From my first contact on the phone to the greeting I received when we walked in I was made to feel like a valued patient. The exam I received from Dr Parrish was by far the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. Using modern diagnostic equipment and technology Dr Parrish recommended a change to my contact prescription and took lots of time explaining his thought process. I've been wearing contacts for 30 years and I've not had the explanations I got today. Belinda discussed pricing with me then fitted me with the new lens. All in a. A five star experience.

When ordering, the associate, Diane, was very nice. Unfortunately, the glasses they made for me did not work. I have a very strong + prescription, but didn't think that would be a problem. I've been wearing glasses for 41 years, and this is the first time I've ever had glasses made that showed a distorted view around the edges of the frame (Peripheral vision). I went back in today to have the glasses fixed. The same associate was there, but a totally different attitude. When I introduced myself and told her why I was there, I was met with a literal eye roll and annoyance. It went downhill from there. Supposedly she/they/the lab cannot make me new lenses and guarantee I won't have this problem again. I don't know how optical labs did it in 1982, or how Wal-Mart did it 12ish years ago, but they did, and now Eye Associates is telling me they can't promise the new lenses won't be the same problem. So...I say, Ok let's look for new glasses then. I ask her to show me the size frames that I should get according to her, and the lab. They had 2 pairs that she brought out to show me that were smaller, that "should" work. Very quickly from there she went to "let's just give you a refund, you aren't happy". Only to then be told that I was going to have to pay a restocking fee...for glasses that I wanted but they couldn't provide me with - I am being charged a restocking fee. I didn't do anything wrong, they did. Save yourself the trouble and go to Walmart, you'll have a better chance of getting glasses that you can see out of.
