They offered to put my things in storage however did not inform me of the cost. I would have made other arrangements. The cost went from $4000 to $8000. I would give it less than 1 star because that's what this company deserves. They picked up my furniture on 5/14/25, held it overnight and delivered it on 5/15/25. There was so much damage to major pieces of my furniture , i.e. double dresser, break front, bed frame, mattress, side table and nicks and scratches on others. I have called the person who I initially made arrangements with sev time. No reply. I called the Ops Mgr? numerous times. No reply. Not once. Finally, after 3-1/2 weeks I heat from someone who does their repairs this past Monday 6/9/25, who came and assessed the problems. He was supposed to come on Friday, but told me could not that will be here this coming Monday. He is the only one that has replied to me and my pleas. However, this is not all. They overcharged me for boxes that I didn't use. I left that message as well, but as I said no reply to me directly about anything. So that is why I'm writing this review because I've been patient enough and my patience has just run out. We were so lucky to get Lewis and Will to move us. They arrived on time and were totally professional. They were also friendly and immediately inspired confidence in us. We were in great hands! This company willfully and knowingly scammed me out of $1400. From reading other reviews from here and other two men and a truck locations, they will likely do the same to you. I signed a bill at the end of my move for $2200, which was already a high price compared to competitors, and they wound up charging me $3600. They have diligently emailed everything but the $2200 bill that I signed. This is 100% the worst experience I have ever had with any company...period. Broken storage unit door (pictured), footprints from movers all over wooden entertainment cent and dining room table (pictured), dining room table top scratched beyond what you think "professional" movers would even be capable of (pictured). Contact corporate because the local office doesn't return calls even though John, the operations manager, came to my unit and took the dining room table for repair and stated he "would make this right" and call me in about an hour after speaking with GM and book keeper....John or anyone else for that matter never called back. Nothing has been resolved and no offer of any type of compensation or apology. PLEASE READ AND LOOK AT THESE PICTURES. A lot of reviews you can't take at face value because some people are crazy, but this is proof and I could go on and on about more. Folks, this is an FYI for all that have to move. There is a different way that boxes etc. need to be packed for a short distance move and a long distance move using a truck or UHaul type or using PODS or UCubes (ABF). It's VERY important that any moving, packing or loading company are very aware of the details of your type of move. PODS & U Cubes get slammed around, hard, by the fork lifts. That means that the load is going to get compressed, rubbed and shift even more than a truck move. Note to 2 Men & Truck: suggest that all metal objects, head boards, foot boards etc. get wrapped as they WILL rub against each other. That being said, 2 Men & Truck sent an inexperienced team to pack & load U Cubes. It was a hiccup. Management was the communication hiccup, but Nathan eventually fixed it. He fixed it, that's what counts. The packing/moving team of Dillion, Luis, and Jordan were great. They willingly accepted advice from an experienced packer & mover (the customer, just got too old to do it all myself) & got the job done. Do not use them!!! They will give you an estimate which is well below what they will charge you. Even after I made the final payment signed by myself and the drivers and tipped the 2 drivers, the next day they charged my card for another $500. Of course my credit card will get it back but this scam is not something I want anyone to deal with. Best to use another company, even paying more is your best route. read more

These "3" guys were amazing....Reliable, courteous and very professional and they far exceeded my expectations. It was a last minute had to move out experience and these guys wasted no time on getting my furniture dissassembled and wrapped and moved out of my 8th floor condo. I was worried about some of my fragile pieces and complicated furniture, but they were right on it and wasted no time. At one time this was a reputable company. They had experienced Movers, who did a fast, quality job, with a good attitude. I don't know what happened to this company. But it no longer employees experienced movers, who know what they are doing. The first time, we ordered two men. This went off without a hitch. This time we ordered three men, in order to finish quicker. We were quoted five hours for three men. It took them nine hours because in reality we only had one trained mover and the other two couldn't think for themselves and waited, continuously, for direction. One of the men stood around or sat in the truck texting or talking on the phone. When asked about this, he said it was important for him to pace himself. They damaged an expensive cabinet and when I asked them about that, they said I would have to talk to the front office, because that wasn't their department. It would've been nice if someone had said they were sorry. I called the office, a few days later after we'd had some time to cool off. The man was prompt in getting back to me, but said that they would have man to come out and fix the table, but the five hour quote he could do nothing about. In the end they wound up crediting us a couple hours. However, we opted to have our own cabinet maker fix the damage they caused. Two years ago when they moved us they had two jokers come out to fix something they damaged and they had no clue what they were doing. We weren't going to put ourselves through that again. We will never hire these men to move us again. Maybe we got lucky the first time, two years ago. However, others have told me that since they franchised, their work quality has suffered. read more

