Best barber shop in Mid City! They will get you right just book an appointment on the Booksy app.

Ask for Sway! Gave me a great fade on the sides and texturized the top really well! He is the type to give a cut with extra precision.

Trash. Terrible. I didn't visit this place. The vibe was off because the owner didn't respond. I needed a cut for my wedding, and this guy never got back to me. read more

Sway set me up with a great cut. It was my first barber visit in years and I was lucky to be super happy with the results. Also the guys were very nice and fun to talk to. They show sports on the tv which is a great convo starter and way to pass the time. The music was great inside too. read more

Eye Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Eye (Isaiah) has built a team of some of the best barbers in the Los Angeles area. These guys create a true barbershop experience while paying attention to every detail you need for your haircut. Hegi is a master with the clippers and is always making sure you love your cut. Attentive and great personality - he's a good person to chat with during your cut too. I've also gotten cut by Jose and Eye and they both are master barbers. read more

For men with straight hair and a medium-length or longer hairstyle, pay the price for a proper salon elsewhere. My specific request for "a light trim with only 1.5 inch off of the top and 0.5 inch off of the sides" resulted in a hatchet job that left $300 worth of highlights piled on the floor and whitewall tires above my ears. My hair hasn't looked this ridiculous since a regrettable high school experiment in 1995 ‍ read more

I found this barbershop on the website. Read the reviews and they sold me. Mike was the Barber who cut my hair. I explained to him what was going on with my hair. Who knew what to do. He did an excellent job! Left me a very happy customer and a return customer at that. read more

If you're looking for a barbershop in Los Angeles, you should look no further than this one. The shop is clean and the music that's played is always on point. I have been going to Eye for years now and never have I ever been disappointed. Not only do you get a quality cut, he truly gives you a full experience and helps you get whatever style you're looking for. Not only that, he teaches you how to style your hair, so you're able to get the look down on a consistent basis when you're styling it at home. He also makes you feel comfortable and welcomed by communicating with you, something a client and a barber must need in order to obtain the exact look that's desired. Give this shop a try and I guarantee you won't regret it. You get what you pay for and this shop is well worth the money spent. read more

Sooo... I was going to update my review on this barber shop to once again show my appreciation for Eye and his willingness to accommodate my hectic schedule before I travel for work every month (not to mention, the giving the best cut I've had since I moved to LA), but I couldn't find my review. I realized, I wasn't logged in to my yelp account but found my review surprisingly under the "Not Recommended" reviews. After logging in though, I was even more disturbed by the fact that after opening the Eye Barbershop page, my review was NOW the first one that popped up and under the RECOMMENDED section?! Tried on multiple browsers, cleared my cache, even tried between my phone and the laptop and no change.. It's like my review was being filtered out only for the general public, but then I was being head-faked into thinking it was still there.. seems shady. Regardless, I hope that this review doesn't get filtered also because Eye's workmanship and customer service really deserves to be recognized by the LA Community. Yelp, if you have questions about my legitimacy as a customer or would like to see proof of payment for my monthly visit to this shop, please do not hesitate to contact me via DM through your platform. Thanks! read more

I've been going to Isaiah for years! He is hands-down, if not the best, one of the best barbers in LA! His customer service skills are always on point, even though he is always booked, he tries doing his best to fit his customers in! You walk into the shop, and he greets you like you we're walking into his home. The vibe is lowkey, and toned down. Not only does he get to cut your hair, but he gets to know his clients. My recommendation would be to book Isaiah in advance and not expect to get booked a day before, or hours before. He tries to book everyone in, and has appointment slots. Even though he cuts big time celebrities, he remains humble and will do his best to squeeze you in! read more

You can pretty much stop looking for a dope barber because this is it!! I came in with a Nappy fro and left with a cut that had my fam and strangers turning heads and giving complements. You know a cut is good when people tell you how much you must have paid for a cut. LOL!!! "Hey Dude you must have paid like $100 for that cut, I just laugh and keep it pushinn" The spot is clean and chill. Make an appointment and he is there waiting for you to sit in the chair. No stalling, just in the door and in the chair! I don't know about you but my time is valuable. Thanks a lot Isaiah for providing top notch service! read more

Got my haircut here a week ago, really well done and fast! Highly recommend it !!!!!!

