They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company!

This is a long, sad story, so be warned…read more My first encounter with them was for a 2hr move, two movers, moving my one bedroom unit upstairs into a garage space in the same house, to get it away from a flooded basement. They confirm a 4-6pm move time. The first moving guy to show up arrives at 5:20pm. Carmella- the receptionist blames it on bad traffic. I get that traffic can be really bad at times, but 1.5hours late and only one guy to start this move?? The first guy admits to me he has never moved before, and is in training. He says it wasn't traffic that made him late, and that he went to pick up his "trainer" who wasn't there. I had ordered moving boxes and supplies (packing tape and plastic to cover my items) from the company. Guy #1 had the boxes, but no tape or wrapping supplies. Guy #1 calls guy #2 to make sure he picks up the missing supplies. The second guy shows up at 6:40pm. The second guy brings masking tape (not packing tape) and asks if I have any more jobs for him to book after this one is done, as if he is my contractor. I call the company up and complain. They send a third guy from the company and he arrives at 7:30pm presumably to make me happy. No blankets laid down, no padding for the bannister, no protection for the floors, carpets or doors. All done by 9pm. Not quite the 4-6pm appointment I was told. After they leave, I notice the top of my dresser is scratched up, my dresser drawers won't go back in, I have new dents in my furniture, a black smear on my brand new white couch, and one of the guys laid a humidifier (with water in it) on its side on top of a black cabinet creating the top ply wood and veneer to bubble up. The guys also leaned my head and footboard up against the inside of my garage door, which when opened, deeply scraped up the finish, plus several deep scrapes on the basement door frame. I take pics of all the items and submit a claim. They have some guy tell me the scratches on the top of my bedroom dresser, and various dents were already on my furniture before the move, it's my fault the basement door frame is scraped because I didn't allow the guys to take the door off the hinges (I was never asked), and they don't believe my claim (basically accused me of lying), and they have pictures to prove it. They send the pics of my dresser after the movers had removed the mirror (I suspect that's when the scratches on the top were made), and the drawers were already removed (they broke the plastic drawer stops in several of the drawers when taking them out). Now, the fix. They tell me they don't replace furniture, but are sending a guy to fix the scratches and dents on a Weds, prior to my move back to my unit that weekend. Good. Then they call- have to cancel due to personal issues. Ok. Rescheduled to Friday at 4:00pm. I confirm Friday morning, yes, the furniture restorer is coming at 4pm. Yes. At 3:54pm, I get a call from Carmella, saying traffic is holding up the guy scheduled to come fix my furniture, and he will be 1.5hrs late. This is unbelievable. I am embarrassed to say I lost my sh*T at that point and yelled at Carmella all that was on my mind at the time. This company must think no one has any other obligations! The guy arrives 1hr late, and tells me, it wasn't traffic, as Carmella claimed, but the rNa movers sent him on another job to fix furniture that was an hour away when his 2nd job cancelled last minute. So who is lying now?? He does a decent job- he fills in, and stains the scratches to blend with the finish. Every piece looks passable, however my black cabinet is non-reparable. I hesitate to call them again, but the black cabinet is ruined. I will need to replace it. Thanks for reading this far, and I hope I'm not coming off like some Karen,...definitely not my intent. Either way- just don't.

