When I saw the doctor he actually YELLED at me because I didn't know whether I was there for an annual checkup or a medical exam. He left the room, went and checked with his staff who apparently told him that they had told me to come in and they would figure out what type of visit it would be when I got there. He came back in and apologized but I could tell he was still angry. Totally inappropriate reaction! The office staff was absolutely wonderful, but I will never go there again.

Not true. They don't even fit my head (too small). Brand new. My frames were worn as they were my favorite sunglasses. I am furious. Hailey tells me they should have collected the money up front but for whatever reason they only collected fees for one pair of glasses when I brought them in. The first frames came back in about 4 weeks and when I asked about the sunglasses I was told it would be another 2 weeks. When I went in to pick them up, I had to remind her I needed to pay or she wouldn't even have collected the money. This is all very suspicious. I think they lost them or decided to take them for themselves. I am furious Hailey would even try to pass the cheap frames off that I received back. Very upset

After having an eye exam and then liking some Oakley Frames, and being quoted over $250 in store for the frames at Pearle Vision in Boise, I looked online and through EZ Contacts found the same item for $122.78. (Less than half price). I was told from the manager that I was welcome to purchase the frames elsewhere and they would still make and install lenses for me. When my frames arrived I went in (today) and was now informed that I would have to pay an extra $25 fee for using my Frames. She tried to explain it as an extra time cost for using my frames because they had to take extra time being careful... B.S. I already had to sign a release of liability in case they break them). I feel taken advantage of, being over charged for no reason that justifies the charge and plan to file a complaint. I already signed a release of liability, the company already utilizes these frames (so why the upcharge)? Why the 100 percent markup on frames? MONEY MONEY MONEY ! this is not a company that cares about its customers it only cares about generating excessive profits. I will not come back to this company again. After leaving this as a google Review, Terry the office manager threatened to cancel my lenses, and refund my insurance because of the negative review. This is not a place I would recommend and I plan to contact the state board to report the dishonesty and lack of transparency as well as the outrageous insurance gouging.

Dr. Fronk came highly recommended and provided a thorough exam and was a very personable professional. I continued to be impressed as I moved on to picking out new glasses frames. The selection was great and the staff was very helpful, James in particular. I've now worked with James to pick out both glasses and sunglasses and he has been so tremendously helpful in helping me identify the glasses that fit me best. Patients shouldn't have to chase down updates or feel like their situation isn't being taken seriously. I was told my glasses would be ready in two weeks and we're rolling on five weeks now with no other answer other than the lab messed up. There's definitely potential here, but until that level of accountability and communication is in place, I can't recommend this office--especially if your needs are time-sensitive or critical for your work. They actually had the audacity to explain to my wife when she questioned where my glasses were, that I added a bunch of additional services to my glasses. Let's get one thing very clearly understood, all of the services that I had added, were recommendations! It's not like I walked off the street and demanded these things be done. I discovered this place during a summer neighborhood party. The moment I walked in I knew I needed to move eye doctors. I asked a million questions to Deanna about the new business, what insurance they accept, and also if I could have a chocolate. Just like at home! I also now call and Deanna knows exactly who she is chatting with and thankfully she always gets me in for an appointment. I think the thing I like the best about Barber Town is obviously the small town eye doctor feel but I also love that they are everyday people. I feel like I have known both for ages, like I have grownup visiting for my eye check every year. The place is clean, hip, and welcoming. I never wait long, or at all. During busy Bown Crossing times, I can see parking being difficult but I go around 4:00 pm and it hasn't been a problem. I would like to compare this college for some reason.
