I called on Monday because I had been experiencing gum pain and wanted to be seen. I was told I would be referred to the oral surgeon as in a previous visit I was told I needed my wisdom tooth pulled. She refused to see me after suffering 3 days of pain and no sleep. I called to schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon and they don't even take my insurance. So I made an appointment with the urgent care office and they gave me antibiotics. So I called today to see if she would please squeeze me in as today makes day 7. I was told again she couldn't do anything as she believed it was my wisdom tooth and wouldn't be able to see me. After pleading and having to over talk her to explain that the pain was nowhere near my wisdom tooth she finally decided to schedule me but told me she wouldn't be able to do anything about it. This is unacceptable. I am 8 months pregnant and never thought I would have this experience from a doctor. Doctors have to learn to take black pregnant mothers more serious across the board. It's not just a medical provider issue.

Both my husband and I got excellent cleanings, exams and X-rays done in just over an hour. It seems the corporate places just want to upsell every chance they get. Here it was straightforward and reasonably priced. We didn't use our insurance but quite honestly, in the long run we will SAVE money by paying for cleaning and exams out of pocket.
