This is the worst eye care I've ever had. I came here from a recommendation and I waited over 2 hrs to see a doctor. Then I hurt my eye and came in and waited 2 hrs, ihad to come back for a follow up. I've been waiting over an hr. How busy can it be when your appointment is at 9:30 AM. The staff and doctors are nice but the lack of professionalism and patient courtesy is horrific. Run from this place NEVER come here unless you have time to waste. If I could leave no stars I would. Money money money! First thing, the receptionist says I'm not on the schedule. I show her the THREE text messages confirming my appointment and she says they had my DOB wrong in the system. Then, after an hour, got in the the back for the exam and first thing I'm told it's $150 for a contact fitting fee! I've been wearing contacts for 20 years and have never paid a fitting fee! I didn't even get a chance to meet the doctor before they start asking for money. Don't waist your time with this place it's like a cattle drive. Since they have closed their Bonita Springs office, their wait times in the Naples and Ft.Myers office is ridiculous!!! It doesn't matter what time your appointment is, YOU'RE WAITING!!! Also, my mother had a cataract done recently. When we were there for her consult, we had the pleasure of listening to the physician talk to a pharma rep outside our room for over ten minutes!! We had already been waiting in the room for over fifteen minutes. They were NOT talking about meds, samples, etc.... When we were leaving my mom was told she needed to stop her blood thinner 7 days prior to her procedure. They were also given my phone number so the nurse could speak with me regarding what time her surgery would be, they didn't do this either.... The nurse called my MOTHER two days before the surgery and told her she didn't need to be off her blood thinners for this procedure. Can I say how dangerous this is for a person to be on blood thinners and no one in the office is on the same page???? One of the prescriptions was over 150 dollars and the physician had no idea what the cost to the patient was.... needless to say, we didn't fill this one. When we saw the MD the day after her procedure I expressed my concerns about all of the above. He stated that it was okay that she didn't use this medication that he prescribed to her. If she didn't need it, why was it prescribed in the first place???? He also had no idea what the price was, perhaps while he was shooting the shi* outside our door with the rep, he might have educated himself with the drugs they're peddling to him. He also had no idea that his practice told my mom to get off her blood thinners..... She now has to get her other eye done. She didn't have enough of the antibiotic eye drops, so we stopped at the pharmacy to refill it. Only to find out that his office canceled the prescription on 8-11-22, which is odd because her surgery was on 8-25-22!!! Obviously I called the office on 8-26-22 and had the pleasure of being on hold for over 30 minutes! I made sure that I physically spoke to someone and TOLD THEM what had just happened. They denied that their office did this. I have a copy of the orders from the pharmacy that came from THEIR OFFICE. I was assured that they would fax over the medication that my mom NEEDS for her eye. Guess what....,THEY NEVER DID IT!!!!! So now, I'm currently on hold AGAIN with this practice and it's going on over 25 minutes now!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE TO ANYONE! PEACE~ read more

I go in and get exam and told that I needed to have cataract surgery My insurance approved the surgery on Feb 19 2019 .I called the office several times and did not get a return call .Then they tell me the lens that actually works is $2,400.00 extra per eye .They are the highest in Fort Myers on the lens they use .They are $1,800.00 higher than the next highest in town .The office is overrun with people and no one knows what is going on with you .They were not helpful or friendly .I know that Dr Brown was a pioneer in the development of this surgery .After reading the reviews I see a lot of people are not satisfied with Eye centers .I will not put my sight in someone's hands that has so many negative ratings. Went to Dr Brown for LASIK consultation. When I went into the office i was called back by a man that barely spoke English, told to sit and he proceeded to perform an eye exam on me. Gave me no information or even spoke to me to tell me what was happening. When he was finished he said, OK bye and led me to the waiting room. I went to the front desk to ask if I was done or what was happening and they said, "Go home, a Dr. will call you if you are eligible". WHAT?! No one even explained the procedure to me. Dr. Browns assistant later called me and said they had accidentally done the wrong test if I could come in again and she would fix everything. She was very nice and appologetic so I went in for a second consultation where I met Dr. Brown who is probably 90 years old. He was very rude and acted like i was annoying him with my questions about the exam. Although the price offered was cheaper than other local places I went elsewhere and am very happy I did!!! However, now I am fighting with them over a $60 charge for a test that I was told was "WRONG". read more

