We visited twice in one weekend for two different birthday parties. Kids had fun and that is really what matters. This place is hidden in the woods. The whole area is on a slope that seems a bit dangerous. The parking lot is unpaved and fairly eroded. Pulling out of the lot is difficult given the untrimmed foliage blocking the view of the main road. The site is a hike up a hill and is set mostly on the slope. The facility seems to need some TLC. Exposed rusted nails on the picnic bench could be a trip to the ER and a tetanus shot! If the area outside the paintball area has these safety issues, what about where it matters? read more

We played paintball here for my friend's 28th birthday party. The employees were very helpful and did a fantastic job of regulating the games; their highest priority was safety. This was my first time ever doing paintball and I could tell we were in good hands. It was really exhilarating and fun to have some competition among friends. The employees even generously gave us an extra canister of paintballs near the end when we were running low. It was a really fun, enjoyable, and interactive way to spend a few hours shooting with and at each other. read more

Another memorable birthday party in the books! This is our 3rd time here and 2nd bday party. Despite the rain washing things out a bit early we had no complaints! Staff was helpful and great with the kids and everyone had a blast. We love it here. Highly recommended. read more

Nope. No....what a terrible experience. If you aren't with a league you get the worst service. Basically they care more about the repeat customer. Well gee maybe be nicer and other people will become repeats. Plenty of other paintball options in CT read more

Good location, nice place in the woods... Everything is a little expensive and the staff was mediocre, they seemed like they had little experience and didn't enjoy their job. While I was there a kids car got stolen, so if you come here make sure you lock everything up! read more

What can I say.... my experience here was pretty good for the first few rounds. staff was amazing with getting us set up and making sure everyone was up to par with the equipment and knowledge of the equipment. I gave it two stars based off my experience with the other people included with our party.... first a 7 year old was allowed to play even though the waiver states they have to be 10. Round 1 & 2 we played against professionals who had their own guns and pretty much annihilated our team of newbies, and who were also cheating because we shot them out multiple times and they did not leave the game. I was shot a few times after calling out but the guy came over and apologized saying that is gun just shoots out like that. Round 3 of playing myself and another female were bullied on the field. While playing we put our hands and guns up to say we were out, the ref yelled to the other team we were out and they just continued to shoot at us and laughed as they did so. I stood behind a tree hiding as they shot at me and a tree for about 2 minutes. 3-4 people and a barrage of shooting. The other girl to my right stood up from behind her barrier and said I'm out, hands in the air and gun in the air and the same happened to her. So here we are me and her hiding behind barriers while being used as target practice with the reps yelling at the team to stop shooting. At one point I took my mask off and yelled "I'm fucking out stop shooting me" in which they fired a few more shots before stopping. Needless to say I was pissed as I had 2 open wounds on my arm and one on my back from being hit. I yelled at the other team while I left the field I yelled at the refs as I left the field. Things turn a turn for the worst as i was with family and they don't tolerate disrespect of any kind towards the women in their family. Needless to say I went home with tons of bruises. This disrespectful display is the reason why I don't feel comfortable here, there needs to be better screening of the people who are allowed to play and the fact that they don't follow the rules even when told by staff they should have them banned. Smh, great experiences turned horrible! I have to say Benny and the girl ref with him were great throughout, they did their very best to get this situation under control, but when you have rouge aggressive people on the field who are looking to feel empowered because they haven't worked thru their life issues it's never safe. read more

My family went as a group of 4. My children are 12 and 19. This was my first trip playing paintball. After check in we were told to wait at a table to get instructions and guns. A large group of teens joined us along with a 2 group. We were introduced to Joe, our ref, and he went over how the guns worked. We took our gear to a nearby tables to get set up. While we were doing this another man came over and said that he would be our ref. At first I though ok now I know what both of them look like. The large group of teens started off towards the field with Joe so I hurried my familky to catch up. That's when the other ref called us back to say that we were going in a different group. What he didn't say is that we were going with the competition team, advance level players. We waited for everyone to get their air and left for the field. We had a quick stop to check that all the guns fired (as far as I could tell no one checked the speed of the guns that were brought in by the team). We were then sent to the "tank" field. The field has several tank shaped plywood structures. You can't stand on them or get them with the exception of a wooden hull that is mostly just a frame. It is also set in the side of a steep hill. The ref explained to the other ref how to do his job (I guess it was his first day) and then "split" us into two teams. The competition team of 7 was allowed to stay together while we were grouped with another group of 4 who also had rented guns. We were then given bright orange plastic bands to tie to our arms so that we would know what team we were on. The first game went ok. The second game a small group of new players were added to the other team. I was hit so hard in the chest that I fell backwards. That didn't stop the game though, nor the shooting. After I was down I was shot again in the arm. The third game added more people to the other side, and they brought the heavy artillery and underhanded tactics. After declaring himself out and walking towards the dead area my husband was shot in the back of the neck. This also did not stop the game nor did the refs call anything for the infraction. The force of the other teams guns caused the paintball to leave marks in the dirt around me but my gun couldn't shoot even 1/2 the distance of theirs. We suspect that they were using some other type of gas in their canisters rather than the air we got from the rental. How else could their guns shoot twice the distance that ours could? I was eventually shot 5 times in the chest. 3 after I called out and then another round hit my hand causing my finger to swell. This still did not stop the game even though I walked off in tears and unable to breathe. The refs mostly stood in the entrance of the zone or the middle of the field between the two sides. The only time they made a comment about rules was when a guy raised his mask to wipe it down because he couldn't see out of it. If you are not part of an organized, competition level team, or purchasing a party package where you will have the entire field for just your group then it's not worth going. They make no attempt to enforce any rule other than keep your head gear on. read more

Bought a groupon for a birthday party. We arrived at 9:30 for 10 man start. Was smooth checkin and we got a private table. Had a blast - the staff was helpful and the kids had tons of fun. Paintballs weren't included in Groupon and they are a little pricey at almost $80 for a box of 2,000. You don't think you'll need that many but we almost immediately needed a second box. Told kids to use judiciously! Overall was a really good time. read more

I played here every weekend last year! And opening day is this weekend, the best place in Connecticut to play paintball, I say that because it's the least expensive, all good fields, I've had plenty of great times here and will continue to be a regular until I move to Florida! Staff is fair and don't pick (favorites) the guy who wrote the review under me about the person car being stolen, happened one time, and LIKE ANY PAINTBALL PLACE, keep your stuff close and secure. Held a bachelor party battle here last weekend for my brother. We had a private party of 19 guys, and I have to say it was an absolute blast. Everyone had an awesome time and the staff was very professional. Our refs name was mike and he really helped make games fair and fun. Overall I really enjoyed the organization and planning of the event the crew there helped me with, as well as the fun filled day of paintball. Only knock is that the paint was a bit on the expensive side compared to other fields I've been to, but not too bad. read more
