They really mean it when they say temperature-controlled, which I appreciate. It's a very cool lower 70's in there. Even the bathroom is kept clean. I felt very safe at this location. Anyone can drive up to this building, there is no gate, however, you can't get in the building unless you have a code. And for security, the doors time-out and you will have to put your code in again. Somewhat inconvenient when you're moving in a lot of stuff, but I like the security of that. People can't just walk up and get in. Also, there are security cameras in the building. I switched from Public Storage in Coral Springs because it was dirty and barely temperature-controlled, almost 80 and some areas you don't even feel it...,but you're still paying extra for that feature. And I didn't feel safe walking around that location. When I arrived at Extra Space Storage with my movers, Gary personally walked me over to my space. Vikki came to meet me and make sure everything was up to par. The customer service here is great. They really made this a pleasant experience. When you later find out the correct details and try to get help resolving the issue, no one wants to take responsibility. Because of the misinformation I received, I lost over $300. Instead of trying to assist or make things right, the situation was handled poorly -- even by the District Manager, who I felt was rude and unhelpful. On top of that, I continue to see unnecessary fees being added to my account, and trying to reach customer service by phone is nearly impossible. The property manager, John, showed me around and I was able to view two of the storage units I was interested in. The units are of high quality and very clean inside the units also. I have to give a shout-out to John, because he went out of his way to explain everything as well as helped another customer with a quick request. He also showed me around the place, not just the units, but also the rental trucks, dollies, and I even took pictures of the accessories that I would need for my move. Now, let's talk about how much great value this place brings to storage facilities. On their website you can get really great prices. When I compare their prices to other storage facilities, they came up the winner every time. Not sure why anyone would want to go elsewhere, if they did some research. Highly recommended