First, let me say that I have been a patient at Eye Centers of Florida for 31 years. Doctors told me that I needed cataract surgery. I asked what the percentage of people get a 20/20 result and Dr. Spencer said about 97%. He said the lens to see both up close and distance was an addition price of $5000. I went to Ft Myers to do my pretesting/pay I was told the extra lens was $5500, so I had to pay the $5500 instead of the $5000 quoted to me. My first eye was operated on in October 2016. I was in the waiting room for an hour when they called my name. I had four nurses surround me immediately. I'm not claustrophobic but this was very unnerving. One was doing my IV, one was asking my name, one was hooking up my oxygen and the other was squirting two whole bottles in my eye which went in my ears and down my throat. My right eye stayed dilated for three days and my sinuses were bothering me for a week. I could not see clear out of my right eye from the very start. The next week I had the left eye done. Totally different experience. They called me in and put a few drops in my eyes then I went out in the waiting room and waiting in total an hour before I was called in for the surgery. One nurse at a time came in and got me ready. I asked a nurse why the prep was so much better this time and she said the doctor was waiting and they didn't have a patient ready yet so they had to rush me in, even though I had sat in the waiting room for an hour. Then I started going for appointments to check my recovery and I can't see clear in either eye. The doctor kept saying just give it more time. More appointments and they say the lens slipped out of place and they have to do another cataract surgery on my right eye. My opinion was it was never put in right in the first place, but I can't prove it. I go through another cataract surgery, buying more expensive eye drops and starting the process all over again. More visits to the eye doctor and still can't see 20/20 out of either eye. Dr. Spencer told me I needed laser surgery in both eyes, then I would be able to see fine. That procedure did not help either eye. More appointments as they were saying just give it time.Then I was transferred to Dr. Eisleman in the Ft Myers office. He told me I needed a procedure called PRK and they would do my right eye that was the worst of the two. I went to Susan who is Dr. Brown's assistant to get my prescriptions for the procedure. She had a prescription for pain and she wanted me to get a compound eye drop medicine from Myerlee Pharmacy that ended up costing me $65. I ask her what the compound medicine was for and she told me it numbs the eye. I told her if it numbs the eye what do I need the pain prescription for and she said she guessed I didn't them. So I get the procedure done and when I get home my eye starts to hurt so I put in the drops and it did not numb the eye. I suffered through three days with my eye feeling like I had acid poured in it because Susan had told me wrong. When I went back to the doctor he could not believe I went through the procedure without pain meds. More doctor appointments and no improvement. Now Dr. Eisleman wants me to do the PRK surgery in both eyes. I told him why would I want to do that again when it didn't work the first time. He said they now know what my eye does and they can tweak the PRK machine, so I agreed to do both eyes at once to get it over with. Can't see anything this time for a week, then slowly my vision comes back to the way it was before, no better. More appointments and I asked Dr. Eisleman why the PRK surgery didn't work this time and he said he had decided not to tweak the machine after all. So I went through all that pain and not seeing for nothing. Since they have done everything they can for me per Dr. Eisleman, I said I guess I will have to get glasses. Then I was told I can't wear glasses because I already have a lens in my eye and can't have another one outside my eye. It would not work. I think this is something they should have told me before the cataract surgery so I could have taken that in consideration before making by final decision. Then Dr. Eisleman looked at me and said we have been doing all the procedures for free, which I said no you haven't. They had been charging my insurance for everything and getting 90%. I guess he didn't think I knew that. So the bottom line is I went through unnecessary pain and suffering for the last two years, doing everything they asked and still I do not have 20/20 up close, at a distance or the middle part and I am stuck with it for the rest of my life. I ask for my $5500 back since the lens do not work and Dr. Eisleman told me he would get back with me and instead after 31 years of being with them they sent me a certified letter that stated they want me to find another eye doctor. I know this is a long review, but if I save even one person from going through what I went through it is worth it. read more