Agreed to 2 men for 2 hours 4-6pm on a Weds night in May. Ordered boxes and packing materials from them to bring. I packed most things myself except my bookcase & books, and other items. Result: first man shows up 1.5hrs late, reason from the rNA Movers- "traffic accident". Real reason from first guy-he went to pick up his co-worker who wasn't there. Second guy confirms he's coming, but has to pick up packing tape missed by first guy. No staging, no floor/wall/bannister protection or blankets. First guy admits this is his first move. He and I are now moving my things. Second guy shows at 6:40pm with packing materials, but it's masking tape to seal boxes, not packing tape. Masking tape. Ok. Then he asks if I have any more jobs for him- I tell him if I did I'd be going through rNA movers. ?? I call to ask the company just what is going on? I get it, some things happen, but this is unlike anything I've experienced before. Ok. They send another guy to speed the process. He is polite, apologetic and helps the other two along. Process ends at 9pm. Not 6pm. The company does admit this was not usual and gives me 50% off my cost. Fast forward- I check my furniture. It appears there are some new scratches, scrapes and dents. The movers leaned the bed frame up against the inside of the garage door, scraping it, and the inside of the doorframe to the basement has four large scrapes. I send in pictures and file a claim. I am told by Joe our conversations are recorded, and during the conversation, he suggests that I'm lying, imagining the scrapes to my furniture, and they have pictures. I ask to see them. One picture is of my dresser top, which was taken after my dresser mirror was dismantled from it. The scratches on the top are deep, and I tell Joe that no, they are new, and I can't believe I'm being accused of lying or imagining this. The other pictures taken are of items that have no new damage to them, and I admit my furniture is not new, there are already dings that have been fixed by a prior moving company, but those items are not being contested. They schedule to send a guy to fix the furniture out on a Weds. They call and say he's had an emergency and can't come until Friday at 4pm, no worries, but Friday is the last day I can have them come out. They confirm Friday morning that he's coming. Five min before 4pm, the company calls and says he's run into bad traffic again and will be 1.5hrs late. Now this is where I admit I blow up at the receptionist- not my most admirable moment, I admit, and look- if you know you're going to be that late, you call with as much advanced notice. I cancel my evening plans. Again. So, come to find out from the guy who shows up to fix my furniture that no, he's not late because of traffic, but there was an appointment cancellation in his earlier schedule that day, and the company decided to send him 1 hour out of his way to do another furniture fix knowing he'd be late to my appointment, and they chose to lie to me again to cover up. Look I get running a business is hard work. Coordinating people's schedules can be chaotic at best. And you don't lie to your clients, call them liars, or scammers (that accusation was in the last review) and treat them with distain when mistakes are made. It would've gone very differently had they just said sorry, I get you're inconvenienced, and let's see what we can do to fix it. The upside is that the scrapes and scratches were fixed well, the guy they sent Friday was amazing at what he did and has my gratitude. TL:DR simple move goes wrong- moving guys over 1.5hrs late, not professional, company lies about why they're late. After move, notice dent and scratches furniture, make a claim. Company accuses me of lying/imagining scratches, sends furniture fixer who is 1.5hrs late again, and lies about i. I admit I will not use this company again.

Then we came to our senses and realized it was going to take us forever and we are definitely not spring chickens! So we started calling around for quotes on moving our 2 bedroom condo to a home in the springs. We spoke to Sherry who provided all the hourly costs for 2 guys and for 3 guys on a Saturday with a $30 charge for gas since it was an out of town move. Not too bad. We weren't sure exactly how long it might take but we anticipated the move would be about $1500. On moving day the truck (giant truck) pulled up and 3 happy guys greeted me. Mike, Justin, and Pena. They took a look around and got right to work. They had us out of the old house in about 2 hours and handled everything with extreme care! As they were finishing securing everything in the truck we left ahead of them to head to the new house. Thinking they would take much longer than us we started unloading our cars and they pulled up behind us immediately! Moving in was much simpler since we just wanted all the boxes in the garage and all of the furniture in the living room. They cleaned up their truck, settled the final bill, and went on their way. Ended up being about $1400 and worth every penny to be all moved in with out the aches and pains and days it would have taken us!

Our piece of mind in knowing that a single crew would be accountable for the entire job was crucial. It was great for us to build a rapport with one team who both picked up our whole house and delivered it to in Vegas. We had lots of vintage furniture and art, and we knew we needed some extra help to ensure that items were carefully wrapped, stacked, and packed onto the truck. Everything showed up intact, nothing broken, and the extra care that came with knowing the team allowed us to get a great value for our money - particularly when it came time to unload into our new home. The crew--Tanner, Benny, Ben, and Jonathan--were all professional, efficient, helpful, and very careful with our belongings. Movemasters packed the truck for my move, which I then drove myself out of state. At my destination, I used a different moving team, and the contrast in professionalism was huge. That really highlighted how outstanding Movemasters was. They run an honest business with a friendly, professional team, and I highly recommend them.
