After arriving at my new condominium, my cat became temporarily misplaced. I asked the movers to stop while I searched because I could no longer supervise the move. Instead, they loaded a substantial portion of my belongings onto their trucks and removed them without my knowledge or authorization. Those items were supposed to remain in my condominium, not be taken to storage. I never requested storage, signed a storage agreement, or authorized storage charges. After I filed my BBB complaint, the company claimed I owed approximately $4,000 in storage fees. I never received a storage invoice, billing statement, demand for payment, or any documentation supporting those alleged charges, and I dispute that I ever agreed to storage. For years, I tried in good faith to recover my belongings. Despite repeated emails and requests, I was never provided with documentation supporting the claimed storage charges or explaining the authority under which my belongings were retained. As late as August and September 2025, I was assured my property was "safe and secure." I relied on those assurances, only to later receive an email from the owner stating that my belongings had been donated without my knowledge or consent. Among those belongings were my dearly loved late mother's cremated ashes, irreplaceable family heirlooms lovingly created by my parents, treasured photographs, jewelry, personal records, and other priceless possessions. I continue to request a complete accounting of what happened to my property, including when, where, how, and under what authority it was disposed of. I encourage consumers to carefully review all documentation, ask questions, and proceed with caution before hiring this company.

But that isn't the best part, the best part about this place is Mike. He runs it, is always available, and makes it his personal duty to ensure the comfortability safety of his customers. Even when I had a late payment of for some reason there was an issue with the card I had on file, I always, 100% of the time got a personal call from Mike asking if things were alright and what we needed to do to clear things up. This place is great on it's own, but the staff and service are something you won't find anywhere else.

1 Star Review -- Extremely Disappointed with CubeSmart…read more I originally rented from a company called Storage West back in 2021. I had two 5x10 units at just $48 per month each, and everything was great -- until they were bought out by CubeSmart. Honestly, that buyout was the worst move ever. Had Storage West told me they were selling, I would have never rented from them, especially since I was preparing for a long-distance move to the East Coast. Lesson learned: always ask if a storage company plans to sell or change ownership before signing any agreement. Fast forward to 2025 -- my rent skyrocketed to $250 per unit! CubeSmart showed zero appreciation for my long-term business and made paying even harder by suddenly removing the phone payment option I had always used. To make matters worse, because I was an existing customer, I didn't qualify for any of the promotions or discounts new renters were getting for the exact same 5x10 units. By July 2025, I moved out of both units -- and I will NEVER rent from CubeSmart again. Warning to others: If you need long-term storage, be cautious! CubeSmart is nearly impossible to reach -- from the local office all the way up to corporate. I'm still waiting on a call back from their corporate office. Bottom line: I do NOT recommend CubeSmart for anyone looking for honest, reliable, long-term storage I do have to give credit to Adam the manager who was newly hired for this particular location he was very helpful
