The EYE Style optometry team is excellent! I have worn contact lenses for over 15 years (yikes, nothing like eye care to make you feel old). I called around to different optometrists in the area and EYE Style had the best prices for out-of-pocket exams, by far. Dr Sharma was transparent about my prescription change and asked about my vision comfort throughout the appt. For me, it's hard to tell in just one appt if I'm totally comfortable with a new prescription. After about a week trial with screens/driving/reading, I went back to the office to see if I could make a minor change to my prescription. Dr Sharma listened to me, we did a follow up exam, and he made the changes we discussed - no fuss, and more importantly, no extra charge! I was also very pleased with the glasses that I got - they have a great selection and they were ready for pickup within a week. I'll be back for my annual next year (or maybe sooner to check out any new frames!). read more

I want to give a special thank you to Elizabeth--she is absolutely fantastic. My glasses frame was broken, I was really struggling without them and even getting headaches because of it. Elizabeth immediately stepped in and helped me replace my frame as quickly as possible. Her efficiency and fast response made such a huge difference for me. I'm new-ish to the North County area and finally decided "it's time I start seeing again"--as it had been over 2 years since I last had my eyes checked. I got kind of used to blurry people and squinting. The appointment was easy to book, and the staff had excellent health & safety protocols in place. When it came time to try on glasses, I felt like the belle of the ball. I put on a little fashion show and asked "do these make me look like a professional interior designer?"--I ended up going with a pair of short (like 90's style tiny) lenses and also had them change out the lenses in a pair of older glasses. I don't have insurance, and so they were very helpful in keeping me within my budget. The office is clean and modern and parking is a plenty. read more

I am very impressed with this company and the service I received. I got a very timely appointment to begin with for new bifocals and when I picked up the finished product today I also ventured to ask if the doctor could refer me to anyone who could repair my expensive Fendi prescription sunglasses that I accidently sat on and bent a couple of days ago. He offered to take a look at them and five minutes later I was out the door with my Fendi glasses bent back into shape and cleaned at a very, very minimal cost along with my bifocals with a case I didn't expect. Trying not to press my luck I asked about other glasses I had at home in need of repair and he said to bring them in and he'd take a look. I highly recommend this company!! read more

I had not been to an Optometrist in 5 years and was wearing very old Rx's. I found Eye Style Optometry through my insurance and saw that they had great reviews. Dr. Sharma was very sweet, patient and took his time to help me with all my questions and concerns. I could tell that he truly cared and was hands on helping me choose the frames that looked best on me. The staff is taking all of the Covid-19 safety precautions, masks, gloves and only one patient in the office at one time. When your glasses or contacts are ready, they will even bring them out to your car for you! I am so pleased with his service and I am so happy I came to Eye Style Optometry in Carlsbad!!! My wife and I never had eye issues until now. I guess it's normal to develop some minor eye problems when you get into your forties. We went to Dr.Sharma for a quick eye checkup at his Carlsbad office located in the shopping center in the corner of Faraday and Canon. The visit was a breeze and the overall experience was pleasant. Dr. Sharma is a gentle, and methodical person. He answered all our questions and addressed every one of our concerns. Both my wife and I eye got reading glasses, which are helping a lot. We feel a lot less strained after we spend countless hours in front of our computers.BTW, he accepts Vision Service Plan(VSP). He's is now our eye doctor for our entire family! read more

I wish i could rate Dr. Sharma more than 5 stars. He is AMAZING. I just moved from Texas and in the process lost my glasses and only had one pair of contacts left. well with my luck that last pair ripped and I was desperate to get in to order my glasses since I was starting a new job in the next few days, i called eye style since google said it was open and Dr Sharma ended up calling me back and said he would open the store since they were closed on Sunday. He got me in and dealt with an issue with my insurance ended up giving me a pair of trial contacts so i wasn't blind while my glasses came in. He is all about his patients. As someone who is currently on MediCal, it's been difficult for me to find a trustworthy optometrist. I can tell you the recommendations to see Dr. Ho did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in I was cheerfully greeted and quickly assisted. The man working was wearing a mask and gloves, and social distancing guidelines were followed. He showed me their extensive collection of frames and helped me pick out ones that are perfect for me! He also tightened them and made sure they were a perfect fit. I would highly recommend Eye Style Optometry. Dr. Sharma is very friendly and my 10 year old son really likes him. We were referred to Dr. Sharma as he accepts our Community Medi-cal insurance. I brought my 9 year daughter in to get her first pair of glasses. Dr. Sharma was very sweet with her and helped through the entire eye exam when she got shy. My eyes needs changed a lot this year and he has patiently been working with me to get to the right contacts over the last 4 months, allowing me to come back over and over until it's right and until I feel comfortable and we'll adjusted.
