I'm confident in saying that Six One Six is by far, one of the best vision care facilities I have ever been to. I came here because they were one of the few places that took my horrible vision insurance from a previous job I had. I finally moved companies and now have exceptional coverage, yet found no reason to switch providers, regardless of the abundance of in-network and closer vision options to me. I have never experienced any issues regarding care, appointments, communication or billing in the 4 years I've been a customer. In fact, I've experienced exceptionally personalized, professional and authentic care from day one. I've had the absolute pleasure of being Dr Shelby Strick's patient from the get-go and am consistently comforted by her attention to detail, assurance and easy-to-understand explanation on everything I'm experiencing. Allie is usually the one that takes care of me with picking out eyewear, fittings and reviewing my bill. She is truly exceptional...with her patience, support to ensure you're getting what you need within budget (but still looking hot in your specs) and most of all, how approachable and friendly she is. I went to Eagle Vision Over to get an eye exam and a referral since I needed a YAG procedure. The…read moredoctor gave me an eye exam told me I needed glasses before I had the procedure. I told him I didn't want glasses, I wanted contacts. I was talked into getting glasses for those days contacts didn't feel good. The glasses left me feeling like I was in a fish bowl. Everything warped and disturbed. They insisted the prescription was right. It worsened after my procedure. I had to go in for a follow-up and yes my prescription changed. I again said I wanted contacts. We talked about gas permiable lenses. And he told the young lady that was taking notes that he was good with me getting contact lenses. Everything was measured. When I requested my script so I could get them cheaper else where they did not include my contact script. When I contacted them about it I was told they didn't have one. I expressed my anger very politely. I was told since I was going to need to be checked in a couple of months they would not honor my contact prescription, and wouldn't give it to me. I'm other words it's all about the money. The glasses they insisted I purchase still don't work. No matter what I say they will not fix this issue. Please please please save your money!! They are the worst optometrists I in Idaho.

Eagle One thinks these failures are ok and they noted I will get new glasses in a few months but NOT FROM THEM. Brief history: I purchased these frames two critical reasons and a third. First the fit nice and snug. Due to my lenses glasses often slip down my noise, a significant issue for me. Purchased two pair on 10/22/2024 for $966.00 First pair picked up 11/3/2024, and second on 11/13/2024 I believe between 11/13/2024 and Feb 20, 2025 there were several visits regarding frames slipping. The first day I have notes of frame issue is Feb 20, 2025. I believe there were several visits from Feb 20 to July where I went in due to frame slipping down. I finally figured out why the glasses were slipping down my noise and I would have to push them up 3-5 times per hour was on July 17, 2025 when I compared the two frames, one had the rubber ear section and one had them missing. First frame replaced. On Aug 4, 2025 frame replaced again On Aug 13, 2025 another frame replace (waved $25 fee) On Sept 8 2025 both frames were replaced, and I meet with Eagle Vision One Management to bring up the issues. No options as it was outside the 30 or 90 day window. (waved the $25 fees) On Oct 22 Frame failure again, replaced with display model (offer to pay the 25 fee but waved) They would have allowed me to choose new frames if they had failed within 90 days. Quality products are not their game.

LASIK would not give me the results I wanted with not needing to wear glasses anymore. Dr Grange sat and explained to me the benefits of lens replacement surgery with full details. I signed up right away and had both eyes done on the same day. I felt no pain through the quick procedure and only felt minor discomfort. That discomfort being staring at a bright light and feeling solution pour into my eyes. Medication given to me had me calm and relaxed so there was no issues. That day I went home and slept most of the day. Next morning, I was able to read my phone with no glasses. My vision improved everyday. My first follow up my vision was 20/20. Second follow up 20/15 and by last follow up my vision was 20/10. Best decision I could have made!

I'm about two weeks post-surgery, and I wanted to take my time with this review…read more Let me start by saying how impressed I am with Dr. Grange and his team. They're incredibly fast and efficient, but they also take the time to answer any questions or make any changes you might need. As a black and white person, I had expected just what I had read, but it wasn't "quite" as expected. On the day of surgery, I arrived an hour early and got a series of drops, four at a time. They told me it was painless, but the first eye I did experience some discomfort, which lasted about 24 hours. The next eye, I got one more drop of numbing liquid, and that did the trick. Everyone is different, so I can't say for sure if this will happen to you. I will say that the best way to spend the day of surgery is to sleep if you can. Mild pain relief is a must, and the healing process is as fast as described. I had a scratching feeling, but that went away in 24 hours. So far, the results have been great. I chose the best lenses so I could finally get rid of my glasses. Before, I had to wear them for everything. Two weeks out, I don't need glasses for anything, and you won't the next day! That said, it's not all roses. My current vision is around 20-25. Will it improve? Driving at night, I have bright rings around things like traffic lights! Some people say it will go away, while others say you get used to it. I'm a bit nervous because I love to travel, and I'm not comfortable driving at night right now. This is a process, and your mind needs time to adjust to the changes. I'll keep my positive attitude and see where this takes me. Since I haven't seen any other doctors, it's hard to compare, but I don't think you can go wrong with Dr. Grange and his staff. Any results I'm experiencing are a result of cataract surgery and not necessarily the way it was performed.
