I was very specific about what I wanted and told the spa tech Amy that I was looking for natural hybrid lashes. She gave me Mega Volume Lashes which I absolutely hate. They are too long and too thick and stiff. The brow lamination came out great but lasted only a week, when it should last at least 4-5 weeks. Needless to say it was a complete disaster and was not worth $400. I will be going back to my previous place. They are ALOT cheaper and do a much better job. Now I understand why Emera Lash had plenty of openings and my other spa was fully booked. Not sure how this place has 5 stars when it doesn't even deserve 1.

I spent several weeks deciding what treatment I would treat myself to with my next paycheck and chose a lash lift at Plush Beauty Bar Unfortunately, an hour before my appt, someone passed away at my work and I was called into an emergency meeting to discuss. I realized I was running late for my appointment and I called the Plush Beauty Bar to see what I could do given my emergent need to figure something out (like I have crying employees and need to inform next of kin etc but can make it to my appt if you give me a few minutes...). I was informed that despite my extenuating circumstances, someone dying at my place of employment and my immediate role in needing to manage that crisis, there was nothing Plush Beauty Bar could do. The staff member informed me I had called a little too late to work something out and that my visit would be considered a no show and would require the full price of service. I understand the cancellation policy and I was willing to come in and rebook, spend the money that was owed to the technician, tip well, was trying to figure something out. I offered to show my business card or do anything to illustrate that this isn't just something I made up. Despite these efforts and several tears, Plush Beauty Bar was unwilling to give me some grace and work with me given my circumstances. Hope this helps!

Anna and Douglas are incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They make everyone feel comfortable, and their attention to detail is exceptional. I asked to have my gel removed, and according to the salon's official price list, this service costs $5. However, I was charged an additional $15 instead. No one informed me about the extra charge beforehand--they simply added it to the final bill, which I found very disappointing and I didn't even do a design on my nails. What bothered me the most, though, was the attitude of the staff, especially the receptionist and the other employees. They were neither welcoming nor friendly, and I genuinely felt unwelcome from the moment I arrived. Unfortunately, I even felt discriminated against because of the way I was treated.
