Pros - Amazing building, and staff, but the outstanding element that I received was the care, and attention on my eye exam, and prescription. Probably the best prescription in eye care that I've had in years, so I'm so glad that I chose this as my new eye care location! Cons - They're automated text messages need some work, because I got an urgent appointment reminder over a month before my appointment, and then later, after I picked up my new eyewear I got a message that it was ready to come and pick up. read more

Not impressed. Eyes on Meridian was highly raved about in my local facebook community. My husband signed up and referred me on the intake form. #1 They undercharged me at my visit, and called to ask for more money the week of Christmas. When I called back to ask about the breakdown of charges, the price changed again. It didn't seem like they knew what they were charging me for. But I paid it. Then they called AGAIN to ask for more money. I asked for a breakdown to be emailed to me. #2 My husband got a call and text that his glasses were ready, he took time off work to come pick them up and they said their system sent the messages in error. #3 Then when my husband called to ask about the referral credit not showing up, the front desk said Office Manager Kristi will call my husband. And then emailed saying she DID call and leave a voicemail. Which she did not. He called again and Kristi was condescending and said "it just doesn't make sense for us to do that for a nuclear family, what if you had 8 kids?" I said, "Well your flyer specifically states "Refer a friend or family member and receive a $20 credit on your account. Just tell the friend or family member to let us know you referred them!" We did just that on the intake." Kristi said she would honor a $20 referral credit but we would not be allowed to refer anyone else to them and she is going to reprint all of their flyers to exclude the nuclear family. LOL. I'm surprised how rude and abrasive she was. Your advertising is misleading and yeah you SHOULD fix it. I've literally referred my husband to every doctor I have and my dentist is awesome and gives $50 credits, no cap. Ha. No issues with the doctor or eye test parts of our visit, the eye tech guy was super sweet, but we won't be back. They have too many problems to deal with and we spent over $1,000 there after insurance. They can keep their $20 referral credit and they just lost me, my husband, and I was going to refer my mom who needs an exam and glasses. read more

Dr. Livingston was great. The service with everyone else was great too. I got some eye glasses and there were a few issues. No problems with getting a different prescription. I will definitely go back. Only issue is insurance. I'm in network for the visit but they won't run it for me. I have Kaiser Permanente of WA and they are contracted with Aetna which they are in network with. I've been having issues getting reimbursed because KP's system thinks if I submit a claim it has to be out of network, but it is not. Someone at KP is working on it. I wouldn't think it is any more difficult to submit a claim with them than anyone else but I have never done it so I'm not sure. I wish they would provide this service, then it would be perfect. read more

I love Eyes on Meridian. They have the newest technology (to my knowledge). They could even do an eye exam without dilating my eyes and diagnosed my cataract. The person that helped me select my frame was wonderful and really listened to what I was looking for. read more

It's been at least 10 (if not 15) years since I've had my eyes checked. I knew it was about time when I started squinting to get my eyes to adjust correctly. I've been in the treasure valley for a little over 4 years, but I always appreciate the recommendations of others. I was guided to Eyes on Meridian for my eye exam and I was not disappointed at all. The staff was incredibly efficient and helpful. I felt that my appointment length was appropriate and their prices (along with my insurance) was incredibly reasonable. Low and behold, I needed glasses. Eyes on Meridian have staff members to help find you great frames for your face at an appropriate cost. I am looking forward to picking up my new specs and I am really looking forward to visiting them again for my eye exam next year. Highly recommend!! read more

What a great office! Everyone was so very friendly and helpful. I appreciate being able to book online and fill in my information. Was warmly greeted upon arrival and received professional care with even a kind offer of a bottle water while I waited. Dr Livingston was very thorough, making sure all of my questions and concerns were answered. After my eye exam it was time for updated prescription. Again well taken care of by figuring out the best glasses for my needs. (It was even a cheaper option!) Highly recommend this office! Service was professional, very little wait time, exam was thorough, doctor was easy to work with. Only issue is they don't bill my insurance and some things I was hoping to do (but I had forgotten to ask about) weren't brought up, such as lens coating and transition lenses. I also didn't realize there were different warranties for the different glasses I purchased. Name brand glasses case doesn't fit where needed, too big/awkward, and regular glasses case comes unglued inside. Professionalism and expertise are highly recommended. read more

This is my second review for Eyes on Meridian and I can't say enough positive things about this place. They continue to amaze me with their customer service and professionalism. Today I had to bring my youngest son with me for my annual exam and they were so accommodating with him, patient with me, and even gave him some awesome sunglasses as a prize for being so good. Service is consistently great at Eyes on Meridian! This is second time getting my exam here. Dr. Livingston is thorough and takes time to explain the test results and answers all of my questions. They didn't carry a certain brand of multi focal contact lenses but offered to order them for me to try them out first, which I think is awesome. read more

The best optometrist office!! I went in today for an annual exam because I have not had my eye health checked since I moved to Boise. The front desk staff was so friendly and once they found out I am turning 21 this Sunday they gifted me a Starbucks gift card! It is evident that this office goes above and beyond to support their patients and provide excellent customer service. Dr. Livingston was amazing!! It felt less like a check up and more like chatting with a friend. She is very personable and goes out of her way to ensure her patients are taken care. This was my first time at Eyes of Meridian and I was throughly impressed! The staff is so wonderful, kind and personable. There technology is very up to date with the times so that was an awesome experience. Dr.Livingston is extremely knowledgeable and great and at explaining information so that it is digestible.
