I was running 4 mins behind due to traffic and they went ahead and brought in the appointment behind me since they were already there and waiting. Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. I will be ordering my new contacts from here soon and was told the turnaround time is really quick. I look forward to receiving them and I am excited to have a new eye doctor.

We connect the day before. one thing I can say Dr. Wammiker knows her job. she understood my dilemma of dry eyes made sure I had the best care that works. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - MyEyeDr is located in Irving-Las Colinas and is a location with many healthcare businesses. Inside is a dedicated area for the optometrist, complete with multiple rooms and high-end equipment. Then there is a dedicated area for you to purchase glasses with the brand-new prescription you just received. It's a one stop shop. 1 Star. Service - My optometrist (for over 2 decades), is Dr. Park. He's personable, thorough, detailed orientated, has knowledge of my vision history, and remembers my family. I feel very comfortable visiting Dr. Park as my optometrist. The receptionist and retail staff are also very helpful. Just be warned, they're really busy in December when everyone is trying to use the Insurance benefits before they reset. 1 Star. Facility - There is a small waiting area for kids (great if you bring them with you), and there are multiple rooms to take multiple tests on your eyes. "Number one or number two? Two or three?" You get the idea. For the retail area, there are a large number of designer brands (Tom Ford, Prade) along with mainstream brands (Ray-Ban, Oakley's). The staff is great. My only issue is that it's very expensive. Even if you have good insurance, expect to pay extra. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. When I asked her about all of the features that she mentioned, she said they were included with the lense. After I got home and looked at my receipt, I realized that the premium, DST and backside UV were an additional charge. I found out from a different sales associate that this was not the cheapest lense. This practice is known as unethical upselling.
