I have rented with two other storage facilities before and at those other facilities I experienced rodent damage and droppings on my belongings, flooding and water damage, reported theft on the property, insect damage and spiderwebs on everything, excessive dust, the list goes on. I almost thought that was part of for the course with storage... so much so that I put all my furniture on palletts in case of flooding and covered everything in my unit with a tarp. Both these measures proved unnecessary because the husband and wife who own this facility keep it IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Prior to selecting this storage facility I wrote down a lengthy list of requirements in a facility to store my items in, as I was storing many vintage and sentimental items. It was highly important to me that rodent and insect damage would be unlikely, that my items would be damaged by flooding or leaky roofs, or that my items wouldn't be stolen (seems like bare minimum but you'd be surprised! ) I just vacated my unit today after five years and I found no water damage, no rodent or insect damage, and the only spiderwebs on my furniture were the ones I moved my furniture in with (proven by the ancient dog fur caught in the webs). Communication with this facility has also been excellent. Any rate changes to my monthly bill I always recieved both email and postal mail notices. Office hours are broad which means if I have any changes to my account, they're open when it's convenient for me to stop by. The couple who owns the facility live on site and the property has massive security... I never had to fear theft or damage. Staff have been friendly, expedient, and helpful 100% of the time that I've had to interact with them. I would strongly recommend this business if you need storage and the security and preserving the cleanliness of your items are your priority. There are cheaper options available in town if you're willing to go with companies whose storage facilities are notorious for pest/water damage.

It's not their responsibility to protect my belongings. It's mine. One of only two places I've rented from in 25 years that insists in this manner. If they want to protect their facility from renters then that should be baked into the rental fee, not forced as an add on through questionable business practices and privacy and PCI violations.

I'm not okay because they took things from me that I had managed to hold onto for the last 30 years despite all the moves things that can't be replaced and were put there without my permission I can't actually access. I was told I'd be able to access my items but their lack of communication has made that literally impossible as I am 800 miles away. They knew that 30 days ago when we made first contact. That I had no tangible way of getting my property out of there quickly but they chose violence against a girl who is literally just trying to survive. The reason there are laws protecting victims of DV who try to leave is because they often leave their things behind when fleeing. I was unable to safely get my stuff and it wasn't a priority when I left. My safety was. So without my permission it was moved into a storage unit here at this location and then I was promised to be called and emailed for 4 weeks straight where the staff here led me on to believe I'd be getting a call by someone competent enough to transfer to my name so I could either take over that bill or come get my things. Neither one happened because they don't communicate. And they lie. So if you support that kind of deceptive and predatory behavior come on down they'd love to screw you over too

Penny took the time explaining what size unit I'd need and showed me how to utilize the space efficiently with my items. A couple years later I needed a smaller unit and once again Penny assisted with great customer service always helpful knowledgeable looking out for her customers best interest. I recently transferred to a larger unit moved cross country temporarily and have since returned to find everything is as it was when I left California. I'm almost twenty miles from my unit today could move out to another facility closer to home however I won't because I know my things are safe and secure because of Penny and her staff. Kind considerate caring and most important trustworthy. I'm grateful and so appreciative for these people. If you're in need of a storage facility I recommend them 100%. On 7/10 she told me that my request to allow me to come up with over Year payment totalling $2000.00 on 7/18/24 or my unit will be auctioned & sold. When I called on 7/18/24 at 9:06am I got the outgoing vm from 4th of July that they are closed this date. I didn't leave a message instead I called again &Val answered. I asked if Penny was available? Val told me she was not in the office & would be back in an hour. I let Val know that My banking institution was not running & I would have to make a cash payment in person. I asked Val to let Penny know & to give me a call. An hour went by & I never got a call from Penny. Penny still wasn't back for the entire day. Next day 7/19 Called 9:05am no answer. I called again left vm for Penny to please call me regarding my payment. Penny returned my call at 9:13am to tell me my unit was sold. I asked her Why did she sale my unit? She said because I didn't pay in time & the guy who bought my unit was there yesterday at 10am sharp to pick up his unit. I asked if she received my message from Val? She said by the time she got my message it was too late. I'm upset & feeling violated & betrayed because she has removed my units from the auction list many times before so I could pay. I'm very disappointed & hurt that she also in the past removed items from another one of my units without my knowledge or approval & told me that my things collapsed so she moved my items into a empty unit that I am not paying on or have a key to access my items.
