Mondays closed Tues: 9am-5pm Wed: 10am-6pm Thurs: 9am -5pm Fri: 8am-4pm Sat: 9am-3pm Note: They are generally closed for lunch from 1:00 PM - 2:00PM on most days. Liz is such a joy, so patient and fun, great at helping chose frames, if you need or want help. I like colorful ones and my husband and son like plain ones, plenty to choose of both n in between. I literally said I'm not a fan of purple but after 30 mins of me being super indecisive I asked her help and she said I know you said no purple but just try these, they were perfect!!!! Seriously. Husband said they brought out my green/blue eyes. They are my favorite frames, she really has an eye for this, so if you aren't sure just ask! Liz will have great recommendations. FIRST REVIEW EVER WRITTEN. I wanted to like this eye doctor's office so badly. First appointment was amazing, doctor is friendly and very knowledgeable. Communication/figuring out insurance on their end was an actual nightmare. We started our claim for contacts end of December, it is now March and they have yet to submit it. I've dealt with insurance personally, anyone knows it does not take that long to receive benefits back. They SUCK at follow up calls. The only time they ever called us to give an update, was AFTER we would call and leave voicemails (they never answered). And now they have the nerve to say the miscommunication may have been between my husband and I, which makes 0 sense considering we were always in the same room when discussing which brand of contacts we would like. The disorganization is wild.. And before they can respond telling us that the brand we wanted wasn't fully covered by insurance, WE KNOW. WE'VE KNOWN. We told them that we would like to move forward with it regardless, but are still trying to put the blame on us. read more

I had an eye exam today at Eye Style and am very impressed by the competency and kindness of the staff. Dr. Ho was thorough in her exam, and identified a possible medical issue while reassuring me that it was not urgent--but is something I will look into. She also patiently wrote out three prescriptions, which I requested for different distances and purposes. Although my requests were on the confusing side (despite my writing them down), she handled them with equanimity. Dr. Ho also suggested that one reading prescription was not necessary because it was so close to my actual vision--which made sense since I often removed those glasses. I appreciated the honesty, and we made a slight change. Optician Elizabeth checked me in, and then after the exam showed me all the eyeglass frames my insurance would cover, offering friendly feedback to my lengthy comments. I chose an artsy pair that were quite nice for the category. All in all, it was a pleasant and productive visit at Eye Style, and I will remember the respectful and friendly treatment. This was a welcome change from my last visit to a large provider, who prescribed by their guidelines rather than what I expressly requested, meaning one of three pairs of glasses were not usable. I wanted to like this buissness. Started out good . Exam was good. But after that as a buissness it is a fail. Lack of any call backs. I have to keep calling for any information. Ii has been almost a month since my exam and purchase of a pair of eyeglasses. Last I called they did not have a clue when my glasses would be in. This is not a way to run a business. They look like a good place but it would be best to go to Costco or any other place. I ordered these glasses on March 2. As of today March 26 I have not heard from them. I have.left messages. I am disappointed. They never gave me my prescription. I plan on going in tommrow to get my prescription and go somewhere else to get some glasses. We were grabbin' some Indian food nearby when my girlfriend accidentally poked her eye with her acrylic nail. We knew there was an Optometry office nearby so we figured we'd try our luck. Dr. Ho saw us almost immediately. Luckily she only had a minor "corneal abrasion." Dr. Ho was very empathetic, took her time examining Chantal, and provided us some numbing medicine and antibiotic drops. She felt better almost immediately. I wish I did not have Kaiser as my insurer as I would love to change to Dr. Sharma as he genuinely cares about his patients. Sunday night, my mom had an issue with her eye and could not wait to go to Kaiser and needed immediate attention and I did not want to go to the ER. Dr. Sharma himself actually answered the phone on Sunday afternoon. I can tell he did not want to work that night but said that if we cannot find anyone else, he will see her. What doctor does that? Sunday at 7:00 pm. He ordered meds and when Kaiser couldn't fill it, he called Costco the next day because they were the best priced( he did that research for us too) . The EYE Style optometry team is excellent! I have worn contact lenses for over 15 years (yikes, nothing like eye care to make you feel old). I called around to different optometrists in the area and EYE Style had the best prices for out-of-pocket exams, by far. Dr Sharma was transparent about my prescription change and asked about my vision comfort throughout the appt. For me, it's hard to tell in just one appt if I'm totally comfortable with a new prescription. After about a week trial with screens/driving/reading, I went back to the office to see if I could make a minor change to my prescription. Dr Sharma listened to me, we did a follow up exam, and he made the changes we discussed - no fuss, and more importantly, no extra charge! I was also very pleased with the glasses that I got - they have a great selection and they were ready for pickup within a week. I'll be back for my annual next year (or maybe sooner to check out any new frames!). read more

Dr. Sharman spent less than 5 minutes on my son's exam and gave him a prescription that was INCORRECT and could have damaged my son's eyes. Since no other VSP provider would accept Dr. Sharman's prescription without the PD listed, we ended up paying for a new exam for my son at another office and were shocked to find out how different it was!! The other office had much more up-to-date exam equipment, they also made sure to check for common eye health issues (which Dr. Sharman did not do). Dr. Sharman's exam was incomplete and incorrect, but he was still paid in full by VSP for it. We should have seen all of the red flags that other reviewers have mentioned and never let Dr. Sharman give my son an exam in the first place. It's odd that you can only text to make an appointment, and when we showed up on time to our appointment and the office was closed with a post-it on the door to text, we should have left. My son has medi-cal coverage and even though I brought in proof of coverage he still wouldn't provide frames & lenses that were covered on his plan. We learned the hard way on this one, but in the end my son got the eye care he deserves from someone else. read more

They have a clean office, thorough with eye exams, patiently answered all of my questions, flexible with appointments weekdays and weekends and helped me find the right eyeglasses and contact lenses. After the first eye exam, Dr. Sharma said I don't need a high power. It completely blew me away knowing that I have been on higher prescription for over 18 years!!! He asked me to try the trial lenses for a week. I did and went back to make slight adjustment with the prescription, and voila I have the perfect power for my eyes now.