After visiting the Clewiston office I will NEVER go the Eye Centers again. The office staff was rude and Brittany the lady that fits your glasses sat a hollered to the reception staff about a customer they were upset with the entire time. I should have said something but I did not want the backlash I just wanted to see. After calling and checking on my glasses they were very rude on the phone and hung up on me. I called my insurance to complain because I had already paid 471.00 for my glasses but did not want to give them my business I was told by the insurance I was overcharged on my lenses. Now I'm not talking pennies im talking 221.00 for what the insurance said was a $45 item. Beware of the staff as they will talk about you in front of the other customers. I went there to get new glasses. I was a first time customer. I told the lady doing my eyeglass order "I ONLY WANT WHAT IS COVER BY DAVIS VISION". I paid my co-pay and left. A couple days later I get a bill for $20. I called them right away. I was told the charge was for scratch resistant I told them I don't want it. I wrote on my bill I don't want it. I continue to get billed. That was my first and last visit to them. You see the Optometrist for 15 minutes. The rest of the Exam is done by other employees. I got the impression one didn't quite know what she was doing. I will use Wal mart next time. I used them in PA and am now sorry I switched. read more

LIARS AND THIEVES. I called asking the price for an eye exam. I knew exactly what i wanted, what my girlfriend had. Multi Focal Clear Lens Replacement. They requested her birthday to look her up. I did not have this info. So I hung up, questioned my girlfriend, then called back.I gave her full name and birthday so they could look her up. I asked the price of the exam. $99 I was told. OK. I'm in. When i got there I was charged $99. They eye exam was the quickest and sloppiest eye exam I've ever had. I got a better eye exam at WalMart!!! The Dr came in and asked if i wanted glasses. Uh, no, I have told you since making the appt that I wanted Multi Focal Clear Lens Replacement. Oh ok he says to his attendant, now it is a medical exam, and i was presented with a $112+ bill as i exited. I argued with them. YOu quoted me $99. HOw can you change it? Oh you wanted a medical procedure eye exam. I said yes, I told you this when i called in to make the appt. Well, you gotta pay $112 more. wtf. Ok i paid, knowing this place was a rip off. Weeks later I get a bill, for $93. So the $99 eye exam is now $309. I have called billing, they laugh when i say i am not paying. I have called corporate and they take my info but don't return the calls. This place is a huge rip off, worst eye exam, plus i left with not a scrap of paper with what my eye exam showed. All other eye exam places give you the results as you leave. I made them send it to me by email. Basically it just showed the $99 being crossed out and changed to $309. These are the coldest, most arrogant people I have ever seen. My wife has been coming here for MANY years. Last year she called to question a charge that arrived in the mail a month after her visit, and the clerk became very irate and defensive. Before she hung up, this person said "f&@king foreigner". My wife is European born and an attorney. This year, although the prescription had not changed she received a bill three weeks after her visit charging for a prescription. Really upset, three time the wrong lenses and each time I was told in five days the new correct lense would arrive. Waited 4 weeks for the lense had to call and they returned the call the next day... Had an appointment to be evaluated for cataract surgery. Told them I was really concerned about the corona virus and asked what precautions were in place. I was told my temperature would be taken before being allowed to enter the building and that they would require patients to be wearing masks in the facility. When I arrived for my appointment however, there was a blatant disregard for social distancing or mask protocols in the office. There was a masked employee taking temps at the front door, but inside the building was a totally different scene. There were at least 15 patients in the waiting room and about half were not wearing masks. Even more disconcerting was that most of the staff was not masked. I turned right around and asked the person taking temperatures at the door about this he just said "sorry, since the state is not mandating masks, we can't force employees or patients to wear masks". It's interesting that a medical practice is not concerned enough to mandate even their own employees wear a mask, but the local Costco can and does. Not to mention that the Costco won't let customers into the facility who will not wear a mask. How do I trust my surgical care to a practice that will not protect their own employees or their patients from something as serious as the corona virus.... just because they were not mandated to by the state. read more

