I had to pick up a package today from The UPS Store and I am very pleased with the process! All I…read morehad to do to secure the package was show photo ID. They did not even need an order number! The service was fast and friendly. At this current Covid-19 time the UPS Store is only allowing 2 guests in store. They have tape on the floor for where you stand once inside. Both employees are wearing masks and are still managing to smile through them! I was mostly glad to see they are not requiring signatures for pickup or purchase. What a relief to be free from those germy digital pens! They have got a great system going on right now.

At the time, truck issues caused delays in our move that caused an inconvenience and consternation. I understand that technical issues occur- and the follow up to my complaint was meaningful and sincere. Michael immediately contacted me to let me know that he was sorry for the inconvenience and that he is committed to excellent communication and service. He went out of his way to acknowledge the error and extend a discount as a gesture of good faith. I had planned to recycle them but the driver said he wanted them. Had I known it would be an extra $272, I wouldn't have agreed. And to top it all off, they charged me an hour extra ($159). I can't complain about the actual movers, who were fantastic, but the shady business practices are enough to make me want to warn others. I had to pay in full before they'd unload the truck, I did not get an itemized bill until I asked twice via email, and then when I questioned the extra charges, I also had to ask twice. Be wary.
