They tell me there is more parking coming out back. Entrance from back is needed too for at least foot traffic. This will help when the main entrance is full of vehicles. Jason is the guy who runs this place and he goes out of his way to make this an attractive option for storage. He cares, he tries his best within the constraints he has with corporate SSS. I now have 3 units here. I think that says the most. I had one when I posted my original review and despite the shortcomings I hit, Jason has earned my business. This place isn't perfect but it is better than the many I've dealt with in the last 4-5 years.

We were victims of a Con artist and took a financial hit that was extremely difficult to recover from. We fell behind on the rent. I presented our hardship to the staff here. I cried and begged them to please give us time to not loose everything we had. But, instead they raised the rent. We did everything we could to raise the money. Paid them thousands and got within a few hundred dollars from paid off. So, they raised the rent again and added more fees. We begged. My Mother even paid what she could and begged them as well to have a heart. But, we lost everything. The money we thought would be our cushion to be able to rebuild our lives went to paying fees to these heartless people. We were $200 short and we lost everything. And I'm not talking about from the promotional rate to the regular rate. From the regular rate, they've raised it twice, for a total of more than $50/month -- $600+ a year! Not only that, but their efforts to be more technology driven make dealing with them a pain. There is no on-premises staff to talk to at any time. You have to stand in an empty lobby and talk to someone remotely over a video call if you need help. They require you to use an app to gain access to anywhere in the building. The lobby, opening the garage door, the restroom, the elevator, etc. But the apps are unreliable and inconsistent. And there's two of them. We were supposed to start using the new one but it doesn't work (the old one still does?). I wish I never moved my stuff in here. I wouldn't recommend this storage unit to anyone.

My mom had so much kitchenware and fragile stuff I was stressing out because I had no time to pre-packaged them before the movers came, ended up that the movers were able to carefully wrap them in blankets, and provided bins, wooden crates, basically did all the work. Everything was brought down 2 flights of stairs and loaded into their truck within 30 minutes, and they even drove me to my new apartment. It wasn't until after the window of time they gave me that I got a call that they would be arriving late. I'm okay with them being late (I assume another move took longer than expected, understandable), but it would've been nice to have gotten a call at the beginning of the window to have some peace of mind that I wouldn't be getting stood up. We ended up postponing to the next day (it was getting late and it started pouring rain), and they called ahead of the appointment to let me know they were coming and arrived on time and the movers were very nice and efficient. The units, hallways, and elevators are spotless. I never had a concern about the temperature or humidity inside the building. I appreciated that there was surveillance in all the hallways, given that it is a very large and cavernous place. In the end, the human element is what makes this facility stand out. I dealt mainly with Mario, and he is super-conscientious and pro-actively gave me every bit of information I needed to use this facility confidently, rent an additional unit, and vacate my spaces economically. I highly recommend this outfit if you live on the north side and looking for storage. To my mind, it's a near perfect arrangement for a reasonable price.

When I first talked to them for a quote, they made it very easy as they walk you through the whole moving process. The person giving the quote makes you go room by room and list all the furniture that you are planning on moving to your new place. They then explain what's included in the price and email you a copy for your records. A $50 deposit is required to lock in your date and is credited towards your total at the end. Adil and his team works super fast and waste no time at all. They are very knowledgeable and work great together as a team. They finished our move 2 hours earlier than what was quoted! Amazing! All our furniture and belongings were packed wonderfully in their truck and all made it to our new place in their respective rooms without any issues.
