Imagine paying $220 for a storage unit and one day paying a moving truck $170 to bring a fridge in just to find out that you can't access the storage because their general access pad is broken! No notice absolutely nothing!! The access pad broke and they just put a Slappy notice on the door so it's saying it's broken have a good life They happily charge every month, if you are late with yoir payment for three days or if they don't know how to properly charge your credit card they would happily charge you $50 late fee however they quickly made their problem your problem instead of hiring someone to stay there for all the hours of access until the access pad is fixed they decided to just ignore the problem altogether when I did call in the morning the guy said ma'am I just got here, everybody's complaining- we don't have a solution nothing can be done Basically STAY FAR AWAY Can't wait to move out

The staff are extremely courteous, helpful, and professional. All my questions were addressed up front, and I am confident that I chose the best facility around! The best part for me is the secure loading dock (garage). Even when there are other folks bringing stuff in or out, I don't have to wait more than a few minutes. If I stop by early in the morning or late in the evening, I'm typically done within 5 minutes. It's that easy. I love that the facility is climate controlled (for my own comfort primarily), and I don't have any concerns about safely, knowing that access is strictly monitored. Self Storage 1 gets my highest recommendation. Lakeview and Uptown folks, this is as good as it gets!

The owner claims the issue is being taken care of but the mice never went away as every month I return to my unit and discover new damage! The contract you sign when renting the unit mentions no responsibility of the owner for any damage including damage done by rodents so you will be left on your own to deal with your loss. They offered $10 discount for the next 6 months for me as well as arrange the livers to vacate then disappeared. The staff is friendly but not helpful. Be mindful of this went renting from them!

This is one of the worst post office experiences I've ever had. I went in Saturday about an hour…read moreand a half for closing and I get there when a shift change and cash store check was happening so I get that I had to wait. But the workers had such an attitude. One of them who wander around told me to go to the next open window but when I got there then the worker gave me attitude while saying I didn't call you up. Then the wandering worker said well she can wait while you get set up. The way they didn't even seem to like each other and have to work together was not making it seem like a safe space. Luckily, this isn't my common post office that I would go to and I'm so thankful for that because the set up is so weird too like you can't even see the employee in the window to know. It's also incredibly dirty inside and there was a homeless person or something asking for money right when you walk in. Didn't feel safe, didn't feel any great customer service, extremely long wait. Never again.

I've seen far worse post offices than this. Everyone complaining of employees giving an attitude…read moreperhaps need to understand these clerks aren't the complaints department for whatever you have going on. Ask to speak with a supervisor if you have delivery issues etc. It would be much better if some of the customers wouldn't stand in line trying to mail out a single first class envelope and waiting to buy a stamp just for that one envelope. Buy a book of stamps and you will save everyone else's time including your own. It would be much better if this post office had a caller window for people picking up packages open during a certain time of day like 10am or something then it would be easier to pick up packages like it was many years ago. But look at all other retail industries where everything is being automated or self serve so it doesn't surprise me that there is only one window or 2 at most open to help you. Sometimes putting yourself in the shoes of the clerk is all it takes and try seeing it from their perspective. It's not easy to have a postal job. Postal work isn't like a simple 9 to 5 job specially the ones going on route. The biggest problem is there is no parking lot for the customers and its either paying the over priced street metered parking or risking getting a ticket and when the lines are long, like waiting for 15 to 20 minutes in line for people to get their passports done specially if you know how to fill everything out then maybe do it yourselves instead of wa ting everyone doing it for you. Then that takes away time and sometimes its not worth paying overpriced meter parking or risking a ticket for waiting in long line to pick up package specially some rude customers with their kids screaming and jumping around like its a playground. The you all expect the clerks to be all smiling when you wouldn't be smiling either if you had to work in this kind of environment.

I am confused by the positive reviews for this company. I completely regret hiring them for our…read moremove and would not recommend!! First, if you're nervous about COVID-19, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. On the phone they'll tell you that the movers wear masks and gloves and sanitize trucks and blankets- NOT TRUE. The truck was filthy, no gloves were ever worn, and the movers won't wear a mask unless you ask, or if/when they do wear one they will just wear it below their nose the entire time and complain about not being able to breathe when you ask them to keep their nose covered. Second, they charge per item- I expected some up-charging on our moving day because I knew I had more items than I could remember when filling out the inventory form, via phone, with our booking agent. However, they tried charging me 50% more than my original quote- on moving day- which was 3k. This was extremely deceitful to me, and seemed like sketchy business practices. Only after threatening to call the BBB and write a poor review, they decreased it to 1.8k, which is still outrageous because we didn't have THAT much extra stuff to warrant that much up-charging. They also tried to tell me some items were extra (like our grill) which I definitely included in the original inventory conversation on the phone when I booked them. Fast forward to when they showed up at our house with our stuff 10 days later. They showed up on closing day, so they had to wait to begin unloading until we closed on the home. Had I known they would've shown up on the first available date that I gave them (which in different circumstances would've been great), I would've written a different day on the form when it asked which day we could receive our stuff. I only wrote the first possible day because the woman I booked with (Dana) told me that if I wrote Sept 15th, they won't get there until at least Sept 18th, because the date that I write is the date our stuff leaves storage. Again, not true- our stuff left storage on Sept 13th. They charged us $150 per hour for the movers to wait. Then, while unloading, in addition to again wearing masks below their noses, I notice our TV stand is damaged. Also, they lost 3 screws to be able to put our bed frame back together, so the poor moving guy had to drive his semi to home depot at 7pm to buy screws because he was on the phone with the company trying to figure out what to do and they were being no help (that guy, Dan, was the only positive part of the experience- he was exceptionally helpful when unloading our stuff and actually kept his mask on). I've continued to unload throughout the week and found several items damaged. They put stickers on all of your stuff thoughtlessly which are impossible to get off, so now I have to figure out a way to get all of the stickers off- and no one wants extra work when you're already moving across state lines and trying to get settled, much less during a pandemic. With all of the extra charges, we paid close to 6k more than originally quoted. They've sent me a claim form (only after having to call twice to request it) to fill out for damaged items which I am waiting to do until I am completely unpacked, because I keep finding damaged stuff. If the company honors my claim form and I get reimbursed for damaged items as well as compensated for the less than professional service, I will update my review accordingly.