My wife and I have been a patients in the Port Charlotte office for a decade. I tried scheduling a simple eye exam at our local office in February but it was booked out 2 months! So I scheduled an appointment for the Bonita office but was unable to make that drive last week because my schedule changed, So I called today and guess what they are still booked out 2 months in the Port Charlotte office. They keep saying the Dr. in that office quit and they haven't been able to fill the position so they are only doing exams 2 days a week. I am sure the Dr. would have provided a notice of some sort and if you consider I called in February (after the Dr had quit), it appears they want to have an office up here but are unwilling or unable to man it properly. I did NOT book my appointment and decided to call Eye Glass World. I was able to get in this afternoon. Now they had a cancellation and that is why I got in this afternoon BUT if it hadn't opened up the next appointment was first of the next week. If you have a busy schedule like mine and really cannot determine what if may be 2 months down the road, I suggest you find another provider for eye care in Port Charlotte as we have decide to do. read more

This review applies specifically to their Clewiston office, although I was told the decisions made there come through the Ft Myers office. Dr. Tyrell is likely the only reason this office still exists. She is professional, knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care for her patients. Office staff is courteous and friendly. That said-stay away from the optical department! In fact run. Buy your glasses elsewhere. I do not mind paying good money for a good product and good service. Their service is extremely poor and borders on dishonest. The full purchase price of glasses is collected up front. You are told you will receive your glasses in two weeks. Based on my experience and others who tried to warn me, it will be at least a month. Then, if there is an issue with your glasses when you finally do receive them, good luck getting treated fairly as a customer. You're going to need it. It's very unlikely they will refund your money which was my original request. They have your money and you're not getting it back. The optician I dealt with today was simply rude. Long story short I purchased two pairs of glasses with the "best lenses available" less than three months ago. It took them a month to arrive and I honestly tried wear and "get used to them". There was something wrong with them. I am now waiting on a single pair that will hopefully be safe to wear. The first two weren't. The optician I spoke with today called to say there would be no refund, but no additional charge. Well how nice! She also insinuated that I was doing this because I didn't like the frames. If I could have seen properly out of the frames and lenses I wouldn't have been back to experience their questionable customer service tactics. As explained, I already paid for two pair! If the new ones work out that's $904 for one pair of glasses. If they don't, well I guess that's just the way Eye Centers of Florida operates. I went to Eye Centers of Florida, I needed new sun glasses, decided to also get an exam, I was told I didn't need a new prescription. I ordered new sunglasses and new reading glasses. I can not use either of them. I went back three times, they changed the lenses twice,the third time someone else told me they were fine.The only good they do is take up room in my desk. It was a waste of insurance and cash. A good thing I don't drive any more. Maybe if I was younger I would Have gotten better service. read more

My husband took my son in for his yearly exam. He had our two kids with him because I was working. The Dr. was rude to my husband about not controlling my younger son. I am very disappointed in how he was treated and you would think the doctor would have a bit more understanding. Obviously Dr. Eiselman does not have kids. Contrary to some of the other reviews, this office is very good. I went there last year when spending the winter in North Port to be treated for AMD. Dr. Ferriera and staff are fast, efficient and professional and I would recommend them to anyone. I am in Port Charlotte this winter and have scheduled monthly visits with them again. read more

Excellent service! My husband had an emergency and got a foreign body In his eye they got us in the same day!!! An hour after my call! Dr Green was very accommodating to him and informative she ran numerous and thorough detailed test that were specific. Explained everything thoroughly cleaned his eye got the problem solved fast! This was the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. I had an appointment with Dr. Rachael Chan at the Lehigh Acres office. My appointment was for 10:45 and by 12:00 I still hadn't seen the doctor. The reviews are correct that they have a tech do the eye exam. She discussed my chart at the front desk with the girls in front of the whole waiting room. So if your looking for patient confidentiality, you might want to go else where. It's apparently not a top priority for this Dr. (I use that term loosely). All in all, I couldn't wait any longer as she was taking people that had come in after me and left me sitting in the waiting room. I will never go back. read more

