We were able to do the majority of the rental online the night before, and just finish the paperwork the next day which made the experience quick and painless! The unit we're renting also offers a lot of ceiling space which can be utilized pretty easily for the items we're storing. The website was easy to navigate and quite descriptive about each unit, we really did get exactly what was described. All in all, we've had a great experience so far! The website offered a promotion that made the rent less expensive each month and made this an even more enticing deal, and the great customer service at the office sealed that deal. Parking is very limited and I was overcharged for the uhaul upon close out after hours. After an email was sent inquiring about the extra charges, all the additional charges were taken off. I believe it was a computer glitch. Truck was in good condition and the person working there got me the keys quickly. read more

I can't believe the way the guy working in the office just spoke to me on the phone. I'm almost in tears. We're in the middle of Coronavirus pandemic and I'm 13 days paying my storage fee. I called because, with everyone helping people who can't pay the rent, mortgage payments, car payments ... etc, I said I was surprised they would charge $35 for a late fee for 13 days late. I've paid every month on time but right now we're all struggling. The guy was so rude and said "well, if you had talked to me before you paid it I could have helped you but you didn't!" I said something about the way he was talking to me and he actually repeated what I was saying in a mocking tone. How does a company have a guy like that working in customer service?? I can't believe someone can be that hateful, especially with all that's going on right now. They lost my business. read more

This place has a nice, clean facility. ( if u love black widows) There is one guy who works there and he's cool as heck but I have a huge problem. This being that my payment is due on Sunday and I don't get paid until Monday. The way I'm paid is not going to change so I am afraid this is going to happen every month. There is no grace period either. So I called to see if I could change my date or something so I wouldn't have to pay a late fee. When I explained it to her (her name sandy) she said "I would just have to pay the late fee" . I said "ok thank u". and we hung up." I dunno, maybe it's just me, but why do I get the feeling that there was more she could've done? So now I can look forward to paying late fees? every month?? and that's it?!? So now Rewind back about 2 weeks ago. I ended up getting locked on the storage grounds and yes it was the second time that month I noticed that on other days that they would give me at least 20min or so after closing when I type in the code to leave it would say late checkout granted . This time I was only 15 min past and this time it said late checkout not granted. So now I'm stuck on the premises I saw that someone was there but because I had done this already I was worried about what she would say so I just waited and so eventually she came down and yeah she mentioned the time before when that happen but what she said after that is why I'm writing this review. She said "I hope your not doing this on purpose trying to live here." I thought that was Very inappropriate and I found that highly offensive. I really am going though enough in my life but NO I WAS CERTAINLY NOT doing that deliberately. my stuff is there because I DID have to move unexpectedly, but I WAS NOT evicted. I live with my boy friend now, and I DO NOT need to get myself locked in on purpose. I HAVE somewhere to sleep and I love it there at my boyfriends house. I DO NOT LIVE close by to my storage though. So when I'm there I spend my time cleaning it so I can access all the important things or all of my things so there have been a time or two where I missed closing time cause I couldn't get my stuff back inside the storage soon enough. Many times it hasn't been a problem though I found out ON ACCIDENT that I was aloud 20 minutes or maybe more (I never tested it past 20min cause I wanted to go home.). But the gate code dial box would say late access granted. I'm not sure why some times u can leave anywhere up to 20mim late and why only after 15 min that day It wouldn't. But I'm MORE than willing to pay the25 dollar fine. But for her to embarrass me in that way, by suggesting that i was getting myself locked in deliberately because she thought I was homeless?!? Now she doesn't wanna work with me on my payment situation?!?! I'm an open minded person. So I ask. Is it just me? Is there something I'm missing?? or does she need to brush up on her people/professional skills? I give this place a huge thumbs down for judging me incorrectly and being unreasonable. read more

I rented a 4 X 10 feet unit. When I saw it and it looks small. I was told it's 4x10 and I can measure it if I want to. Few days later, I went and measure it it's not 4 ft is 3 ft 4 in total 40 in not 48 in. I went to the front office spoke to the people, they obviously knew and told me they will forward my complaint to the office. About a week later never heard back from them and I call. now I'm told the ad says it's approximate and I should complain to the headquarter there's nothing they could do. This was my first experience renting a storage space. I stopped by a couple weeks before and was helped by a really nice lady who even directed me to sparefoot to reserve the unit and save extra! I got 50% my first month and on move-in day they even pro-rated it for the remainging few days of the current month! They were extremely helpful and answered all my questions throughly. Unfortunately they raise the rent frequently and all my stuff got covered in dirt and dust and moths ate my expensive clothes. I might as well have put my stuff outside under a tarp. The unit offers only rain protection. read more