Dented the washing machine, broke lamps, ripped our new leather couches and on and on. Then the thought it funny to leave dirty hand prints all over the walls. The crew never used a single moving blanket during the move and then had the nerve to suggest we were playing them as they were wrecking our house. We only moved 5 miles down the road. Complete rip off. I will never use this company again. We had all of our stuff packed and ready to move and they still took 4 hours just to pack up our house and then another 4 hours to put the items in a storage unit. They definitely take their time, so they can get the most money out of you. Don't use this company. Update... I tried to call the local office to get things fixed after the movers broke our storage unit, dining room table and multiple other items. It took someone 2 weeks before they came to look at the items and then told us that the whole storage unit was a mess and he didn't want to touch the unit, until he discussed with the GM... never heard back from them and now they won't fix anything. The worst company ever. Don't use them unless you want everything broken and no result or even a phone call back. Moving is stressful, which is why I called Two Men and a Truck. I spoke to Joe who quoted me by just asking me what was in the house. There was no walk through. The morning the men came the driver immediately said that it will never fit in the truck. He called the office to ask for another truck and one was not available. This all took time and I had to schedule another move. Then the guy who clearly did not want to do the work "hurt" himself??? He then was on the phone arguing with the office to replace him. He did take himself off the clock and sat in the truck while Aaron, the other mover, continued to move. I was told that two more guys were on the way, but received a phone call from Alex who said I needed to pay 30 dollars more and he would send the guys who had not even left the office. Patrick and Damian arrived and started to load the truck at 1:30, with the original arrival time at 10:30AM!!!!!!! The guys loaded the truck and we made a trip; they went back for a second trip, and unpacked as it was getting dark. I ended up helping the movers to expedite the process, and the furniture was placed wherever there was a spot and NOT in the proper room location. Overall, the movers were polite and hard working, and I hope they are compensated for their efforts. The move itself was a disastrous domino effect because of the disorganization that occurred upon booking this company. I was quoted incorrectly, paid OVER a thousand dollars and was not able to budget an adequate tip. The bottom line--if the proper steps (ie, a walkthrough or checklist etc) were taken from the beginning, this series of disappointments would not have taken place. To ask to reschedule a move to another day is so incredibly rude and inconsiderate of the time, energy, and stress that goes in to moving. I can't believe your mover actually asked me that after already being late. Don't hire Two Men and a Truck unless you enjoy being lied to, nobody returning your calls, and don't care about wasting your hard earned PTO for a move-in day. I was moving to an apartment complex with a tight move-in window (3pm - 6pm to use their freight elevators) which I made very clear to the their rep Alex Lyons. At 6pm we would no longer be allowed to use that area, which I reiterated to Alex probably 5-6 times to make sure he completely understood that we had to be done by this time. After speaking to the rep over the phone, I was assured that my movers would be at my apartment between 12:30-3:30, but they would most likely be early or in the beginning of that window. Great. No problem. I called twice, once at 1:30pm and again at 2:30pm to find out where the movers were and at both times was told the head mover would get back to me. Nobody returned my call. At 2:50 I called again and was pushed through to John the manager, who said they were running late and were going to get to my house in 25-30 minutes. At 3:30 I received a call from the mover that they were still at least 30 minutes, away putting them at my house at 4pm because they had to "drop someone off" and "oh, can we schedule this for another day?" So obviously the MANAGER HAD LIED TO US and now we are completely screwed. Unfortunately, we had to completely cancel the move that day and then move about 1/3 of our stuff to the apartment ourselves. Did I mention that this was also my birthday? Absolutely the worst because it's Monday and both my husband and I took off of work to do this. So we waited around until 3:30 to hear that you can't move us in. I just had an encounter with one of the drivers from this company. He backed his truck up into my driveway hitting shrubs and a tree. When he parked 2 houses away I approached him but he ran into the house he was working on. I called the company and asked for the owner who was not available. I have not yet heard from anyone at this company. Apparently this issue is not very important to them. This company is the worst. Used these guys for a move in February, it went smooth...the team showed up on time at the storage facility, wasted no time loading the truck, and unloaded at my new residence without wasting time either. Items were handled with care but unfortunately a ceiling fan was damaged - I was impressed that the moving-team as well as the owner took immediate responsibility for the damage and the repair was done 100% to my satisfaction. Ya, so this company here comes to my downtown St Pete Condo to move me stuff back to Palm Harbor (an easy move) and in the course damages the wood floors and Havertys Bedroom set (Like broke the bed in a few pieces). I took photos and they said i needed to make a claim with some guy named John the manager. After 2 emails and nothing and a few phone calls, i did NOT pay my bill of a ridiculous amount $810 after they destroyed my bed and floors were messed up. Well, they sent me to collections. Instead of reaching out to me to resolve the damages to my property, they send me to collections. Thats cool. I for one will never use this company ever again. Tyler M and Sky were the best- by far - movers in this transition odyssey. They adjusted stacking according to box weight and size, took great care in moving furniture, etc Our current location required carrying all goods & furniture up 2 flights of stairs which they did without complaint. Our condo Nazi manager stood on guard to insure they did just that and therefore was very pleased with us for not breaking the rules. Once again Two Men and a Truck stands up to their crappy reputation. So this story is a repete about a damaged Sony TV that Two Men thought they could replace with in inferior LG. Arrangements were made so that the LG would be picked up and that did happen, and I would get a confirmation email about the pickup and I would get a refund of the cost of my full move and the deposit after they were in possession of the LG. Well no email of course and no refund but they have the TV and thank GOD I took pictures and my security camera has the entire process saved, from the point when Zachary Mortara pulled up in the Two Men truck and the conversation we had at my front door. So, the estimator who came to the house was a nice enough, friendly fellow, and the office administrator helped to get a load of boxes delivered on short notice but, the actual movers broke a walkway light delivering the load of boxes! They hadn't even touched a piece of furniture and had already caused damage. And trying to get some satisfaction on a few contract changes was like pulling teeth! Despite several requests to have the manager call me some could,work things out no one ever called. Very poor, and the walkway light is still broken.