Horrible experience...Went in for red watery eyes and saw the same doctor 4 times, then they referred me to a "specialist" who I saw twice, then they were referring me to a surgeon (this went on for 3 months)! I started going to ECOF for annual exams after we moved to FL. Recently I needed retina reattachment and went in to see Dr. Ferreira. At one week he indicated the first surgery went well but at five weeks the retina was still detached. After the first surgery Dr. Ferreira indicated he wanted me to have cataract surgery first. Apparently, the bubble placed in my eye created a cataract. After thinking about it over the weekend Dr. Ferreira wanted to try retina reattachment surgery first then do the cataract, and he scheduled me for surgery on 11/24. Dr. Ferreira began on the 24th but indicated he could not see well enough to work on the retina and decided I needed cataract surgery first. On the 25th I went in for post-op and I was told three different stories as to why Dr. Ferreira was out: (1) he was sick, (2) out due to an emergency, and according to Dr. Mauer of the ECOF, they [ECOF] did not know if he would be back. On Nov 25 I visited with Dr. Mauer who told me that you do not do cataract surgery first, you fix the retina then do cataract surgery. Dr. Mauer referred me to a clinic in Miami. I told him what Dr. Ferreira had said and he disputed it again saying that is not how it is done. Dr. Mauer basically told the nurse to escort me to the lobby. In the lobby I found out that the ECOF would not call in for a referral and left me on my own, blind in my left eye after being told to get in my car and drive to another doctor. We had a 10AM appt. and arrived at 9:35AM They put the first set of drops in at 9:45 AM I waited 30 minutes and then they put in the second set of drops at 10:15 AM I then sat and waited for an hour and 20 minutes till 11:35 AM before I taken back to see the doctor. This was a follow up to my eye surgery. I asked if the doctor was on time and was told that he was NOT running late. An hour and 20 minute wait is NOT acceptable to me. My experience seems to be typical after meeting other people who have seen this doctor and had cataract surgery. His technique is outdated and he does not use a laser. The staff were unprofessional and almost seem scared to say anything that might be controversial. My vision is worse now than I ever have had in my life! After having cataract surgery I now have to wear glasses to even see a laptop screen when prior to surgery I did not. I didn't feel comfortable in the office setting or in the surgery center which is filthy and overcrowded. This doctor is extremely old and therefore I feel he is set in his ways. He refuses more modern techniques and I'm assuming that is due to lack of knowledge or the cost.He did not choose the proper lens for my eye and now I have to suffer the rest of my life with his choice. I will say in his defense he did offer to remove this lens and replace it. After the first surgery however, my eye was severely bloodshot for weeks. There was no way I was letting this doctor touch me again. I'll just live with it. Use your gut when you visit this office. Look around. You'll see that something is not right. There are so many other choices out there. I feel I am trying to help people realize that this is not the way to go. I was a new patient at this eye center and I have to say I met the sweetest and kindest young lady within seconds of walking in. Unsure if I was at the correct place she greeted me warmly and asked if I had an appointment. I explained I wasn't sure where I was supposed to be, she replied that she would help me gladly. She asked my name and then looked me up in the computer and stated yes this is exactly where you belong! Asked for my information by my first name like we already knew each other. She stated that she had to take a photo of me for my chart and after taking the photo she said "perfectly beautiful". WOW, she made me feel special. I smiled again, I think bigger this time than I did in my picture and I thanked her for being so kind. I asked her what her name was and she showed me her name tag and said I'm Ladonna I said thank you Ladonna for being so professional, kind and sweet to me. My appointment went really well and the Doctor and staff were great from beginning to the very end. As I was leaving I made it a point to tell her goodbye and that I shall see her again in about six months. She remembered my first name and said she was glad to have met me and said "drive safe and I'll see you soon! Talk about a caring heart, this girl has one. Every business needs five of her to represent their office. Thank you for a great experience. read more

