If you are reading this as your opposing thumbs begin to nervously sweat, hoping to find a barber you can trust, Saints might be THAT bitch. As you know, it's particularly hard to find a barber that gives an amazing hair and beard cut. IMO, Frankee is the best. She's super chill, easy to talk to, but also comfortable in silence. Let's ground ourselves for a second: This is an expensive cut. For beard + hair, I'm at $100 before tip. But, for me, and perhaps you, the peace of mind of an A+ job is worth it. As far as overall customer experience, parking is plentiful and within a few minute walk through a neighborhood and there's an app that makes scheduling easy. read more

I couldn't get an appointment with my regular barber in time for an important event, so I made an appointment here at the last minute. Literally made an appointment on Saturday night for Sunday morning. I'm always a little hesitant walking into a barber shop as a woman. I prefer someone who can handle my short hair, but a lot of shops are tailored towards men. I had absolutely no reason to be concerned. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. They allowed my girlfriend to sit in an empty station and made sure she had water to drink. Jay was very attentive and asked the right questions to make sure that I loved the cut in the end. Fantastic establishment! I was super desperate for a cleaned up quiff cut recently (you know that moment wherein the hair suddenly begins to annoy you and become a bit heavy?), and no one I called was able to fit me in. I decided to risk it and try a walk-in at Saints. (I figured, what is the worst that could happen? They might be booked out, and that will be that.) To my great delight and relief, Jonathan was able to fit me in with Marty, and my wait time was very short. I am female, and new to this whole short hair thing, after shaving my head all of last year. Prior to that, I had long hair, and trusted only one stylist for the last 18-20 years, who rendered my gorgeous cut and color perfectly. I felt totally at ease here. They were very patient, friendly, welcoming, and kind. I had some pictures stored on my phone to help point Marty in the general direction I was after. I am very pleased with the cut, and it turned out super fresh. The price was also very reasonable. Problem was that I booked with Javin for the next visit. My appointment was at 4pm. Receipt says.... Duration: 30 MINUTES. I arrived at 3:55pm and had the usual nice saints greeting and got sat down. Once Javin came out and I told him what I wanted he told me that wasn't what I paid for and he didn't have time to do my haircut since he was really busy and I only payed for a touch up.... First of all I was 10 minutes late because of traffic and my barber(Alex) told me with attitude "I can do only haircut or beard trim "( i had appointment for haircut + beard. 75 minutes session) so i chose haircut because I thought it takes 65 minutes to finish my haircut when he told me like that but he finished my haircut in 40 minutes and we had 25 minutes left for beard trim but he refused to do that. At least he could refund the beard trim part. The only reason i gave 2 stars because actual haircut wasn't bad but definitely he should work on his customer service skills and behavior. read more

Excellent barber shop. Been here twice so I know it's not a fluke. Everything about this place is great. Got a haircut from Russ O. both times, and both times he delivered a style that was within the parameters I requested, but with touches that made it better than expected. I liked the haircut I got so much the first time, I updated my professional portraits. I'm a programmer, a job for weird nerds, so it's completely non-essential to have a good headshot, but it's just that I was that excited about it that I decided to update them. Also a lot of little touches that set this place apart. They sell clothing, very trendy stuff which I'm tempted to buy. Even the chairs are great. The appointment was about an hour and usually I would've gotten back pain from sitting that long, but somehow didn't here. Russ offered me a cup of water for the road. Never had that anywhere before. When you move to a new area, it's always tough to find a new barber. Trial and error is usually the only way. Sadly, my first trial was error. I went to a barber who really butchered my hair. I had a wedding a couple of days later. I text Devon from Saints (after seeing his cuts in IG) to see if he could fit me in any time in the next 3 days, as there wasn't a time available I could do. He offered to come in early on Saturday to make sure he could fix my hair for me before the wedding. My original haircut was awful. I was worried Devon wouldn't be able to fix it, we chatted about the options of how to go about it. He gave me recommendations and options to choose from. 45 minutes later, you wouldn't know what it had looked like before I sat in the chair. The attention to detail was 10/10. The conversation was easy and interesting. The barbershop is very cool with clothing for sale as well as cool pieces of art. All the barbers there were cool. $80 for a haircut is definitely steep, but I'm very particular about my hair and want it doing properly. True pro. 5*. Will be back in a few weeks. Thanks! read more

It's a bummer to write this. I honestly don't leave yelp reviews and never have... I'm a MDR local (living about a mile from this shop) and have frequented the shop multiple times over multiple years. Two issues... (1) They seem to be losing their barbers. I've rarely had the same barber twice, not because they haven't been doing great work, but because the barbers I've chosen often leave and then text me about alternative locations. This seems to be a red flag. (2) We had a COVID case at work today. Not a huge deal, but I also don't openly walk into public areas after being in close contact with a positive COVID test. At least until I know I am negative. I tried to reschedule the appointment (not cancel, reschedule) and the owner of the shop accused me of lying. He said it's 2023 and the excuse isn't real. This is an egregious concern for a business that brings their clientele so close to their employees, to the extent that their employees are physically touching their clients. Needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

It's a really clean shop with really talented barbers (I go to Jay who is good people). You can book appointments online, so you don't have to worry too much about spending half your day waiting for a cut. I definitely was not looking for a handout, but the location and vibe of this place are really cool. I like that the owner cares about his clients. I'll give them another shot now....how could I not with that level of care? Original review: I really wanted to like this place. I called and the place and the guy was super cool on the phone. I've walked past previously and I like the vibe so I thought I would give it a shot. There are just a couple of things that I didn't like. First off you prepay with tip when you make the appointment. I get why they do that but I don't like it because I like to tip after depending on the service. That's the point of a tip as I worked for them for 15 years previously. My guy ran 20 mins late from his previous appointment and I was just waiting there...they already had my money so I could not go elsewhere. I see why... he took forever to do my hair when most people I'm out in like 20-30 mins. I'm glad the guy before me in the meter already had 20 mins in there because I put an hour and only had 3 mins to spare...from only a haircut. I showed the guy pictures of me with previous haircuts I liked and the top he did a good job, but spent a really long time around my ears. When I left It was cut way too short around my ears...like he razored them up unnaturally, which I've never had and definitely didn't need with how the haircut was.
