Temp/Humidity levels are perfect (I stored original artwork and musical instruments), and the facility is very clean. I was on the 3rd floor with a 10 x 20 and kept my 5 x 10 which was right around the corner. I got out of the 10 x 20 when moving to my new home. The price almost doubled in the one year. That is modus operandi for most all Storage Units so be ready or pay up.

She asked all the important questions and provided me with key points of information that would be helpful for the move . She was also able to give me an approximate estimate regarding the timeframe and cost of the move. The day before the move, I was contacted for confirmation. Reed's provided my high-rise condominium with their Certificate Of Insurance . I was contacted by the crew 10 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know that they were on their way. Raz and Calvin arrived promptly at 8 am . They securely wrapped all my furniture and kyak and transported them to our new condo in a timely manner. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and service. I shared with the crew that growing up in Bronx NY my dad worked for a moving company so I know how hard they work on what can be a tiring and difficult job. BEWARE: They DO NOT secure this facility and the property manager has unethical business practices…read more This Naples Storage Sense location was illegally withholding access to MY PAID STORAGE UNIT to purposely delay me from removing my items until tomorrow which is the 1st adding an additional full month of rent is due since rent is not prorated. THIS IS FRAUD! I arrived today 7/31/22 to move my items out of my storage unit and my access code didn't work. I was on the phone for over an hour with 3 different reps while waiting 2 hours outside in the hot sun WITH movers who were being paid by the hour! (You owe me for their time.) One rep gave me an "Emergency Use Only" code but it didn't work. The 3rd rep agreed that my rent was paid through the end of July and that my access code should work. BUT since I haven't prepaid for August, the property manager disabled my code and she wanted me to "come to the office tomorrow and she will help me." It does not matter if I have/haven't prepaid for August or if I have/haven't given a "written" notice to vacate. MY RENT IS PAID THROUGH THE END OF JULY AND I SHOULD HAVE ACCESS THROUGH THE END OF JULY! My contract clearly states that I will have access to my belongings and IF rent is not paid within 5 days of the due date then she can deny access. While waiting for help, a guy came out of the building. I asked if he was with the property manager. He said no. I asked him to let me in. He said he left the door cracked. Seems weird that he was in there for 2 hours - this is SW Florida in the middle of the summer and these are not climate controlled...but he wasn't. I discovered the back doors are UNLOCKED...they don't even have a lock on the handles!!! The conditions of this facility are nothing like represented on their social media pages. Also, I have a video showing that I left a clean unit so don't even try to charge for cleaning or damages.

I had my entire 4br home belongings stored here and it's has been destroyed with rat feces and urine on the mattress, sofa, couch, chair. Mold on the bed head and foot boards, as well as my clothes. PICTURES DO NOT LIE, SEE FOR YOURSELF. I rented a climate controlled unit for $638 per month and on 7/29/31 I discovered that the A/C was not working. I called and went to the property manager Napolean on 7/29/23, gave him a key and was told on 7/31/23 that the unit needed a new A/C . Gus the General Manager wouldn't approve the new unit and I had to drive every week from the east coast of Florida to check on my storage as NO ONE would call me back with an update. I have documents proving each call to customer care weekly with no resolution. Chris the regional manager NEVER called me at my request. I knew that my belongings could not continue to be stored in these hot conditions, therefore Ibhad to hire a moving company on 9/5/23 to remove my belongings and I want you to look at how my belongings were destroyed as they were left in a non climate controlled unit due to the AC NOT FUNCTIONING for 6 weeks. Dead rats, cockroachs, mold.....just discussing. For over 5 weeks I pleaded with storage sense to get the issue resolved before my things were ruined and NO ONE HELPED ME. I will be posting about this on social media., and ALL platforms to alert the public that if you care about your belongings DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE. They had a lack of concern, nonchalant attitude, and just disregard the issues I had.

We recently moved our belongings from New York to Florida and had originally chosen a storage unit…read morenear our condo sight-unseen. The rate was decent, and we locked it in for six months, but once we finally visited the place last week... it was a hard NO. Dirty, questionable smells, and honestly, I was starting to wonder if any of our items would even be salvageable. Our contract was ending in early December anyway, so we immediately went searching for a new facility. That's when we found The Lock Up Self Storage in Bonita Springs--just a mile or so up the road, and truly a night-and-day difference. From the moment we walked in and met Jim, we knew we were in the right place. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The building was spotless. It smelled clean (which is definitely not something you appreciate until you've been in a gross facility!), and the security features were exactly what we were used to in New York: a code to enter the building and another code for the elevator. That instantly gave us peace of mind. Jim showed us two different units to help us decide on the right size, and we settled on a 10x10 at a very fair price. Honestly, at that point we were moving regardless of cost--the difference in quality was THAT dramatic. The unit we chose was a carpeted end unit, which made unloading and organizing so much easier. No bugs, no signs of vermin, no weird smells, great lighting, and clearly well-maintained. We rented a U-Haul that same day, emptied the old unit, and moved everything into The Lock Up Storage. Best decision ever. The old place was also about to raise our rent by nearly $90 a month, which was laughable considering the condition it was in. We're now completely at peace knowing our belongings are safe, clean, and stored in a place we trust. Huge thank you to Jim, who made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Highly, highly recommend The Lock Up Self Storage if you want security, cleanliness, and excellent customer service. We could not be happier with the switch.