I am sorry I ever heard of this doctor David Brown. The left eye surgery went OK, but on the morning when the right eye surgery was scheduled, their office called and said that Dr. Brown had meetings and would do the surgery 1 hour later. Or else, I could reschedule for 3 weeks later. So, I had the surgery done that day. Boy, am I sorry. The pain was terrible the next day and it just got worse. I went for post-op the next day, then again 2 weeks after surgery. The follow-up doc said just keep taking the eye-drops, it will get better. Then he said try a different eye-drop. Nothing helped. After 3 weeks, it was excruciating, I called, and they told me to come right in. This time, he said there was a chip of the old cataract left in my right eye, and I would need another surgery to remove it. So come in Monday and have the surgeon check it. I came in Monday and they said yes, we will do the surgery today. 'Did you eat breakfast?' Yes. 'Did you have cream in your coffee?' Yes, nobody told me not to. Well, we can't give you anesthesia because you had cream this morning. So they did surgery on my right eye with just numbing eye drops. It was horrible, the worst nightmare ever. Now it has been 2 months since the chip removal surgery, my vision is 20/50 in the good eye, 20/60 in the one they messed up. I still need reading glasses. And I paid $4800 extra to get the special high-tech lenses. Why did the surgeon have meetings when he had surgeries scheduled? Why did the follow-up doc wait 3 weeks before discovering the chip they left behind? Why is my vision so crappy with premium $4800 lenses? Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I have now received three lenses from the Eye Center and they have been unable to solve my vision problem. When I originally went there, I identified a specific problem. They recommended the most expensive lenses and later I was told by staff that this was very unlikely to solve my problem. I have asked for a refund of my $790 and they refuse to give me any resolution. They are a large corporation and rely on their large size to intimidate unsatisfied customers. Stay away from this organization as they have no interest in resolving patient needs but simply generating high revenues with expensive inferior products. read more

If I could give negative stars I would.... Billing is a nightmare. I went for a medical exam. Their normal charge is $154. I have medical insurance with BCBS which says it should be discounted to $77.92 per my EOB. They still insisted on charging me $154. So I paid it. After I received my EOB, they would not refund the difference because they said they were still waiting for payment from other insurance from glasses I go 3 months prior. So in other words, they were holding my money ransom. I made 2 trips to the office to try to get this resolved and my money back (2/13/20 and 2/20/20). Each with no success. Then they called (2/20/20) me saying they were going to refund me for the overcharge. Then a day later (2/21/20) they called back and said they cannot since they were still waiting for other insurance money for my glasses from 3 months prior. So I let it go for a couple weeks and then had a follow-up medical exam with the eye Dr. Again they insisted on charging me another $154. I said no. My deductible had been met with BCBS and my co-pay should have been $7.79. I had all my paperwork from BCBS showing my discount and my co-pay. They finally called their main billing office and received management approval to not charge me anything. Three weeks after they were paid from BCBS for my second medical exam I called (3/31/20) because I knew I still had a credit balance from my first medical exam. Neyssa in billing said I had no balance due. So I asked if I had a credit balance. She said yes, $60.79. I asked that it be refunded to my credit card. I gave her my CC info and said management would approve it and it would take a few days. Over a week later, no refund. I called again (4/8/20) to billing and talked to Neyssa. She said that they just received payment from the insurance so would have to submit my refund again to management. So again, I had to give them my credit card information, which I had done over a week prior. So as of today (2 days later) still no refund to my credit card. Their office staff, at each location, need to be trained on how much to charge based on the patients insurance, not just an automatic $154. Their billing department also need to be trained on billing procedures and follow-up. read more

After filling out two pages of paperwork to try to prove that I am not Hispanic, or of Latin descent, I had to wait an hour to spend 4 MINUTES with the doctor. I went to the office in North Naples, but I can't imagine that any of the offices are any better. DO NOT GO. read more

