The only thing that I'm knocking one star off for is that I think it would have helped for them to tell people to bring their own glasses for wine when they emailed everyone saying to come early. And to wear old clothes that you won't get paint on. I think that those two sentences that can be emailed to everyone will go a long way. The painting I did was amazing too! It looks great and will be very sentimental to me in the future.

Even after we became loud, and drunk, they continued to keep us on track. We left with beautiful works of art, and lots of fuzzy memories. It's a painting class, so don't wear fancy clothes. Also, bring everything you need - plates, cups, silverware, napkins. If your drinks or food need to stay cold bring a cooler. They do not have a fridge. I do not consider myself to be a artist, even in the basic sense of the word. But, the paint strokes are explained, and they will help you if you need it.

Both turned out really well thanks to the guidance of Masterpiece Mixers! I was super surprised that I actually liked what I left with- the girls ARE very good at giving tips and helping you with decisions if you want it! Super fun atmosphere. They came to my neighborhood's clubhouse so it was a very convenient location as well. My husband and I brought some wine and some snacks and had a great time. It was a fun date night- took about 2 hours total. Can't wait to do it again sometime soon!

I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! We came as a family of four; my wife and I and our two kids to paint pottery and it was a great activity for a Sunday afternoon. At issue was a song with lyrics that I felt were innapropriate for young children. We asked if they would change the music or refund our money. We were told that the parents liked the popular music and that toddlers couldn't understand the lyrics anyway. I disagree, but very well, I will take my refund and go away. They offered to not charge me for the second month, but refused to give back my money for the first month even though we only attended one class. If you care about the music that your toddlers listen to, please ask ahead of time before you commit to the payment. They do screen the popular music for bad lyrics, but they did not inform me during the free class that popular music was going to be played. The free class had children's music. I am sure my standards are going to be viewed as too strict, but I didn't like the lyrics to "I'm just a girl". I don't think it's healthy to tell little girls who are still forming their precious personalities that they are just girls, and that is all we will let them be. Even worse, I don't want my son growing up with that view of women. If you care about the music your child listens too, be sure to ask about the songs they will play before giving them your money.

I specially love that the pre school steps class they have it where there are group activities and also free play after every group activity. If your kid doesn't want to participate the teacher does not force the kids to participate, you are just free to do as you like. My toddler loves the group activities as well as the free play. I am extremely happy with my decision to join Gymboree. Oh yes and the parents there are soo nice too. I def recommend this location.

They have suggestions on what to do. It was five dollars and you could sit there for several hours and just create create create. It was amazing! They have lots of things for sale, lots of art to see, but I'm telling you the amount of supplies in different Craft things was fabulous. Bonus that it is a shared space with the library, I believe that's also temporary. But take a few steps and you can sit and read in the library for a while as well! This is a terrific facility to hold an event. We celebrated by husband's 50th birthday in the…read moreballroom. It comes with all the equipment you need (sound, projectors, kitchen with warmers and microwaves). They arrange the room, which seats up to 120, how you want. The facility is extremely affordable. I wish there was more parking, but there are other areas nearby to park. The people there are very helpful and kind. If you clean up to their liking after the event, you get your deposit back within the following week. I'd do another event there in the future.

A RELAXING FRIDAY NIGHT!…read more Tonight my husband and I attended one of the First Friday concerts at the center. These concerts occur the first Friday of every month in the upstairs ballroom. They are from 7:00 until 9:00 and feature a variety of artists. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dinner and eat during the concert just as they do during the summer concerts. Tonight's group was "Out of the Rain" featuring Ron HIpp and Carol Statella, a folk duo. It is apparent that they have been together for a very long time because they just flow together seamlessly. I enjoyed tonight's selections which included folk classics and a country waltz. It was great "feel good" music that allows you to forget about everything but sitting back and fully enjoying the moment. It was a great way to spend a Friday evening!

My wife (thank god, deals with schools and so on but last week when I went to see my daughter in practice after 1 hour or so I had something to take care of out the school and was to go back and pick up my daughter. My wife told me Lori Zamzow is the owner and I went over to let her know that my daughter would miss 2 shows on the 20th and 21st because I had booked in April a family trip to celebrate her 15th birthday. She did not even let me start talking, She ignored me and said to talk to Brooke Burgess (School Director) I said, I was told it was going to be difficult and they both looked at each other but I still went to talk to Burgess. I let her know that my daughter would be missing 2 shows me thinking is the right thing to do but nope, what a mistake, Burgess had no idea on what to do and went back to Lori Zamzow. She came over and told me about the commitment and all on the contract and I said, I understand but when the trip was made I chose the dates I did base on last years show dates (picture of last year schedule attach) She said to me that I need to cancel the trip I said I cant. told me to get my money back, I said impossible. Told me of the contract and I said I understand but I cant re-schedule this trip, ships don't leave at my convenience and I already had made a payment back in April for over 10k. At the end of the conversation I did say that the situation was making my blood boil and I took full responsibility for booking this trip thinking school would be over by the 18th but no, It did not work out that way. After almost 4 years committed to making sure this company gets paid on time, credit card on file for automatic payments and my wife taking my kid there and me after work picking her up what did Lori Zamzow do? she told Brooke Burgess like 20 min after I left the school to call me and she said, can you cancel that trip? Can you get a refund? can your reschedule? NO NO NO, this is a bully that barks because they know they have are kids there and they know how to crush them. She kicked my daughter out of: The Nativity Ballet show The NUTcracker show and all company pieces and future performances . Also, kicked her out her company beginning the next evening Nov 21st. I can understand being charged the $300 dollars If my daughter wanted to quit company, but all of the above looks very personal to me. Someone there also made a treat via email to send my account (1000% on time payments) to collections. what? Email is also attached. To my point, Bully and bark and keep talking and treating people the way you do, The only reason I don't yank my kid out of there is because from something this sad she said to me that she likes her teachers and friends. She will learn soon that when you are a paying client is true that customers are not always right, being a business owner my self, I would never treat someone like that. I told my daughter that this will make her stronger, because if for having a father that wanted to do the right thing and for this company to treat my daughter like that is unacceptable. My understanding is that many parents have pulled there kids out, I want out but my kid at 14 has no idea what a bully is, I do. I will keep supporting my kid no matter what and one last thing, care full if English is not your first language, Some there act like they cant understand you and for some sick sad reason they think is funny.