Look no further.. This is THE BEST Barbershop in LA! Isaiah is a master with the clippers and possesses a keen attention to detail. He is also a pleasure to be around and his passion for cutting shines through his work. As you may know, when moving to a new city finding a new barber can be quite difficult and stressful. I am very particular when it comes to my hair and must have tried 4 or 5 high-end shops when I moved to LA last summer. Then I discovered EYE Barbershop, and after my first cut, I knew right away that my search was over. I have been coming here for about a year now and this review is well overdue, but very necessary. Do yourself a favor and book your next cut at EYE Barbershop! read more

Found this spot on Yelp one day on my way home from work so I figured I check it out so I sent the owner Isaiah a message to schedule an appointment. I got there and met with my barber Brian and told him what kind of cut I wanted and sat in the chair. The haircut was smooth and pretty quick but what I appreciated was the attention to detail that Brian put into my haircut along with giving me hands down the best fade & lineup I've gotten from any barber I've gone too. Overall Brian & Isaiah were cool people and it felt like I've been going to them for a while even though it was my first time. I'll be going back forsure. read more

I gave em a little direction of what I wanted and let them take it from there. My cut came out hella clean. These guys are dope; easy to talk to and really chill. Appointment only but that's cool, they're super responsive. For the cut I get, the price is good. They are attentive and take their time with your hair to make sure you look fresh AF. Keep it up dudes. read more

I have never been one to write yelp reviews but save yourself the hassle and find another barber elsewhere. Trying to book an appointment is like trying to pull teeth. After finally managing to snag a spot the barber canceled on me and I was still charged a $55 cancelation fee. Just because they give Aaron Donald a line-up they think they're "celebrity barbers" and think they can treat regular joe shmoe's however they please. Avoid Eye Barbershop at all costs. read more

This barbershop is amazing! I had Brian cut my hair and the whole experience was great. Good pricing, and very cool employees. Definitely a place I would come back to. If you want a clean, blended cut: This is the place. read more

I been coming to Jose (@phatboythekidd) for years. He gives the cleanest fades around. Always gives great customer service and pays great attention to details. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This review is strictly from my experience trying to book an appointment. I sent a message early today asking about scheduling a cut and got response from the owner, Isaiah with "sorry can't help you, my barber quit this week" and some other none sense. Could easily said, I'm booked up for the next couple weeks but holla at me the next time, but nah, basically told me to go elsewhere. Plenty of other talented barbers in LA way less pretentious with 10x better customer service. read more

Haircut came out good. Service was good. Good place to get a cut. Pretty over priced for a standard haircut. Barber was cool.

I only be trusting eye with my line-ups and my mid tapers because i've tried others and I wasn't really feeling them at all . Fr though. He always coming thru when I'm trynna change up my hairstyles. 5/5 if you want a clean cut. I'm usually one of the young ones that come thru but it's always cool that eye treats me like one of his own. read more

Barbershop is going to be a serious problem in Mid City. Isaiah the owner of the shop is definitely the best barber in Los Angeles, not to sound bias. Very Humble person, and is dedicated to making your hair look great. Known him ever since I was looking for a Barber in Mid city, and he finally here, I haven't let anyone touch my hair since him. Great Peoples to me. read more

This spot is now officially my spot to go to. Not only is it convenient for me since I live so close but the quality is great! I can tell these guys really enjoy what they do. I think I found my new Barber. If you want a quality haircut this is the place to go. They have 7+ years of experience and mind you this is quality of experience. You can tell by the attention of detail. If a man puts his full attention to his work with this many years of experience. You know you're never going to get a bad haircut. There's experience vs quality and then there's quality of experience. I got Isiah, built very good rapport during my cut and he even has a drape that frees your hands. Never had that type of drape but it makes a difference. Didn't make me feel contained and gives you the ability to browse on your phone. It's right off the freeway and not too far. Going back for sure. I would have gave 5/5 but I always believe there's always room for improvement. read more

I went today to get a haircut. I made an appointment for 2 p.m. However it was 2:30 p.m. and I was still not being attended. I decided to leave. If I place have appointment only system and you are not getting your haircut on the set time, what is the point of bothering with making an appointment? I would not have mind making an appointment for 2:30 or 3pm but when I asked them through Yelp and they replied that they could see me at 2 p.m. read more

Recently found this Barbershop on yelp and checked them out on IG I liked what I saw so I decided to give them a try and I am definitely their newest faithful customer. Great experience! I sent a message and got a response within minutes (truly appreciate that) I got an appointment set up right away with Isaiah. When we arrived we didn't wait long, I liked that it was true to appointment time and he gave my kid exactly what he wanted. The music playing was cool, overall a nice clean shop. The price wasn't bad, you get what you pay for and it is definitely the cleanest cut my kid has EVER had. read more

New to the area and have been trying to find a legit barber for some time now. Everyone knows how hard that can be. Thought I might get lucky with this place because of the reviews on YELP. The site said the best way to get a haircut was to book an appointment. Sadly, I wasted the last two weeks trying to book one. I told Isaiah, the so called owner that I worked Mon - Fri and could only do weekends, preferably in the morning but I'm flexible. That seemed fine until later in the week when I tried to see what time I could come in and all I got were one worded cagey responses. I'm actually still on HOLD for my appointment tomorrow, but I wont hold my breath. Dude has no customer services skills, get a secretary that can actually book an appointment. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

Great experience with Eye Barbershop from start to finish. The response time when contacting through Yelp was insanely fast. They managed to fit me in within an hour of me reaching out. Great haircut from RJ, super meticulous and i've had some great comments on the style. This was my first time trying them out since I decided to change barbershop. I'll be back for sure. read more
