I came in on a busy Friday morning and there were 3 people ahead of me. It was worth the wait! I only like to do threading for my brows and its always scary to go somewhere new in case it's not what you like, especially for me since my eyebrow hair grows so slow. It's a small place but the lady working was friendly, fast, and efficient. And it was a good deal too, I think $10-15. When I sat down I asked her to please not make them too thin, more like a clean up, and to please keep a slight arch, not too round. And that's exactly what she did. I recommend speaking up before anyone does your brows to make sure the artist knows exactly what you want :) I will be back! read more

I usually only trust Laxmi with my eyebrows, as I've had issues in the past with the other technician. Unfortunately, I won't be walking in again or giving her another chance. My brows never come out even, and this last time really did it for me when she removed the inner part of one of my eyebrows. read more

Went in to have my brows done and was disappointed on the very little time the lady took to do my brows (compared to previous customers). The place was filthy. The walls had black grease marks. I noticed the black recliner chair seat had strands of someone's hair dangling to the floor. The screen at the register is greasy and uncleaned. I could feel the lady was not thread experienced and continued to tough my skin. My brows came out uneven from bottom and overall an unpleasant experience. The lady doing my brows had a negative demeanor. read more

First time visitor. Old, dry skin with sparse, gray, white, brown and stray eyebrow hairs. Laxmi made me feel comfortable, wore a mask to protect me as I am immunosuppressed, which was vital to me. I came away feeling uplifted. It was painless, quick, and quality work. Thanks! read more

I have been getting my eyebrows here for two years now, I absolutely love Laxmi's work. She's really good at threading, all the girls are good but Laxmi is definitely my favorite, she's the best! I highly recommend eyebrow threading salon, they are very professional, the prices are affordable and they are very friendly. You will not regret going there, I've been to many places and I never get what I want, their work is very inconsistent which is why I was happy to have found this little salon. I love this eyebrow threading salon! I always come see the owner- and now I proudly come and see Lily. I used to only come after Thursday's because I only trusted the owner. I have been here a few times in the past and it was ok, although painful. The last couple of times I went my eyebrows didn't look good. They were too thick. The last time, which was today, I got a "tadpole"--thick on the inside and thin on the outside. I asked the woman to fix it by thinning the inside and she refused. She said "No, it looks fine." Who's the customer?? I couldn't believe it. I am not going back. read more

Amazing. I went to a dermatologist before arriving at the threading salon because I felt my upper lip was very dark. Turns out my old threading salon couldn't get all the hairs out like this place. My entire face was treated with great care and I walked out feeling my best self. They really get all those fine hairs for a nice clean look read more

This place is amazing. I have been coming here since 2015 when they first opened. The owner is one of my favorites, but took a maternity leave. She is now back and I'm excited to have her work on my eye brows. She's amazing at what she does her name is Laxmi! The other girls that work there are great as well. The prices are amazing. Fast, easy, cheap. No complaints from me and I always leave here feeling clean and satisfied with the work. There are a couple (maybe 3?) different women working although 1 is almost always there, and they all do a great job. If it's something in particular you are looking for, or looking to avoid, vocalize that as they do listen. I only wish they took appointments because I've found myself waiting 30+ minutes on a couple occasions. read more

I came here the first time and the lady was polite and I was satisfied with the service . I went down there today at 6:25 and the sign said closed on the door already when everywhere online it says they close at 7:00pm. I opened the door and asked politely if they were closed. The lady stated"I need to go it's 6:45 pm closing time " I then asked if they did not close at 7:00pm and let her know that it was barely 6:30 ? She replied very rude "I'm busy I go."And turned around and ignored me . Meaning she wasn't going to help me . By the way she only had one person on the chair that she was already working on and one on the couch. read more

The salon is back open! I am SO happy. Laxmi did my eyebrows and made them look gorgeous again after I've been not able to get them done the last few months. It's one person at a time inside the salon, so the whole experience made me feel comfortable coming here. Loved it here before the pandemic and still love it during it as well! I was nervous about getting my eyebrows threaded here because I was attending a wedding for the upcoming weekend, and I normally go to the same person back in southern California, but unfortunately, I am in northern California now for school. I have to say I am quite pleasantly surprised with my experience here. Laxmi threaded my eyebrows and she really took the time to listen to what I specifically wanted and would ask me if I wanted my eyebrows thinner or more arched as she went instead of assuming she knew what I wanted or what would look best for me. She did a GREAT job and I am beyond happy that I chose to come here for my eyebrow threading. I did not have an appointment, and someone else was getting her eyebrows threaded when I walked in, but I only waited 10-15 min. max. I will definitely come back here again. read more

