I had no idea they needed to be tuned every 6-12 months, we haven't tuned ours in many moons. I don't play but my daughter does and I must say that after an hour long deep tune session the piano sounds much better. I learned that each tuning should be a fine tuning not a complete overhaul. I also learned because of this Florida weather that all pianos should have a dehumidifier installed so that the keys and other wood moving parts do not become sticky or wrap which makes a lot of sense. This is something the piano store should recommend when you first purchase a piano but I do not recall them ever mentioning this. Anyhow, the piano teacher immediately noticed that the piano sounded much better so I guess I will have to get this thing tuned on a regular basis. Overall great experience, Don was able to accommodate my schedule and come to the house after five and can schedule weekends if needed. I highly recommend him for you piano tuning needs.

Owner Anthony Duffy thoughtfully met with the donor in advance to assess the piano the student would be receiving. He conducted a thorough inspection and provided helpful background information about the piano maker and model, giving us a better understanding of the instrument. Anthony and his assistant John were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. On the day of the move, they took great care to ensure the piano would fit safely through the kitchen and in the elevator, paying close attention to wall and cabinet corners. The piano was secured and transported in a Bayfront Piano trailer outfitted exclusively for instrument moving. As with Bayfront Piano!! We referred to Bayfront by our well regarded piano tuner. My wife's experience from setting up the appointment and scheduling in a tight moving window on short notice was pleasant and flawless. I must apologize I was under orders NOT to take pictures as my wife did not even want to be watching as her baby (claw & ball mahogany 2004 baby grand Pramberger I bought for her birthday - not saying which one :-) ) was being extracted from one home and delivered to the next about 2 miles away. (I had to take one just now as we are still un-packing and my wife is asleep (snicker) ) She was a wreck the whole time. I suspect the way I felt when my 7 ton sailboat was in the crane straps 30 feet in the air being splashed in the water each season - but I digress) Anthony and his crew skillfully and delicately/surgically maneuvered the 600+ pound instrument and transported it to our home. From tools, fixtures, transports/carts, handling mechanisms, trailer/hitch, vehicles - you can tell this is a well "tuned" mission with military precision, safety, and care. It was also the hottest day so far in 2022 with temps in the 90s and a heat index over 100. What a truly exceptional and wonderful experience. Great service, wonderful people and personality, and I can save you the many calls we made to "hope" we would find the right folks!!! HERE THEY ARE!!!

Mike has such a high technical level of expertise, that I didn't for one minute feel the need to have a third party inspect the wonderful piano that he was selling, which is standard practice, I am told. Mike frankly knew more about the piano then the manufacturer, who I spent three hours with in person, at their HQ. The service Mike provides is over the top. This store is a gem, the prices are better than I found nationally, and it was personally the best experience I have had in any industry.
