When I called back to ask about the breakdown of charges, the price changed again. It didn't seem like they knew what they were charging me for. But I paid it. Then they called AGAIN to ask for more money. I asked for a breakdown to be emailed to me. #2 My husband got a call and text that his glasses were ready, he took time off work to come pick them up and they said their system sent the messages in error. #3 Then when my husband called to ask about the referral credit not showing up, the front desk said Office Manager Kristi will call my husband. And then emailed saying she DID call and leave a voicemail. Which she did not. He called again and Kristi was condescending and said "it just doesn't make sense for us to do that for a nuclear family, what if you had 8 kids?" I said, "Well your flyer specifically states "Refer a friend or family member and receive a $20 credit on your account. Just tell the friend or family member to let us know you referred them!" We did just that on the intake." Kristi said she would honor a $20 referral credit but we would not be allowed to refer anyone else to them and she is going to reprint all of their flyers to exclude the nuclear family. LOL. I'm surprised how rude and abrasive she was. Your advertising is misleading and yeah you SHOULD fix it. I've literally referred my husband to every doctor I have and my dentist is awesome and gives $50 credits, no cap. Ha. No issues with the doctor or eye test parts of our visit, the eye tech guy was super sweet, but we won't be back. They have too many problems to deal with and we spent over $1,000 there after insurance. They can keep their $20 referral credit and they just lost me, my husband, and I was going to refer my mom who needs an exam and glasses.

I told him I didn't want glasses, I wanted contacts. I was talked into getting glasses for those days contacts didn't feel good. The glasses left me feeling like I was in a fish bowl. Everything warped and disturbed. They insisted the prescription was right. It worsened after my procedure. I had to go in for a follow-up and yes my prescription changed. I again said I wanted contacts. We talked about gas permiable lenses. And he told the young lady that was taking notes that he was good with me getting contact lenses. Everything was measured. When I requested my script so I could get them cheaper else where they did not include my contact script. When I contacted them about it I was told they didn't have one. I expressed my anger very politely. I was told since I was going to need to be checked in a couple of months they would not honor my contact prescription, and wouldn't give it to me. I'm other words it's all about the money. The glasses they insisted I purchase still don't work. No matter what I say they will not fix this issue. Please please please save your money!! They are the worst optometrists I in Idaho.

We would not trust them going forward and strongly caution others to think twice before choosing this practice. During a routine annual eye exam, a technician took my husband glasses to inspect them while initial scans were being completed. The glasses were returned to us in the exam room with deep symmetrical scratches down the center of both lenses, damage that was not present when we arrived. We immediately pointed this out to both the technician and the doctor. At checkout, we asked a simple question: What is my husband supposed to do until we can come back to pick out and order news ones in the meantime? Initially, the office denied responsibility, but after the office manager spoke with the technician they did concede that the damage had occurred while the glasses were in their care. We were assured they wanted to make this right and the lenses would be replaced and that the process would take about a week. Which we appreciated.... However, that was almost a month ago now. Since then, we have followed every instruction given to us, shown up for each appointment they told us to, and waited, often more than an hour per visit, even with scheduled appointments! After the first delay, we were told the lenses had finally arrived but that we still needed to schedule an appointment to have them installed. When we came in for that appointment, we learned they had ordered the wrong lenses entirely, single-vision reading lenses instead of a direct replacement of his progressive lenses, making them unsafe and unusable for driving. They acknowledged their mistake and ordered another set. At yet another scheduled appointment, we were told that the lenses once again could not be installed because their "cutting machine made an error" and the lenses don't fit his frames. We were then told, yet again, to wait until next week. Currently my husband still does not have the glasses he needs and is left to use the ones this office damaged. This was not a cosmetic issue or a minor inconvenience, these are medically necessary glasses that affect his ability to function safely and work comfortably day to day. We don't want them to give us some new fancy frames or make improvements on the old lenses, we have just asked for the simplest and quickest way to repair the ones that were damaged. Had we known what we do now, we would have simply ordered new glasses originally or taken the more updated RX to another provider and ordered them then. At every step, their mistakes have resulted in our time, energy, and patience being drained. We have been understanding. We have been cooperative. We have jumped through every hoop asked of us. A almost a month later, we are no closer to a resolution, and being told to just wait again feels highly unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed and expected better from Dr. Bjorn and his staff.