I have been searching for a new place to get my eyebrows done for awhile now and came across this new threading salon. My first threading experience went very well thanks to Laxmi. She is very professional and cleaned/shaped my eyebrows perfectly. I will never go back to traditional waxing. Great service! Laxmi is the best threader! Everyone is friendly here. They always make sure you're satisfied with the results. There are comments about the shop closing earlier than 7 - which frustrates some customers - but that only happens when one threader has to catch the bus at 6:45 or wait for one hour. I think there should be more understanding there. read more

She did a lovely job on my eyebrows! $10+tips, which is normal price. I usually go to this location closer to my home up North but I was in a desperate need of getting my eyebrows cleaned up. I searched on Yelp and it seems like a few places in San Rafael only opens on the weekend. I dug a little deeper and found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Swung by during my lunch break and she was quite busy. I decided to wait and it was worth it. She had a nice demeanor and helped me clean up my eyebrows. I usually get red around the area so I asked her for some aloe gel. The shop is small with 2 chairs but have plenty of seats for customers to sit during the wait. Parking: Salon located in a mall plaza, so free private lot. Yes! Took me just a little while to find parking because a lot of people were there Surrounding: What a prime location. Next to Trader Joe's, chipotle, sandwich shops, smoothie bars, etc. One stop mall! Across the street from Whole Foods too. I didn't explore the plaza at all because I was rushing back to work, but it seems like there a good place for grocery shopping. Also when I went, the SR high schoolers were on their lunch so this plaza got packed. Stamp card: Get 10 eyebrow threading session, get the 11th free. Accepts credit card. I would come back to get my eyebrows done. I guess it'll depend where I am, because I would also get it done back in Davis if I'm in that area. read more

Very accessible location with ample parking options. I come here every 2nd weekend to get my eyebrows done. Great & friendly service by all the ladies. Only wish that instead of stamping the card to record the number of visits, they switch to a more electronic system wherein only a mobile number needs to be fed to record. read more

This is a great spot to stop in for fast and inexpensive threading. I tried it out because of the location (bank, trader joes, burritos--- this shopping center has pretty much everything you could need on your lunch hour or way home from work), but this has quickly become my favorite spot to get threading done in San Rafael. $10 for brows and there's never a long wait. The salon is small, but clean and always peaceful. My brows always look great when I leave, and even as someone who generally gets very red and hivey after threading, I've even been able to go back to work after having my brows done by Laxmi. read more

Finally an expert Threading place in San Rafael! Located in Montecito Plaza around the corner from Sprint near the water, its the last shop on the right side. I was so happy to find my new Eye brow place. Laxmi the owner cheerfully greeted me and made my eyebrows look fantastic. Threading really is better than waxing, it lasts longer too. For $14 I got my eyebrows and upper lip area threaded. She did the sides of my lip as well. She also does waxing,Henna art and facials for $45! Sold! I am thrilled with my new look! read more

The whole point of me booking the service was to have help with my thick hair for an important event. I don't get blowouts often, and visit Marin frequently, so I really wanted to try a new place. I would like to emphasize that my hair looked good, however, I felt as though the people skills were lacking. Due to this I would likely not return. I tried to contact the salon to voice some concerns and they were pretty unresponsive/ didn't seem to care.

I was skeptical at first, but desperately to get my brows done before my friend's wedding in the next 2 days. So, I reached out to them via Yelp to see if they could get me in that same day since I had a flight to catch the next day and they were very accommodating. I was able to get my eyebrows done that afternoon! The place is very clean and my esthetician, Candis is absolutely a pro and takes her time. On top of that, she patiently listens to what you want and walks you through the process. I'm giving them 5 stars because on top of everything I mentioned above, friends in NYC complimented my brows non-stop. I'm very happy with this place and Candis and looking forward to my next visit!
