I said, "it's OK just carry on what you were doing." He reached over to my face to dab product on it WITH HIS FINGER, and my toothless dog gave him a warning. A 5lb 18yr old toothless dog and this guy acted like he was physically abused. It's not like he even got bit, and my tiny dog couldn't cause any harm even if he tried. He was so rude, "Yeah, no, this isn't going to happen." SUCH an over-reactive jerk. I should have trusted my instincts about him. I walked away from him to another employee, very sweet young girl. Saw the jerk guy gossiping about the incident in the corner with coworkers. Walked by him and called him a jerk (the least of which he was) and he got all uppity like he'd been slapped, saying I had to leave over and over again, making a big dramatic scene. Asked for manager (she was one of the recipients of the gossip in the corner). She wanted another employee to accompany me and the girl who was going to help me-- what? Like I'm some criminal threat? Nice management and customer relations-- NOT. Rude, oppressive, unprofessional. Wow, I will never step foot in there again. He nor the manager ever even smiled. Horribly run. If I were the owner, I would be mortified reading these negative reviews and DO something about it! The young girls there were very sweet but this fussy, g*y Karen guy and manager were just awful and should not be working with the public who are there to spend their money and support their business. I'm so sick and tired of businesses like this where they think they're doing YOU a huge favor. That generation (particularly of his "ilk") are so entitled and governed by their self important, over-exaggerated feelings. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS. Do your job or don't work with the public. I not only do not recommend giving this place your business and your money, but would say steer entirely clear of it. As anyone who has had lash extensions knows, they are addictive! Waking up with full, beautiful eyelashes without makeup is wonderful! I have seen at least 3 other lash artists, and Renee is by far the best. I came to her for lash extensions after my lash artist moved 2 years ago, and was amazed at the difference in what Renee offers; previous lashes had too much glue, and didn't come close to looking as natural and beautiful as Renee's. She is professional, reliable, well priced and a lot of fun! Because of time constraints, I had to stop with the extensions, and Renee recommended Latisse with a tint/lift. I just had my first tint /lift after 8 weeks with Latisse, and I am blown away by the results- Candice (Renee's assistant) did a beautiful job! My lashes aren't as full as when I did the extensions, but I can still look girly and fabulous without makeup and appointments every 3-4 weeks. Thank you Renee and Candice! read more

I went to LAB for a facial, brow wax/tint, and eyelash tint. I had an AMAZING experience and will definitely be back for more. The place is so chic and clean, and the women are SO easy to talk to. Renee and Tan really listened to what I wanted and exceeded expectations. The facial felt like I was at a fancy resort. My brows look better than they have in years and my lashes look like I'm wearing mascara! It's so hard to find someone to trust with my brows. Lash Art Brow is a sweet salon in the West End of San Rafael and Renee is a brilliant lash artist! For me she uses a combination of lash lengths for a natural feathery look - exactly how I like them.