I visited Dr keating in March only for her to take it upon herself to adjust my prescription from my eye test to acct for a new diagnosis of minor glaucoma. The choice she made was wrong as my left eye clearly was not accepting the change. I went back and she admitted she made a change thinking my eyes would adjust. Not her choice to make without discussing with me but she didn't. I had my eyes re done only to have a new script which mad my vision worse. When I returned for a third visit to get it right she simply said she could only give one of the 2 prescription. she had done neither of which where good. I wouldn't accept that and she was rude arrogant and boldly said was a bitch about it. Now either their eguipment is faulty or her skills are lacking but the attitude was not professional. Now frustrated I visited Dr Sanchez at lenscrafter and in 1 short visit he had me corrected and happy as hell. He read both of her prescriptions and was at awe how different they were to actually were my eyes where and couldn't understand how she came up with what she did! On top of that lenscrafters remade my glasses for free( they cost $592) when they didn't have to as my 30 day exchange had passed but they saw I was not able too see properly and the mistakes Dr keating made would have negatively effected my long term vision. Amazing the difference in professionalism and competance. Lesson learned Eye Centers of Fl and Dr keating is not where you go if you want proper care service and competent care. On another note my Blue cross/Blue shield was not accepted at lenscrafters so thats the only reason I went to eye centers, they accepted my bc/bs. Then when I went to getting pricing the glasses I choose where $981 with insurance at eye centers of fla and $592 at lenscrafters where I had no ins covetage now how does that happen. again second lesson learned, insurance was trying to lock me into a lesser quality of service and a higher price for product. lesson learn that insurance isn't good and neither is Dr keating and Eye Centers of fla. Big take away, avoid both keating and Eye Centers if you want fair prices, caring competent and professional service and staff. Went in for a yearly checkup, had good eye sight, but was talked into a cataract procedure which was botched, it's been 4 months, and I have cloudy light sensitive and color blindness in the eye. Waited three months for it to heal then Dr. B lasered the eye and said it would be fine wrong, it's still the same lousy vision, and they have no answers just saying live with it! I wish i could give it less than one star. I went in for Lasik eye surgery. They told me when the surgery was done I would have 20/25 vision . When they got done with me I ended up with 20/60 in one eye and 20/80 in the other eye. Their comment to me was "well at least you can see enough to be able to legally drive". Then after 3 months they could not figure out what they did wrong, but they promised me they would fix it. So a week later Mr. Brown (as I would not call this quack a Dr. ) sent me a letter dismissing me as his patient and left me with a complete mess with my eyes. these people are rip-offs. In July 2016 went there for what is called eye floaters - seen by Dr. Cutting. Told it happens with those in their 50-60's Not a Big Deal. Follow up in August said everything looks okay. Got a reminder call from the folks at Vision Works for my annual eye exam, as I wear glasses. I thought they folks were okay at least for the 2 other earlier visits so I elected to schedule an annual eye exam. My eye exam was with a Tech not a Doctor and it was the same type of eye exam that I received for the past 30 years. Then the doctor comes in and quickly does a once over on the results the Tech completed and says he did a good job. Dr. Eisleman then says my vision i.e. prescription hasn't changed much so it's up to me on getting new glasses. I elected not to (save money) and then I get a bill for all sorts of line items and when I research what these are - They are all part of an eye exam. This is criminal and I'm having my insurance company investigate and perhaps take them to small claims. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!!!!!!! read more

I went there on recommendation from another doctor for cateract surgery. Big mistake. After waiting a month for my glasses, went for my exam with the new glasses. Right eye was fine, could not see the chart with left eye. More tests found a swelling behind the retina leaking into retina. Eye drops for another 2 weeks, tested today, same results except it is starting in the other eye. Found out it could cause blindness. They made an appointment for me with their retina doctor. I think I will look for someone else. I figure that is two strikes for them. Odds are against me. read more

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I saw the optometrist for less than 2 minutes. The "tech" or whoever it was gave me my eye exam and clearly not a trained optometrist. I specifically told them i did not need a contact fitting and they forced it anyway...charged me for it and then when i filed a complaint and called over 10 times they would never let me speak with a manager and would not refund the charge, which they let me know they wouldn't 3-4 months after my "exam." Absolute disgrace for a licensed practitioner. Do not waste your time/money to go here. Eric Eiselman was the "optometrist" i saw and he was a complete joke. I would sue for mal-practice if it didn't cost me more than what I would win. This place should be put out of business and the doctors and tech should have their licenses revoke. To add the cherry on top the staff was less than pleased to be there and it showed. read more
