Easy to find We first tried the drive thru but it was not working but they did have a sign to pull up to the window to order but we waited and no one showed up looked busy in side so I just got out. So the location and setup of Extreme Hummus is a bit different - it's in the back of an old shopping center, you can't see it from the street BUT there is signage that IS visible from the street , AND their drive thru has no speaker. I would suggest you drive up to the menu and make your decision and then order your food at the actual window (which does have another copy of the menu attached to it). Last week I decided to order the Falafel Wrap. Due to their drive thru setup if the line gets long sometimes you will be asked to park and they will bring you your food. There was no line so I was told I could stay in the drive thru while I waited for my food. The wait was a bit long as you have to wait for a majority of the items to be made fresh. The wrap was HUGE and had a good amount of falafel in it. The falafel was delicious and had flavor. The young lady that waited on me was very nice. I will definitely be back again and maybe call my order in ahead of time. read more

I specifically drove to this place completely out of my way. I didn't eat here. I had placed my order beef/lamb plate, falafel wrap, side of falafels and then I asked about pitas. I get a pita with my plate? You get half a pita .... Why don't I get a whole pita .... we give you 1/2. I am assuming that when you make a pita sandwich you get a whole pita so why don't you get a whole pita with the plate. It's basically a deconstructed sandwich. I'm sorry if you have to skimp and be stingy with the pita I'm out. I left very disappointed as reviews seem to be good but the idea that you may not have a whole pita to make your own sandwich bothered me. This place is the definition of hidden gem. It is tucked away behind a grocery store and not even facing the main road, however the food makes the hunt worth it. The young staff running the joint were super friendly and the food came out fast. I underestimated this spot for the last 3 years. I assumed it would eventually go out of business like all of the other businesses that have tried to set up shop in this location for the past 17 years I've been trekking to this neighborhood [parents live down the street]. On to the food! Hubs and I ordered a plate combination each plus a side of falafels. The rice that comes with the combination plates was soooooo good! Also, you get to have a pick of hummus. They have original, garlic, spicy, etc. I vote for garlic every time. There is an option for drive through, take out, doordash, or dine in. Hubs and I dined in. There are a few tables but to be honest, this isn't a place you go for ambiance- strictly food! The portions are hefty, prices are reasonable, and the flavor is out of this world. I tried this place once years ago as a teen and I'm not sure why it's been so long since I came back. Definitely did not disappoint! Most recently, I'd been going to Nick the Greek when I wanted a gyro fix, but Extreme Hummus definitely takes the cake with its flavors. One thing I would change is the portion between the Triple Sampler's pita bread to hummus ratio. We had a ton of hummus leftover, but nothing to eat it with. I offered to buy a couple of my friends dinner for helping me out with a project recently. We decided on Extreme Hummus because two of us eat vegan and one wanted meat. I called in a phone order and clarified which hummus was vegan (sadly most of them actually contain dairy), confirmed that they do still make a vegan tzatziki option for the dolma, and then ordered our falafel gyros vegan style and the meat plate for our other friend. When we arrived, we walked in to pick up the order because they had shut the drive thru and were winding down for the night. I wanted to confirm our order before we left and opened the container to our gyros. Instantly I knew that the mess smothered on top of them was dairy, but I clarified anyway since the dolmas clearly had the vegan tzatziki. Right away the young guy behind the counter copped an attitude and rudely insisted I didn't tell him vegan when I ordered. Say what? When I pointed out that we discussed vegan hummus and that he also clearly heard me say vegan when I ordered the dolma (since that part of our order was made correctly) he then proceeded to try to argue with me. Very loudly. To the point that his coworker stepped in and told him to calm down and offered to remake our gyros for us. Sadly, the kitchen had already started to clean up for the night so we left without gyros because I explained that they were inedible to us. I understand mistakes happen, but it's inexcusable for anyone at a business to start yelling and arguing with a paying customer. Period. And, for the record, people who don't eat dairy are super careful when they order because they DON'T WANT TO GET SICK! I see now that the reviews of this place have started to trend negatively due to the service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I'll gladly find my falafel fix elsewhere without the yelling. read more

I wouldn't say this is "fast" food, but still love that you can drive through. You can order online, which is so convenient and easy! I simply pull up to drive through and pick up my online order. I was in a sudden craving for some good arab chicken and rice plate so on to Yelp for a search which brought me here! Husband and I really enjoyed our plates: chicken kabob for me and gyros for him. In addition, we got the Greek fries which was perfect comfort snack at best! Skinny fries drizzled with tzaziki and feta cheese-oh yes! My kabob were very moist while being grilled. Everything tasted fresh. I was able to sub in the baba ghanoush for my hummus. I would suggest a little salt for that and the hummus but that might be my preference. The salad was a little measly we both thought consisting of shredded cabbage and lettuce..diced cucumbers, olives and maybe onions like a Greek salad would be great. After I informed them they got my order wrong (entered wrong in their system), they seemed confused as to how to correct it. Then, they said they would correct but I'd have to pay $2 extra because the correct order should have cost $2 more. When they gave us the correct wraps, the wraps had such little meat than my son called it a cabbage wrap, not lamb and beef wrap. So not only did they make me late with the wrong order but I had to pay more for a cheaper product. Very disappointed. They could have handled it differently and received high ratings on Yelp. It's ok to make occasional mistakes, but how you react is what sets apart businesses with good customer service. Sorry, I really wanted to give you 5 stars. read more
