She picked a frame I never would have chosen for myself, and I absolutely love them. Her eye for style is incredible. Dr. Joann Pham was also fantastic -- very thorough, patient, and genuinely kind during my exam. I struggled quite a bit learning how to put my contacts in (it honestly took dozens of tries), and she was so patient, encouraging, and understanding the entire time. She never made me feel rushed or embarrassed, which I really appreciated. The whole experience felt personal and unrushed, which is rare these days. Another huge bonus: they were able to put my prescription into my glasses in under 20 minutes, which honestly blew me away. They also gave me a 10 day free trial to try with my contacts. Talk about a great optical store, owner and optician! Coming from NYC I doubted I could ever find another great store until I walked into EYE CATCHERS OPTIQUE! I was first met by Optician and Owner Jeff Bilfeld, we chatted about our similar backgrounds both being from NYC! He couldn't have been nicer! I was in love with the store from the moment I stepped in! It's in a cute little house! I have never seen so many choices and varieties as well as amazing frames from companies I've never heard of that couldn't have been more unique! He told me they have an optician on site to do an eye exam and that they can have your new prescriptions ready same day and in an hour! Well all this sounded amazing and then I had my appointment! The optician I saw was so nice, the service was straight to the point! I left two pairs of glasses and had one more for them to do when I picked up my first two! When I saw what the price was for the three glasses done exactly how I wanted with all the "bells and whistles", I was blown away! One pair of my glasses couldn't be done for the price of the three back in NYC! I can't wait to go back and pick out another frame really soon! Jeff wears the most unique frames and we picked out ones by the same company he wears that we would like for my face! He isn't pushy, he isn't telling you get it now, he just said when you are ready come in! Plus a place that's completely dog friendly always wins in my book and my puppies tummy! If you like to feel welcome going into an optical center you really need to stop at Eye Catchers on Palmetto Park Road here in Boca Raton. First impressions mean so much... I was extremely impressed with their very welcoming atmosphere and the most amazing array of eyeglasses I've ever seen. They gave me all the time I needed to look around. I was able to try frames until I found the right one without any kind of pressure. It was a 5 star experience.. Jeff's knowledge of the stock, styles and trends was amazing. Excellent service and advise for new frames was well thought out. . Aside, from purchasing new glasses, they refurbished a well loved pair of vintage eyewear and they now look like new. His solution for a significant issue I had with a prescription I had from my ophthalmologist was truly appreciated. He was so kind about it. The time and care he took with me on the issue absolutely astounded me. They also offered the quickest turnaround time on lenses they can do in house I've ever experienced. I've now gone there numerous times and find the service and quality of care to always be above and beyond at every level Please also note that Eye Catchers provides comprehensive eye exams in house. The doctor explained her results which was easy to understand, especially in this day of high technology. She ordered two glasses which took only a day or so and is thrilled with them as I type this. Jeffery was to put new prescription lened into my frames. He ordered the lens and I waited 2 hours because he had customers come in. After the customers left I told him it was wrong to have me wait so long. He yelled at me and said he had customers and I told him to lower his voice. One hour later I asked why was it taking so long to install my new lens. He was having a hard time installing and broke my frames. Had my wife come in to help picking out new frames and he again yelled at her saying my frames were twisted and she told him to please lower your voice. My frames were in perfect shape & he should have told me before taking my money if there was an issue with them. He installed the new lens into new frame and he said I was good. I was not able to use the glasses because the lens were not made for the frame. Everything was blurry. I called him and he admitted the frames were not for the new lenses. Did get a refund and would not return the new frames because he broke mine. He shoud never raise his voice to a customer and to my wife and knowing frame would not work he did not care. Terrible customer service and would not recommend. read more
