloppy when their boss said they were late for taking lunch. This people seemed like they got picked up from the corner and had no idea what they were doing. DO NOT HIRE THEM u will pay the price like I did. The people they sent other than the girl were not fit to do the job and I lost a tv because of it and paid two times more the quoted time because of their unprofessionalism and they even lost the key to the truck. I got the run around every time I called and lost over one thousand dollars because of them. I don't wish that for anyone. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY this move was a horrific experience. I had to help because they weren't doing it. One tv broken and 5 hours later for 3 people plus me is unacceptable. I will not be threatened or forced to take this review down like they do to others and tried to do to me. BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THEM

I…read morehad arranged and move with the storage because I made the mistake of trusting the moving company to store my items for a week or two while I was in between my apartments. He said he would charge me the same as the storage company so it would be easier than having to loaded and then unload it because they were just door the trailer for me. They did not store the trailer they actually unloaded the trailer according to them and then they had to reload it so once they arrive to my home to drop off my merchandise, they automatically asked for $640 in order to unload my items. Because they said it cost them over $200 to load and unload my things and there was a long walk from To the apartment to the moving truck. Take it I'm on the first floor. I told them I would pay them the $200 for the unloading at the storage area upfront but I prefer to wait until they were completely done with the job so I could pay them the same way. I had paid them last time when they were done with the job. After 20 minutes of going back-and-forth with Tyrone, the owner said I only had to pay $500 because it was a three hour job and I paid them the $500 upfront so that way they can unload my merchandise. One of the movers told me that Tyrone had said that he was just gonna load all my stuff and leave in the parking lot. I called the owner of the owners that wouldn't happen. But that's exactly what happened. Tyrone only did moving for an hour and a half and left my items outside. I had to call the police and make a report. The police asked me if I was missing any items come to find out after getting my items moved inside a TV is missing. And it wasn't just missing. It was completely unwrapped from its packaging and its box in the box was left there. Do I think it's a coincidence all that I missing a TV and that the job to get done and then only a missing a TV after I wouldn't pay the over charging. The police are on their way back to my home to file a report for the missing item And I will see this company in small claims court

The original date was on the Friday but when Marvin finally showed up the truck was too small and Marvin was by himself. After waiting for about a hour the second person never showed up and then they try to change the amount per hour. At that point I told David and Marvin that the deal was off. So Saturday David called and pleaded with me to give him another chance to make things right. With hesitation I agreed. I was told by David that everything would be packed up and moved no matter what or how long it took. During the process Marvin kept changing the requirements on the things that they could and could not do. This went on the whole time that was supposed to be packing and moving. It got to the point where Marvin told me that couldn't packed dishes if they were still in the cabinet. He said this wasn't part of the job. So I told Marvin that I would take all the dishes out of the cabinets. He wanted me to make boxes which is their job. I'm not happy at all with this company. I think your company is a scam. I will be reporting you to the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, Angie's list, and thumbtack.
