She was well worth it (and candidly wasn't too expensive to hire either). Heather managed everything--from coordinating numerous vendors and rentals to handling multiple food options, designing thoughtful centerpieces (without breaking the bank), and bringing in an outstanding DJ who kept guests of all ages fully engaged (which is crucial). One of the things we appreciated most was Heather's transparency and smart budgeting advice. She helped us identify where it made sense to handle certain items ourselves ahead of time--saving us from unnecessary vendor markups--and advised on where to invest for the best impact. Thanks to her, we not only stayed on budget, we saved money in several areas we wouldn't have considered on our own. But maybe most importantly, Heather took the stress off of my wife. However, other than the look on her face when Cinderella walked in, she didn't divulge her secret to her friends.*** They brought in a red velvet throne and a red carpet ...The party package I purchased included 10 girls (including the birthday girl). they charge $10 per child over the max to cover supplies. i had 2 over and they didn't charge me the extra fee because a few of the girls did not participate in the craft/hairdo/makeup. That was so wonderful of them to be so honest! really who does that? most companies would just collect the money because they could. This says a great deal about the character of this company. Cinderella was sweet, had an amazing singing voice. Knew how to read to the children as if she had worked with small children for years. Cinderella had a helper that came along to do the girls hair, while Cinderella did their makeup and made bracelets and colored with the girls. Each girl received a tiara (the birthday girl got an amazing big tiara!) The party was perfect in every way! This was a dream come true for my little girl. Since she will be in 2nd grade next year...this was probably my last chance for such a magical birthday party. A+ to Red Throne...i wouldn't hesitate using them again for my two baby nephews...they have boy characters available too! a few of my friends booked through them that day for a 15% discount ;) fingers crossed that i could have another princess party next year! my daughter is already planning on having Rapunzel here next year...but I am guessing she will change her mind by then..

They also enjoyed toasting with sparking Apple cider in champagne glasses. The girls all enjoyed getting their manicure, pedicure and masks with cucumbers on their eyes. I can't say thank you enough for what she did. The design and styling of the event was top notch and the entire weekend went on flawlessly without a hitch. She executed the whole three-day affair, from rehearsal to rehearsal dinner, the makeup and hair/get ready rooms, ceremony, reception, and post-wedding brunch. She gave us excellent vendor recommendations and was able to get us preferred pricing. I am very disappointed in what Meghan did for my wedding. She was very unorganized, unhelpful, and…read moregenerally a waste of money. I met with her a few times before the wedding, and each time I felt more stressed after talking with her than I did before. On the day of our rehearsal, she double-booked herself. We had previously arranged with her that the rehearsal would start at 6, but she insisted that it was supposed to start at 5:30. She then complained about my pastor and other wedding party members who were late because of a fire. To top it all off, she left around 6:15, which meant that my pastor was forced to run the rehearsal without her (which worked out for the better). In all of the waiting around before we started, she made fun of my family members and was generally rude to everyone. On the day of the wedding, we woke up to pouring rain. I was distraught, as could be imagined with an outdoor wedding. After my bridesmaids and family finally calmed me down, Meghan calls freaking out, asking me what my plans were to deal with the rain. Obviously, this upset me again as she had said that I was not to worry about the rain plans or anything else, especially on the day of the wedding. Everything was worked out by my mom's best friend, who ended up taking on all of the roles that Meghan should have on the day of the wedding. Finally, Meghan just would not leave me alone! She kept talking to me when I was just trying to look around at my wedding, chatting casually with guests instead of working, and did not keep the events of the night moving. I am very disappointed with Meghan's service and hope that others will take my experience into consideration when choosing a wedding planner or coordinator.
